My friends and I had a wonderful experience. Mara was very informative and lots of fun. A most enjoyable time we had. The other couple that was in our class were from the USA and we had lovely lunchtime conversation with them. I would recommend this experience to anyone going to Athens.

True Greek Food Basics

Christopher_C, Jun 2026
Exactly what we were looking for! This class with Irini was a complete meal, all timed to finish at the same time for an incredible meal. A simple feta/oregano pie, sausage with peppers & onions, omelet with tomatoes, tzatziki & pita, and greek salad. Our instructor, Irini was charming, patient, and made these dishes easy to understand and replicate. They send the recipes to you afterwards, in case you forget. We highly recommend doing this before you head home so you can take a bit of Greece with you to share with family & friends of course!

Incredible would certainly enjoy this a second time

Still waiting for the recipes

Our chef was kind and very friendly. We met very nice people in the class. I only rated it 4 stars we were promised that all recipes will be emailed to us but we still haven’t received it. ☹️

Warm host who was exceptionally friendly and helpful Note class is in a far location so a bunch of time is wasted in transit Was more of a cooking demonstration than cooking class Wish we could have been more hands on and make a more complex dish. Main was a very basic sausage pepper stir fry and I don't think the group learned much

Great unique experience!

Irini did an amazing job teaching us how to make traditional Greek foods. Plenty of wine to go around and finished with a great mastic ice cream dessert. And the tour beforehand with Natalia was so unique and insightful. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Not much cooking

Cumara_O, Apr 2026
I would say there was much less actual cooking than most other cooking classes I’ve taken. Everything was already cut and prepped and measured for you. Some might favor that but others might not. We made meatballs, spinach pies, stuffed peppers, tatziki. We were supposed to get the recipes but have not yet

Great time spent cooking

Such a wonderful way to spend a few hours in Athens. Cooking lesson with what felt like a group of old friends. We learned how to cook authentic Greek food then sat and tasted some of the most delicious food we ever had

Great Experience.

The whole experience was great. We ended up being the only couple due to others canceling. But it was a great time and fun

Delicious Appetizers & Beautiful Setting

Kristy_H, Aug 2025
We had a wonderful time! The market tour was replaced with a stroll through Anafiotika, where Natalia shared stunning city views. The class was more about prepping than full cooking, but rolling grape leaves, meatballs, stuffed peppers, and spinach pies was so much fun—and everything tasted amazing. The garden setting to enjoy our food was beautiful. Highly recommend, just note it’s more appetizers than entrées.

Nice time was had by all!

Linda_S, Aug 2025
The cooking class was fun-we learned quite a few tricks-Mara and Natalia were very friendly-could have done without the market tour-most of the shops were closed and the stalls were empty-we didn’t get any of our ingredients there.
