This was a fantastic excursion. Charlie and Jennifer were so helpful and made everything very easy for a first time kayaker.

Kayaking to WW2 Bunkers

Great information about and tour of the bunkers. Fun kayaking! Good instruction and supervision on the water. Added bonus having planes take off and land right overhead and watching Coast Guard helicopter land and take off too. :-)

Altogether, it was a fun adventure.

Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the bunkers and why they were built. He provided us with waterproof pants and life vests before we left. The kayaking was about 30 minutes each way. This was fairly easy for 2 people in their 50's. The island was very easy to walk on but there was some bushwacking. Our guide helped out a lot. Altogether, it was a fun adventure.
