Loved the tour! Having a small group makes a difference on being able to move quicker and spend more time at each location. As well as more time speaking with the guide. Our guide Filipe was extremely knowledgeable and I enjoyed learning about Portuguese history from him.

Fabulous tour of Sintra palaces

My husband and I had the most fabulous tour with Bruno. He could not have been friendlier or more informative. He told us all the history of Sintra and of course the palaces. The information said there was a lot of walking and that was an understatement. You need to be able to walk up and down steps the entire time. We thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommended if you are in good physical shape. We walked from our hotel to join the group and ended up walking over 15,000 steps that afternoon. We traveled in a small van and our group was very congenial. You would be lucky to have Bruno as your guide.

Mikael was an amazing guide!! He had a great combination of information, history and kindness. He is actually from Sintra so that made it even more special! Our Lisbon to Porto Private drive was absolutely wonderful! Ana was wonderful! She was so nice, professional and courteous. She was very informative and went completely out of her way to ensure that we had everything that we needed and to visit certain places, at our stop that were a must. Our first stop was Obidos, and it was amazing. The Ginja was so good! There is fabulous little Chocolate shop called The Chocolate House-AMAZING! If you go, you have to go by the Chocolate House. Our second stop was Fatima. I have been dreaming of visiting Fatima for many years. Ana was so gracious, respectful and understanding of my faith. I am a very faithful Catholic and being able to visit Fatima, was an overwhelming spiritual experience for me. She explained each building in detail, when we arrived and then she let us go, and spend as much time as we needed. I am very grateful to her for that. She set up a place for lunch, and after that we continued on to Porto. The drive was very smooth and comfortable. Once we arrived in Porto she recommended places that we should definitely visit, and even sent links on places to eat and go. It was just so nice of her and she did not need to go out of her way, the way she did. I highly recommend this experience, and highly recommend Ana! You will not be disappointed! Jennie & Greg

An Incredible Day...

An Incredible Day Exploring Sintra, Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais! We had an incredible time on this tour! Our guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining what to expect throughout the day. He was clear about the itinerary and helped us understand how the day would unfold, which made the experience much more enjoyable. A few tips for anyone planning to book this tour: Meeting point: It can be a little chaotic because there are so many people gathering for different tours. Don't worry! Just find one of the tour guides near Starbucks, give them your name, and they will direct you to the correct guide. Be prepared to walk! The bus can only get so close to many of the attractions, so expect a fair amount of walking. Wear comfortable shoes and be ready to explore. Pena Palace was beautiful, with breathtaking scenery and incredible photo opportunities. The views are spectacular, and the pictures came out outstanding. Quinta da Regaleira was another highlight. The walk through the grounds was beautiful, with so much to see along the way and plenty of opportunities for photography. Take your time to appreciate the surroundings. Cabo da Roca was beautiful, but keep in mind that this is a fairly quick stop, with only a few minutes to take photos and enjoy the views. Cascais is where I have an important recommendation. You get approximately an hour and a half there at the end of the tour. Knowing this ahead of time, we decided to stay in Cascais and make our own way back to Lisbon by train. It was very simple, with just a few stops back to Lisbon. I highly recommend considering this option if you want more time to enjoy Cascais. By the time you sit down for a meal, you may find that there isn't enough time left to explore the town and do some shopping before the group departs. Staying behind gave us the flexibility to enjoy Cascais at our own pace rather than feeling rushed. Overall, this was a fantastic day filled with beautiful scenery, memorable sights, and great experiences. Mike was a knowledgeable guide, and the tour was an excellent way to see several of Portugal's most beautiful destinations in one day. I highly recommend this tour! Just wear comfortable shoes, know what to expect at each stop, and seriously consider staying in Cascais a little longer if your schedule allows. You won't regret it!

Our tour with Nuno was...

Our tour with Nuno was great!! He is knowledgeable, very friendly & personable! When we mentioned that we were driving to Porto, he even gave us some restaurant tips along the way, as well as some recommendations in Lisbon! The Pena Palace was beautiful & we got there before the crowds. Nuno recommended skipping the inside of the palace since only 4-5 rooms inside are open to the public and the wait time to get inside is very long. He dropped us off in the town of Sintra, recommended a pastry shop & told us to take some time shopping. We didn’t feel rushed at all!

Arthur’s tour was perfect intro into the city

This was an amazing tour with our guide Arthur. He was a very safe driver and so knowledgeable about the history of the cities we toured. We learned so much in a short time while having a great time. I would highly recommend requesting Arthur if you want someone to guide you versus just driving you around. His food and city recommendations were also spot on.
