Was incredibly underwhelming. Maybe there just aren’t enough good ghost stories to make a tour around and that’s why the guide included info on where Jackie Kennedy used to live and a house with a hanging “witch ball” in the window?

Our Georgetown Ghost Tour is focused exclusively on ghost stories, curses, and the paranormal history of the neighborhood as we intentionally leave the traditional history stops to our daytime tours; though we are always happy to answer questions guests have related to the history of this colonial neighborhood and someone asks about the Kennedys on every tour! A witch ball is a centuries-old talisman believed to trap evil spirits and is included in our discussion on paranormal aspects of the neighborhood; past and present. None of the stops on this tour are history stops and all, even the Kennedy stories, are related to ghosts, curses, and tragedy but it is a historic neighborhood and these stories weave the history of Georgetown through the tour.

The guide was knowledgeable and knew the area. He had some great stories but they were not all the ones listed on the itinerary. No mention of the university or a few others. Not a lot of ghost stories but a lot of history which was interesting.

This tour was delightful! In addition to the haunted stops and stories, it was lovely to wander through Georgetown. Our guide, Sonia, was wonderful! She was knowledgeable, witty, and super friendly. She learned and retained all our names and hometowns, and was nice to talk to along the tour.

It’s family friendly, but if you have easily scared kids, just take caution. But truly one of the best parts of the DC trip as a whole. Excellent environment, excellent guide and wish it was even longer!

The guide was entertaining, nothing but stories about ghost sightings. Talked about taking other groups through the Old Stone House and a ghost experience but we just stood outside of it and didn’t goin.

I advise you know a bit about American history during the civil war period, though the tour guide will inform you if you aren’t familiar with the time period. Our guide was very friendly and informative, and gave an excellent tour of the historical and haunted areas of Georgetown. Overall I would say this tour is a must in Georgetown for tourists who enjoy the paranormal!

This tour was very pleasant. Our guide, Scott, was very personable and made the stories enjoyable. I wouldn't consider it "scary", it was very tame compared to other ghost tours I have experienced. Bring some water and be prepared to walk up and downhill. The only downside was that the end point was about six blocks down from the meeting point, where the tour began and where we parked. They do advertise this clearly.

This was a great experience! Our guide Wayne was knowledgeable, friendly, and was a wonderful storyteller. The tour was fun, spooky, and ended on a high note, at the Exorcist steps. Guide Georgia was great.
As a long time resident of the DMV, about 95% of the info she provided was all new to us. Enjoyed the Tour very much particularly at this time of year with hordes of celebrating graduates on the streets of GT U. Very nice stories of ghosts and curses.
