Great Day in Wine Country

Our Douro Valley winery tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal! Vasco, our cheerful driver, was full of amusing anecdotes and made the journey as enjoyable as the destinations. The small group made the experience feel intimate and relaxed, allowing us to take our time and enjoy the day without feeling rushed. We loved being able to stop at scenic viewpoints for photos and even had the unique opportunity to pick and taste grapes right off the vine! The winery tours were both informative and entertaining, filled with humor and fascinating insights into the region’s winemaking traditions. Lunch was authentic and delicious, and the boat ride along the Douro River offered even more breathtaking views of the valley. We highly recommend this wonderful tour to anyone visiting Porto. It was a memorable experience from beginning to end!

Great trip. Great guide. Should be less comments on US politics on boat tour. Also, finding the guide at meeting location should be improved. It is a big plaza with lots of people. He was wearing a red shirt and red sing with number 26 but nowhere I was told that so I just kept asking everyone I thought looked like a guide.

Unforgettable Porto to Lisbon Adventure

What an incredible way to travel from Porto to Lisbon! We landed in Porto that morning and, instead of simply making the drive south, Josephi helped turn the entire day into an adventure. My daughter had chosen four places she wanted to visit along the way, including Costa Nova, Aveiro, Nazaré, and Óbidos, and Josephi made everything incredibly easy. He knew exactly where to park, the best places for photos, where to find good and affordable food, and offered great recommendations throughout the day. At each stop, he dropped us in the perfect location, gave us the freedom to explore on our own, and then met us when we were ready to continue. I honestly can’t imagine trying to do everything we did that day on our own. We were able to see and experience so much without any of the stress of navigating, parking, or figuring out logistics. Josephi was friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and a very safe driver. By the time we arrived in Lisbon that evening, we felt like we had experienced an entire vacation day rather than just a transfer between cities. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone traveling between Porto and Lisbon. It was convenient, personal, and one of the best adventures of our trip!

Such a great way to see the city

Antonio was amazing! So knowledgeable and such a kind human being. This tour is amazing to do on one of your first days in the city as it allows you for see all the neighborhoods & and historic sights so that you know what to come back to. I would do this in every city if I could :). The length of the tour is long however so worth it! Pack a snack & water and enjoy.
