It was a fun and easy rafting trip. Sean told great stories and pointed out the big horn sheep and bald eagle so we didn't miss them. Santo, his co-host was amazing too!
I have been white water rafting before and this was not white water rafting, it was a floating trip down the river in a raft. Our guide did her best but there was nothing to get excited about here. I was disappointed.

We understand the disappointment, especially if you’ve rafted higher-volume whitewater rivers before and arrived expecting a similar experience.
Unfortunately, this has been an exceptionally low-water year on the Colorado River. Drought conditions and limited snowpack have dramatically reduced the river flow, and at these levels the rapids on the Moab Daily section become much smaller and more mellow than they are at higher flows. We wish we could turn up the water, but Mother Nature is still in charge of that part of the operation.
We’re glad you recognized that your guide did her best. Even when the whitewater is limited, our goal is to provide a fun day on the Colorado River with great guides, paddling, swimming, incredible red rock scenery, and local knowledge along the way.
We appreciate the feedback and hope you’ll have a chance to experience this section again during a higher-water season—it can be a very different river.
Guides were friendly and informative. An enjoyable trip down the river. At a specific area along our way, they encouraged us to get out and swim in the river, which we did. The river was cold and I would encourage quick dry clothes.

Nothing wakes you up quite like a swim in the Colorado River!
We’re glad you enjoyed your river trip and that our guides kept things friendly and informative along the way. Getting out of the raft for a swim is one of our favorite ways to experience the Colorado River up close—although depending on the time of year, that first splash can definitely get your attention!
Great advice on the quick-dry clothing, too. Thanks for choosing Paddle Moab for your river adventure!
Loved the experience! Had an awesome tour guide named Santos! Very informative and funny! Would recommend

Great information and a few laughs along the way—that’s a pretty good recipe for a day on the Colorado River!
We’re glad Santo made your Moab river adventure both fun and informative. He has a knack for mixing local knowledge, Colorado River history, and humor without making it feel like you accidentally signed up for a classroom lecture.
Thanks for adventuring with Paddle Moab and for the recommendation. We’ll pass the kind words along to Santo!
We had so much fun!!! This was a very very easy ride down the river. It was nice to just float down and learn more about Moab. Lauri, was our guide and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable, super cool guy. Had great conversations. Our fav part was jumping out and riding through the rapids with our life vest.
Great time. River was low but we knew that going into it. Jayden kept us entertained the entire time. We had fun, learned some and stayed cool.
Give that girl the parking spot!
Amazing! River was rocky, but calm, a lot of history & site seeing from the river was better than being on top of the world! Shayan was great! A lot of funny stories but still a lot of historical stories!
Wonderful experience on the Colorado River! Our guides Kenny and Shaun were very personable and excellent at navigating the water. We were able to swim at various points and also float the rapids at a safely designated spot. Truly enjoyed and would highly recommend to all families looking for a great time rafting on the river in Moab!
Shawn was a great guide. Fantastic experience!
We were well prepared, had lots of opportunities to swim, heard about local history along the river, and a couple of tall tales.
Overall, this was what our party expected with respect to level of difficulty (level 1 at the time) on the river. River was low at this time but was still a fun time with the staff.
Nathan and Jayden were great guides.
We had Nathan on our raft and he provided and very good experience for our party of four.
Our guide, Kenny, was fantastic. He kept us safe, pointed out wildlife, and told us about local history and movies filmed in the area. We had a great time!
Great way to spend an afternoon! Our guide, Kelsey, did a wonderful job, and the sights were beautiful. The rapids were rather tame, so it was more of a leisurely ride down the river. And we had a lot of smoke in the area due to southern fires, so visibly wasn’t ideal. But regardless it was a great experience!
Paddle Moab provided an awesome experience! Highly recommend them! Great group of people❤️ we jumped out of the raft at a certain spot and swam through the rapids, a blast !!! And Kenny got us all back in the raft with ease!!!
The guides were great and very personable. They were very knowledgeable about the area and made sure everyone was safe and having fun. The Colorado river was so nice and fun to float in however, the rapids could have been a little bigger like class 3.
We opted for a smaller business because we like fewer people and personalized service. That’s exactly what we got! Santos was absolutely fantastic! He gave us a lot of history of the area and the river AND history on the wildlife. We loved his office! He recommended a couple of places for lunch. We chose Spit Fire and it was also excellent! We will definitely recommend this outfitter and this guide. Santos, you have a couple of beers on me, waiting for you at Spit Fire!
Easy intro ride with our kids. River was super low and slow this year due to drought so not very wild. There was a sweet section where they let us swim the rapids. Never got to do that on a white water rafting trip before! Our guide Larry and Sandy the lead made it super fun by adding water guns and a water battle to the ride. There were bald eagles and blue herons making it extra special.
Jayden was amazing and informative. She was awesome to talk to! She gave information on the river and on the road. 10/10 recommend.
Sandy made our afternoon rafting trip so much fun! Great way to beat the heat in 100 degrees. My teenage boys loved swimming in the Colorado River! Great trip, highly recommend.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Sandy was very good, highly recommended. Good first time experience.
This was my first time in Moan, Utah and my experience has been amazing. The scenery was beautiful and rafting was relaxed and chill. I would definitelt recommend this to amyone that loves great view and to be out in the water.
Sean, Jayden and the whole team provided a very fun family white water rafting experience. The class I-II rapid were good starter rapids for our kids. Sean shared a lot of funny stories and lore, all of which was entertaining even if not 100% true! We felt safe the entire time and had a really enjoyable day on the Colorado River!
Our experience was once in a lifetime! Our guide was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and told great stories!
Beautiful experience the guide was top. Peaceful and satisfying experience with beautiful rapids on the Colorado River
