We joined the tour with the interesting, competent, friendly and funny tour guide Kathlyn. To see the Gaudi buildings with all the facts we got told was a good experience. We had two rides with the Metro in between. We were two out of seven in the group. That worked perfectly.

Top notch tour guide

Carol_M, Feb 2026
Be prepared to walk and/or stand for a little over 2 hours. Our guide was well informed and his narrative was well developed to hold our attention.

Gaudi in the rain, why not

Billie_R, Jan 2026
If you're lucky enough to get Tati as your tour guide you've hit the jackpot. She is smart, witty and knowledgeable about all the history of Gaudi's famous buildings and a few other gems about the man himself. She taught us how to navigate the metro system and how not to complain about the rain. Spectacular experience. Don't forget a generous at the end!

The mystique of Gaudi

10/10 for a walking tour

Rachel_N, Sep 2025
Amazing experience, learnt and saw so much on the tour. We did 3 walking tours during our visit and this was the best. Julie was very friendly and knowledgable - highly recommend doing this if you’re in Barcelona.

Definitely recommend!

My husband and I had a fantastic time! Ivan was very knowledgeable and engaging and we found this was a great way to see different parts of the city!

Julie helps you envision Gaudi 's life!

Ruth_R, May 2025
Julie was an excellent guide. She helped you understand the history and struggles Antonin Gaudi went through to fulfill his architectural design dreams. She takes you from his beginning to his untimely demise. You really get to know a lot about the history of Barcelona during this period. Great walking tour!

Loved it!

Gaudi’s best works!

CJ_O, Mar 2025
A very detailed tour about Gaudi and his works of art. Our guide Tati was so passionate and gave us so many fun facts. My 11 year old son whom I thought wouldn’t be interested was totally engrossed and she made it so interesting for him. Our 2 hour tour ran into 3 hours because she shared so much details. I totally recommend!!! If there were 7 stars we would have given her full marks!!

A Great introduction to Gaudi and Barcelona

David_L, Oct 2024
We had a very good tour with Lisa from Runner bean tours, she was Irish and had lived in Barcelona for many years . She was very knowledgeable and a very good raconteur. We met in a pretty square with Gaudi lampposts off La Rambla ( Placa Reial ).She took us through Gaudi’s life and started with his early career and work and then we went from Guell’s mansion to the Casa Batllo and on to El Pedrera and finally to Sagrada Familia . We also walked some of La Rambla and she helped us with using the metro for 2 short journeys. The tour does not take you inside the buildings but she had plenty of photos to show us . You need to return and book entrances to the buildings separately . We missed the inside of Sagrada Familia because it was a Saturday and you needed to book at least a week in advance ( October) We did go back and explored El Pedrera which was fascinating and has lovely roof top vistas and the amazing chimney pots and ventilation shafts . Lisa had told us all about this in her tour . She gave us a great introduction to Gaudi and Barcelona. Throroughly recommended. The tour was about 2 1/2 hours.

Definitely recommend

Now We Know Gaudi

Deborah_W, Sep 2024
We saw the 4 primary Gaudi buildings and learned about Gaudi and a little history of Barcelona and Spain. The pace was just right, and we got nice photos. I'm addition, we learned about how to use the metro and our best ticket options. Our guide, Jarrod, did an excellent job of managing our movement around the rain. Jarrod was an excellent guide with extensive knowledge of Gaudi, Barcelona, and how to be a visitor here.

Lovely experience.

Aisha_A, Jul 2024
The tout guide was so knowledgeable and very cheerful. It was a great experience all through, we got to learn a lot about gaudi and his works. And a lot of local details too.

A gem of a tour for Gaudi fans

Pan_M, Jul 2024
Really engaging tour with Jarrod. I learned more about Gaudi than I ever had. Also, a great intro to the Barcelona Metro. Jarrod gave my family and I good tips on how to stay safe in Barca, as well. He told us to be vigilant, but not afraid re: petty theft. I recommend this tour!

Great tour!

Kadra_R, Jul 2024
If you’ve never been to Barcelona; this trip is a great place to start. Ram was knowledgeable and kind. Will recommend to anyone.

Excellent Tour and History of Barcelona (Architectural Gaudi Tour)

Yaseen_N, Apr 2024
Ram was an excellent tour guide. Very thoughtful, clear and easy to follow. He definitely exhibits Barcelona's true spirit of hospitality. Please tip your guides, they are super kind and spend quite a bit time of time with us! It was a great walking tour. Keep in mind, if you have a metro pass, it will be easy to transfer between sites (speeds up the process of getting the group from one location to another).

Un gran cafone

Fabio_C, Aug 2024

Response from Host, Aug 2024

Hi Fabio, I am sorry that you decided to leave the tour early. As stated in the information, the Free tour that you reserved was in English. The guide that you had that day was born in Australia and it is Spanish national with years of experience as a tour guide. To me (I am Spanish so English is not my first language either), he speaks quite slow and clearly. I talked to him and he said that he had slowed down his speech so you could follow him better, but if seems that you still didn't understand him and left with a quick "arrivederci". I think that if you didn't have a good command of English, you should have reserved a tour in Italian (they are offered by other companies), but I hope you understand that we can't compromise the quality of the tour out of respect for the other participants who booked the English tour. To clarify, the maximum number of people allowed on the tour is 20 (6 is the maximum number allowed per reservation). Again, I am sorry that you felt this way and I hope you had a nice stay in our city :) Gorka Regidor

Petite balade 😀
