The class was great with the chef and assistant very informative, location is very good with nice views over Athens and the mountains from the rooftop and they were accommodating of the heat on a very hot day. We really enjoyed the class as a group of friends

What a delightful surprise this rooftop coking class turned out to be! Softis and Jason were great chefs as well as entertaining, personable and friendly. The atmosphere provided a great view of the city and was cozy and a perfect set up for the cooking class. We prepared traditional Greek food and learned a great deal about the ingredients used. I would highly recommend this class.

***Jason and his business partner Sotiris couldn't have been nicer or more fun. They are new to Viator and they have created a covered rooftop space, that easily and comfortably can hold 8 guests. It was a hot day in Athens, but you wouldn't notice with the breeze and shade. ***They are located in a bit more upscale neighborhood, but still a tad difficult for the driver to find because of the street's layout, so add another 15 minutes travel time. They are always available by phone as you navigate your way there. ***Enjoy the lovely view, as I and my husband did, and learn their splendid way of cooking and a little baking. Enjoy the commradere and laughter 😃. ***Professional hosts, as they are, made our trip extremely memorable. It is well worth the price for sure.

Had a wonderful experience at Diamond rooftop cooking class. Beautifully decorated tables to prepare the meals. Sotiris is a wonderful teacher. Kind, knowledgeable and friendly. I had so much fun! I really learned a lot from him with his professional Greek cooking techniques. We made everything from scratch! All the food was divine! I will definitely be coming back and will be bringing some friends with me to enjoy this wonderful experience! Thank you!

Participated in this class during my last trip to Greece and even though I went solo, I had so much fun. The place itself is georgeous, the view is amazing and I loved the decoration. Sotiris made me feel very comfortable, despite my poor culinary skills :P It's a 5/5 activity for everyone wishing to prepare and taste some authentic Greek recipes. PS: Thanks for everything, I will definitely try to make the pie myself!

An Evening of Greek Culinary Delights with an Acropolis View

    Lynn_J, Apr 2025
While exploring Athens, my partner and I found ourselves signing up for a Greek cooking class at the Diamond Roof Garden — kind of on a whim — and it ended up being one of the most unexpectedly fun parts of our trip. The rooftop setting was incredible, with a wide-open view of the Acropolis glowing as the sun went down. Our chef, Sotiris, was friendly, funny, and made the whole thing feel relaxed and approachable. We joined a small group and cooked a full meal from scratch: spanakopita, a fresh Aegean salad, hearty moussaka, and a custard pie for dessert. It was surprisingly hands-on, but in the best way — and a lot more fun than we expected. Afterward, we all sat down together to enjoy the food we’d made, and the view really took it to the next level. Great vibe, great food, and a totally unique way to spend an evening in Athens.
