Love love loved it!!!!
This excursion was AMAZING!!
we were there in late September/early October 2025 the weather and views were spectacular!!!
We prefer doing this excursion over the white horse pass train because the train doesn’t stop.
Our guide was more than informative, he offered to take our pics so we wouldn’t have to do selfies :)

Great photo stops.
The tour guide was easy to find when we got off the cruise ship. We were glad we chose this instead of the train. The photo stops were so beautiful. Also getting to take our photo with the welcome to Alaska sign was a big bonus. We have visited all 49 states and Alaska was our last to get to. Connor was a great tour guide.

Gorgeous Ride
My favorite tour of my first Alaska experience. Our female bus driver (don't remember her name) was very knowledgeable and gave a very good presentation during the entire ride. Might add she loved her job. She stopped the bus at request (by me) which was a good idea because the sun was out only at certain times and we would have had fog and drizzle otherwise. This gave customers a great opportunity to take gorgeous pictures. Highly recommend this tour. Traveled end of Sept. and our ship was the last of the season. Note: Talked to several about the train and it doesn't stop but all said the views were beautiful as well.

Great tour
We are really glad we chose this tour and Chris our guide was so engaging and funny he made the whole experience informative and fun. He not only gave us lots of information about the area but took time to take our photos for us so that we could all be in them.

Sled Dog Team
This was great!!!! Before you even see the dogs, the ride up the mountain in the Unimog was fun!! Then you get to the dogs. Walking in with four teams ready to go, all of them yipping and barking was awesome!!! The ride with them truly showed their power and stamina. Sixteen dogs pulled us. Talia was our musher and went on to explain about the amount of care that goes into taking care of a team that big, and she owns all 16. She was kind enough to not only take our picture in the cart but went on to take many close ups of her dogs too. That was a nice surprise. She even helped me get my book ‘signed’ when we got back to camp by one of the team. I am grateful for that! Then there were the puppies, that was the line that had me sold on this whole excursion. Cuddle time with the puppies was great. They didn’t disappoint. All in all, it was great and I recommend it. I could have done with less stops to view the scenery and a few more minutes meeting the team and holding the puppies, especially since you have to share with others.

The beautiful scenery is only beat by the hilarious guide
Excellent tour with beautiful views and cute pups. Note that this tour starts with a long ride, but you won’t mind it because it’s full of stunning scenery all narrated by a talented and charismatic guy named Noah! The sled dog camp is very interesting and seeing and “petting” dogs that love to work is a joy. Definitely worth the time and money!

Great tour with beautiful scenery
Beautiful scenery. Plenty of opportunities to get some beautiful pictures. We had a small group and Monica was our driver. She was awesome and shared a lot of history with us. She also knew some great places to stop so we could get some good photos. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially if you’re not able to walk long distances. It’s a very easy tour.

Great day thanks to “Hawkins”
We had a wonderful time on a foggy trip up the pass. You never know what the weather will be in Skagway. Hawkins (Daniel) our guide had a great sense of humor and kept things light and fun the whole way. He was able to read the weather and as a result we passed a couple points on the way up that were too foggy, allowing time to stop on the way back down when they had cleared. Suspension Bridge was fun to see and cross over on foot. Waterfalls were beautiful, watching the train come through the mountains was amazing. Looked like a toy in the vast wilderness. Lots of great stories, we even got to prank our sister with good hearted jest and Hawkins assistance. Our trip was on Sept. 9, 2025 Highly Recommend

As many said here, better than the expensive train!!
So I booked this tour thinking that it was the Train tour. Well well… it turned out that this minibus options were beyond better than taking the train. They took us to a historic tour in the city then we went to the mountains (same as those with the train) what makes this tour great is that they visit many places that the train can’t and also you will be stopping at the best views for pictures. We even crossed to Canada wow! Water Falls, lakes on top of the mountains, welcome to Alaska sign, city view from over the mountains, all of that included! I am happy of having made the mistake of booking this option :)

A Beautiful Day in the Yukon
The Yukon is beautiful, and this tour was a great way to see it. On every turn you would see a picturesque moment and fortunately the tour included many stops along the way so you could take those pictures. The bus was very comfortable, and we had 20 people on the tour so there was plenty of room for comfort.
Andrew was our tour guide, and he was very informative and funny. Also, he played the harmonica very well which seemed to act like the Pied Piper because when he started playing everyone would head back to the bus.

I am beyond glad we...
I am beyond glad we decided to do this private tour over the railroad excursions. Joe, our tour guide, was more knowledgeable than I anticipated (especially since he was not from Skagway!) and took us to some beautiful photo spots. His photography skills and attitude were outstanding and I will be blowing up one of the photos he took during our trip that truly looks like something from a movie or a postcard! We enjoyed the pace and being in a small group kept it much more personal feeling. It was overall just a wonderful experience and a great way to see the great pass and visit the boarder/suspension bridge.

Great tour with a fun group
The chances of spotting wildlife always vary but we saw 3 black bears 2 bald eagle young kings and about a dozen mountain goats.
The scenery is spectacular.
I was expecting to be disappoint d at the stop at Carcross but the food was good and the taxidermy display is worth seeing. Oh - and cute husky puppies!
A good tour guide makes a difference - Kenton was witty, knowledgeable and kept us laughing almost the entire way.
