Your tour will begin on Pearson Street (off Michigan Avenue), where you will board your coach vehicle. On board, an experienced guide narrates during your tour of Chicago’s famed criminal and historical sights. Listen to thrilling stories of mobsters, violence and crime as your coach winds through Chicago’s historic River North, Gold Cost, Lincoln Park, Old Town, Loop and Magnificent Mile. Snap pictures and enjoy little-known tales of legendary mobsters Al Capone, ‘Terrible’ Tommy O’Conner, and Bugs Moran.
Your mafia tour highlights Chicago’s most notorious crime scenes, including the courthouse where some of the most famed mob cases were tried, and the site of the grisly 1929 St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. Other notorious mob haunts you do a drive-by on are the Biograph Theater and Holy Name Cathedral. (Along the way, you can hop out of your ride for pictures.) When it's all over, you'll get a ride back to the Near North Side to end the tour.

- There is no onsite office.
- Bus has five (5) steps and some stops off of the bus include stairs. Bus is NOT equipped with an electronic lift. There is limited storage available for a folding wheelchair or stroller.
- Audio and video recording and services are not permitted without the express written consent of Chicago Crime Tours and Experiences.
- Kindly refrain from talking or translating on the bus during the tour.

Our tour guide was very well informed and did a great job telling the stories; however, there really wasn’t much to actually see (in my opinion).

That was fun!! Jays (the guide) was hilarious. The folks we were with learned some stuff they didnt know and they live in Chicago! Bus was full, get there early. Worth it.

Really interesting trip with lots of additional history & a great look around central Chicago as well- although the rain was a pain for making the windows difficult to see out of! Our tour guide & bus driver were great

Unfortunately the bus broke down less than half way round, we were left to make our own way back to the start by taxi
Meh. Drove around a bus. Listened to the Guide make cheesy jokes and ramble a lot. Did not see many important sites. Probably better to learn about this topic at Harry Caray’s museum for free!
This tour was entertaining and informative. Sophia was a pleasure. Her presentation was professional and fun! We had a great time!

It is a tour regarding crime in the Chicago area. Interesting facts, but general, surface level facts. It was a little more light hearted than I was ready for. Almost slap stick. Overall, our tour guide was nice and attentive, but would not do this tour again, nor recommend it to someone who is interested in mob/crime.

I have taken several Viator tours, and they NEVER disappoint! The Mob and Crime Tour was no exception! Jay possesses an impressive knowledge on the subject, and the presentation was balanced to provide people with limited knowledge of Chicago history a good foundation in the subject, yet offered plenty of specific, anecdotal, and trivial facts to further inform and educate guests familiar with "the players" and events of crime in Chicago. The pacing of the presentation was excellent, and information was delivered in an entertaining and interesting way. Jay was quite skillful at adjusting the presentation to coincide with sites as the bus was driving by. I appreciated the fact that participants were able to leave the bus at the Biograph Theater to spend a little time rather than just driving by. That was a highlight of the tour! All of my other Viable tours have been walking tours -- this was my first bus tour. The bus was clean and comfortable and the driver did a great job navigating traffic -- way to go, Tommy! Jay & Tommy make a great team, and did their very best to make the tour fun & informative. Thanks to both of you for a great tour! I highly recommend this tour --you won't be sorry!

Was excited about this tour. Unfortunately, after boarding the bus, the tour was canceled as the expected guide was unavailable. We were promply given contact info for reschedule or refund.
Still would recommend and i would be willing to rebook if i visit again.

Our first time in Chicago and my daughter really wanted to see the crime tour. We had an amazing time driving thru Chicago and listing to the stories. We stopped in 3 locations and was able to get out of the bus and explore. See the actual "crime scene"
We did it on Sunday morning, so traffic and places were not as crowded. TOTALLY WORTH IT

1000% recommend & if Jamie is your tour guide, it will be EXTRA awesome!!!! My husband loves mob history so I surprised him with a theme day completed with sitting in Al Capone’s booth at Exchequer and drinks for great jazz at Green Mill Lounge…take the tour, get off of the bus & take pics! Very good low-effort tour. Basically, they just drive you around for two hours, and you get off the bus a couple of times and look at a few things, but really, it's more of a lecture experience. The tour guide was great. It just felt like there wasn't a lot that was covered. It's great for people that might be older and don't really feel like walking or standing much, because 90% of the tour is seated on the bus.

Pick up location was easy to find. The bus was spotless. The driver safe.
Jay our tour guide was very funny, friendly and experienced. She knew her facts about the gangsters and the serial killers.
It was a great tour and would be a crime to miss it !!
