Our driver arrived early,...

Our driver arrived early, loaded the bags for all six of us after a 10 day cruise and safely delivered us to our hotel and the vehicle was plenty large enough for everything. Viator was our go to transportation while in Greece, for airport to an apartment, after three days to the cruise port and after 10 days to our hotel. The price was good especially since we divided up between traveling couples.

Big van in Athens

we had booked a smaller vehicle but when I reiterated that we would bring 2 duffle bags, 2 big suitcases, 4 carryons and 2 walkers, I was advised that a van would be needed - for an additional charge of $40. The driver met us at the pier, having arranged with the police to park in front of the terminal. It was a large van, so large I asked him to use the mike to speak to us while driving. Probably could hold 18 passengers. He was courteous and patient, waiting for us to pass through immigration procedures and collect our luggage. Drove safely. Smaller vehicles are available if you have less luggage - the luggage area at the back of the van was quite full with ours. Good communication with Ancient Greece Tours all the time.

We arrived earlier then I had anticipated and I messaged Viator asking them if they could come to the port early and they did accommodate us which we were so happy not to have to wait another hour. Great service, but Uber Taxi is cheaper in central Athens.

Our driver was great and the ride was as expected. However, we did not know that Uber works with the Taxis in Athens. This did not make sense for us since we were in central Athens and could literally get a Taxi in 1 minute and it would have been cheaper. This is a much better option for someone further away where Taxi service is not readily available or when you have several people and can't fit in a standard Taxi.

Perfect service

Driver was early, and kept in good touch with us; was waiting for us when we disembarked and brought around a large, comfortable, very clean Mercedes van. Outstanding site and magnificent scenery

Amazing scenery, a must see. Very knowledgeable guide -Katherine. I learnt a lot about deciphering the era of artefacts we looked at and really enjoyed her commentary. A good sized stop in Arechova was also delightful. Bus was in great condition and a pleasure to travel in thanks to the driver.

Hotel transfer in style

Me and my wife recently visited Athens in Greece. We expected to be tired at arrival so we booked a transfer from airport to hotel. Our driver George Ilios was a very nice person and accommodated all our questions about Athens. He recommended things to do at different price levels depending on taste and budget. He also told us about different districts, what to seek and what to avoid. It turned out he was right. Very helpful. The small van was comfortable and he took care of the baggage without any problem. We would like to recommend Georges service to anyone and especially if you are new to Athens. If you have had a good time in Athens and suddenly notice that the budget mysteriously shrunk we can recommend the Metro. We aimed for Syntagma square and found that trains for the airport are easy to find by visible signs and digital displays. Took about 50-60 min and the cost in late 2025 was 9 Euro/person.

Everything happenned exactly as it should have

Pick up was on time and easy to find at port. driver was helpful getting our luggage to and from the car. The car was clean and large and we got where we were going on time. Cant really ask for more than that ( oh yeah and the driver turned the ride to the airport in to a bit of a tour pointing out key spots and buildings) ++
