We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience, especially when we toured the market, she provided valuable education on what to look for in terms of fresh foods and the name of the authentic stands and why. Pre-cooking she presented Tapas that were all very delicious which led us into the prepping and cooking. She kept our wine glasses full, she had a great sense of humor which encouraged our group bonding, filled with laughter and lots of pictures. The food (Paella & flan) were spectacular and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great activity during your time in Barcelona. Thank you Claudia for being awesome!!

After a quick tour of the market, we spent a very pleasant few hours with Claudia, eating tapas, drinking wine, making and enjoying a 3-course feast. Claudia was a great hostess, made the whole process easy and enjoyable, and made sure we had a great time. We loved this class - it was a highlight of our trip - and would absolutely recommend.

Claudia was an amazing host. She took us to the market to get an idea where to find authentic Barcelona /Catalunya food to cook, as well as explaining culture and tradition.
Everything was ready for us when we got back to the apartment. There are 3 flights of stairs to climb, so keep that in mind. We all had a chance to cook and watch as we wanted to. We worked with common ingredients and dishes to the area, then had a sit down meal while learning more about the others in our group. There was some amazing paprika to purchase, but the fun of learning and cooking together with Claudia’s care and expertise, as well as her sou chef, was the highlight. Easily one of the best experiences I’ve had!!

This was excellent if you like to cook or eat or both. The group is small enough to be able to talk to everyone, but large enough to not be awkward if you run out of things to say. Claudia and the team were great, and so nice. The instruction was great, as were the finished products. The stairs to the location are a lot if you have mobility issues.

Claudia was very knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining the ingredients and techniques do make a good paella. Only caveat is that I have yet to receive the recipes promised by email.

This cooking class was our first activity once touching down in Barcelona…and it was a fabulous introduction to the city!
We started the class in the Mercat which our host walked us through explaining different offerings and providing tatstings!
The cooking portion of the class aas also fabulous with plenty of tastings and audience participation.
10/10 for this experience!

We enjoyed everything about this! The market tour was interesting, and the cooking class was so fun. The chef is relaxed and if anyone was nervous about cooking, he allowed them to watch. He was knowledgeable about the spices and history of dishes. He kept my 14-year-old engaged and cooking. We’d recommend this to anyone!

Our chef was awesome. His English was great and he was very funny. A patient and entertaining teacher. Not only did we make paella but some other dishes and a classic Catalonian dessert. Had a great time with the whole group, and we didn't know anyone else. Thanks a lot, chef!
