Our guide was Evee, she was great. She got us involved with rowing which added to the experience and told us interesting things about the area along the river. Very nice float with some rapids thrown it . We would definitely do it again!! Thanks Evee

We truly enjoyed our float down the Colorado River. Our guide, "Bubba" was so informative on the area and shared many stories. Because of the weather being cooler and some rain, we weren't able to swim. A must when in Moab.

Our Moab Afternoon Half-Day Wild to Mild Rafting Trip on the Colorado River was outstanding. The entire experience was well organized from start to finish, and the staff did an excellent job making everyone feel welcome and prepared.
The tour guides were fantastic at making the trip both fun and informative. They interacted with guests throughout the tour, kept everyone engaged, and created a great atmosphere on the raft. Gavin, our guide, was especially memorable. He was energetic, knowledgeable, and shared fascinating information about rafting, river ecology, local wildlife, and the history of the area. He also had some great stories that kept everyone entertained along the way.
Even though the river level was low and there was very little whitewater during our trip, the experience was still incredible. The scenery was breathtaking, the rafting was relaxing, and the time on the river was enjoyable from beginning to end. Our group ranged in age from the mid-30s to the mid-70s, and everyone had a great time.
If you're visiting Moab, this is a must-do experience. Whether you're looking for adventure, beautiful scenery, or a fun and informative day on the river, this trip delivers. Highly recommended!

the river was low due to lack of snow/rain but was nice. we jumped into one of the rapids which was alot of fun. our guide max was very good. he cared and it came through

🌊✨ Just got back from an adventure with Wild to Mild Moab, and while I have to admit I was a bit disappointed, I’m still giving this review 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our guide, GRIFFIN, was phenomenal, sharing tons of insights about the river and its surroundings. 🗺️👏 Plus, watching my son jump into the river twice was a highlight that made the trip even more enjoyable!
However, I was initially hesitant to go due to the "required extreme safety guidelines." To make matters worse, I was told that my cellphone with a waterproof case wasn’t necessary, which resulted in a lack of up-close pictures. 📸💔
The scenery was breathtaking, and the experience overall was enjoyable. But if you're planning a trip, I’d recommend bringing your camera anyway for those perfect shots and ask from GRIFFIN! 📍🚣♂️

Gavin did an outstanding job guiding and steering our boat. Very interactive and knowledgeable. Stand up comedian to accompany the tour was a special addition. Had us laughing and smiling the entire time.

Great way to escape the heat problem with numbering system on Kane Creek Drive for meetup point.( Right side of street is even so numbers are high , then left odd side numbers).

Mild to Wild was great, they were friendly, knowledgeable people who made sure we got reminders about what we should bring when to meet and what we should wear. Our guide Gavin was great! His knowledge of the river and history of the area made the trip very enjoyable.

Rafting guide Zach did a great job ensuring everyone including my kids had an amazing time. The tour included lots of relaxing floating time, helping cool everyone from the hot sun. The rapids are the right amount of thrill for my young children. Lastly we had a water cannon fight with multiple boats. I highly recommend the 1/2 day rafting adventure and give high praises to our guide Zach.

Max was an awesome guide. We absolutely loved everything about our experience on the river with him. Y’all are lucky to have him. The only reason for the 4 stars is we have to pay for the pictures taken. I get the photographer has to get paid however we paid decent money for our trip. Highly recommend bringing your phones and taking your own photos. Thankfully we did

The rafting is very tame. Don't expect a lot of whitewater. The guides were terrific, very knowledgeable and entertaining too.

The entire staff was professional. They ensured our safety and are medically trained. Our guide Seth was the best! He gave us water guns and we were able to come out victorious on every battle with the other mild to wild rafts. I would highly recommend this tour!

Cory was a wonderful guide on our raft trip on the Colorado. She was skilled, knowledgeable, and ensured that everyone—from young to old—had a great time. We saw eagles and heron on the river, and we even had a chance for a refreshing swim in the river. We highly recommend this trip with Mild to Wild.

Great experience with Cory. Spent perfect amount of time on river. Highly recommend tour. No previous rafting experience is necessary. Don't have to go swimming in river, but I'd recommend doing so. See some nice wildlife along the route. Rapids are nothing crazy (at least when I went).

It was more like a scenic float because not much snow melt this year but it was awesome. Irving was a great guide and was great with the kids.

There are no rapids in the half day trip. even on the best days, the guides say there are only # 1-2 rapids, very disappointing.

This is a very leisurely ride down the river, guide does 95% of the work. Great for sightseeing and taking pictures it not really a physical thing.

Wonderful day out on the river! We learned a lot and had a great time with our guides and the other guests. Our assigned guide was Larson, and he was very passionate and funny. Bald eagles, blue herons, oh my.

The river was really low at this time of the year, so it was more of a scenic tour. But the people in our amazing guide Luis made it all worthwhile! But the duckies looked really fun and I wish I would’ve done those instead :)

When your "Dadventure" schedule already includes death-defying swings and sunrise balloon flights, you figure it’s time to slow things down with a gentle float down the Colorado River. Smart move.
Mild to Wild nailed it. We drifted through Castle Valley like we were in a nature documentary, except with better snacks and zero risk of getting eaten by wildlife. The red rock towers looming over us were absolutely ridiculous — like someone gave Mother Nature a box of Legos and told her to go big. Every bend in the river brought another “whoa” moment.
Our guide, Tom, was the MVP of the day. The man knows his stuff. He kept us laughing while dropping nonstop facts about Moab’s geology, the river’s history, and why those giant rock formations look like they were designed by a very ambitious alien. Zero boring lecture vibes — just perfect mix of funny stories and cool info that actually stuck.
It was the ideal Dadventure breather: peaceful, scenic, and just floaty enough to make us feel like we earned a nap. No screaming, no white knuckles, just good conversation, epic views, and quality father-daughter time on the water.
If you’re in Moab and need a break from the adrenaline stuff, book this trip. Mild to Wild and Tom made it effortless and memorable.
10/10. Would drift again (probably right after the next Moab swing… once my heart rate recovers). 🛶🏞️😂
