Beware the sun is hot and the climb is steep. Wear sunscreen and comfortable shoes you won’t slip on or out of. Bring water (only food or beverage you’re allowed to have anyways).
Guide was great and very knowledgeable. Tried to get us in the shade as much as he could. Would do it again!

We had a great experience on this tour with Petros as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour engaging. He took lovely photos of us in front of the Parthenon as well which we appreciated. Due to some factors outside his control, we did have to rush through the museum but we still had a great time.

A great walking tour of Acropolis and the museum but better do it when the weather is not too hot, bring rain gear as well. My tour guide Victor was excellent in explaining details of the background history.

Our Guide Sophia and driver Iannis were fantastic. They navigated the day well and made the trip very enjoyable. Iannis was amazing in getting us through the narrowest of streets, winding roads and delivering us safely back to Athens. It is a thoroughly memorable trip to an amazing site.

Had a very informative two hour walking tour with our guide Myrto. She knows a lot about Greek history and kept the pace appropriate (as it was a hot day). Great detail about all of the temples, monuments, etc. Note tha there is climbing as noted, and would recommend bringing water, wear a hat, sunscreen, and sturdy sneakers/walking shoes)

We felt a bit rushed and may have enjoyed the experience more on our own. Especially the museum after the acropolis.
The reason we went this was to get in at 8:15 to beat the heat. The 8 AM slot was not available from the official ticket site.

It was blazing hot, but our guide did get best to stay in the shade. The tour was three hours, but felt longer. Our guide didn't seem too excited, and the tour seemed to go at a slow pace. It was great to see these historic sites, but it would have been better with a more enthusiastic guide.

The tour guide could barely speak English so almost impossible to understand what he was saying, constantly paused to search for the right words & when he was talking, he kept speaking away from his microphone so no one could hear him anyway. Our ear pieces had a lot of static & didn’t work well. The information given (that we could understand) was very vague. After everyone had left the tour early (also frustrated with the guide) my husband asked the tour guide a simple question regarding some Greek history & the tour guide pretended to cough & then said goodbye & walked off (30 mins early). Most bizarre & disappointing tour we’ve been on during our 3 week holiday in Europe. Definitely avoid this one.

My tour time was changed and honestly thank God it was, I do not know if I could have stood during the lunch heat. Dora was a great guide but it was very windy on her microphone and I couldn’t understand most of it through the earphones. We stopped and the most important places throughout the climb.

Nikos was amazing at explaining so much about the history of Athens. He made sure we were always stopped and resting in a shaded area for him to explain more about the history and the sites we were seeing. The whole process was easy to follow and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the Acropolis!

We took the early access tour on June 1. The gentleman who was a historian and scholar was knowledgeable and patient. You really get excellent background and in depth information. The audio headsets they provide are a "must have" for tours in my opinion. Without them people in the back of a crowd lose out. My daughter who was a little tired, was able to sit away from our guide at times and still hear the details. My only warning about this tour is as follows: We chose the the early access one to beat the crowds, but this does not entirely work. 1. Everyone knows about getting there early. 2. Because the tour pauses and describes many stops along the way up, by the time you actually get to the Parthenon it's no longer early - It was about 10:30 and crowded. So if you really want to avoid the crowds for photos in particular, don't get a tour, go up by yourself at open or late in the day. I almost considered going back another day without a tour just for clear photos of the temples.

I think the tour was excellent, the tour guide was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. I think your platform that lists the tour is terrible, confusing and inaccurate. The tour began at 8:45 not 8am as you listed it.

I’d highly recommend everyone to take this tour. Because there’s so much to see on the Acropolis it’s essential to take a tour like this. Our group was very lucky to have what must be one of the best guides in Athens. Angela is her name. She was absolutely brilliant and was so personable and knowledgeable it made the tour so interesting.

Great tour Marina was lovely very informative. It’s hottt at the top of the Acropolis. She also gave us a mini tour of the ruins around the Acropolis. Highly recommend. You may not understand everything without a tour guide.
