This was such a unique experience. I’m so happy we did it. I loved trying to figure out what we were eating. Everything was so well thought out and planned. If I make it to Amsterdam I would do it again

Great experience! The staff was so nice and the food quality was great. The time between each course was perfect. I was afraid, that the room would only be dim so you still could see shadows. But it was so dark, you couldn't see your hand in front of you.

This experience was awful. The environment was pitch black. The food we were eating was never identified to us and was unidentifiable to taste. The way the food was served made it nearly impossible to eat with provided silverware and therefore we made a mess the table was extremely tight and uncomfortable. Overall one of the worst experiences with Viator

Tasting food in a pitch black atmosphere was an amazing experience, allowing your senses other than sight to take over. Your hearing, touch and taste senses become heightened and once you adjust to the dark you sit baa k and enjoy the evening.

A very interesting experience. Food was tasty, host was convivial. Viator site mentioned infrared photo; however, when we asked about it our waiter seemed to know nothing about it. Also, it would have been nice to get a copy of the menu afterwards (so we’d know exactly what we’d eaten). Highly recommended!

This is an experience! Really heightens your sense of perception, smell and taste. We really enjoyed the fun of this and even having the opportunity to chat in the dark in itself was a great experience! Our waiter was lovely and introduced himself by humming when he entered the room- we’ll not spoil anything- try for yourself😁

Great start with friendly & accommodating people on the front desk. It really is completely dark, was concerned about the quality of the food though it was really well thought through to make you question the different textures & cheeky surprises. The blind waiters were fun, relaxed & helpful. Definitely loads to chat about exploring your senses & lack of them. Only a few splatters & disappointing empty forkfuls - we couldn’t have enjoyed it more & certainly an experience in life I wouldn’t have wanted to miss. Go!

A little "uncomfortable" at the beginning but very interesting experience to put you outside of your comfort zone. Our visit was even more exciting with a server running into me a couple of times from time to time and getting lost on the way out... good stuff!!!

What a great awareness and consciousness-raising experience for both your senses and for people who have visual impairments! We had the package without drinks, but ordered 2 large bottles of water and 3 soft drinks for a very reasonable 25€. Professionally conducted, clear and easy-to understand explanations. Don’t be nervous, it’s an exciting and novel experience, but repeat visits with different people are a great and different experience every time.

Really cool experience! My boyfriend and I had a really good time with this. It takes a while to do so definitely plan ahead to do this early in the evening and have a good time with it. Food was really good but more fun to try to figure out what everything was than to enjoy the food itself. Spring for the cheese tasting and wine pairings with the food.

This was a totally amazing experience. We were greeted in the bar and got told to put our belongings in the lockers provided. We were then asked if there were any foods that we wouldn't eat, or allergies etc. Then it was fully explained that all the staff are visually impaired and that if we needed there attention to just call out. Obviously you do not know what you are eating, and t gives a fab dining experience. The waiting staff were helpful, extremely polite and very attentive. The meal eaten and plenty of laughs along the way. If I could rate it a 10 star, this experience would get it. I would do this again in a heartbeat.
