The self guided tour at the Ryman Auditorium was great. It’s a must see if you are visiting Nashville. The short film at the beginning gives a good summary about the origin of the Ryman, the history and who has played there. It took about an hour to walk through on our own. The photo on stage at the end of the tour is a fun idea and a great souvenir.

Most often I have found that the tour guide is the determining factor in whether a tour is worthwhile. We were fortunate to have Big Jerry as our guide. He was a wealth of information about Nashville and he ably shared that with us. Both the Ryman Auditorium and the Country Music Hall of Fame were excellent, although we could have used more time at the later.

With admission to the Ryman and the Country Music Hall of fame (including insider tips on how to navigate them), this was a great value for the money. A great way to see the city for a solo traveller!
