It is a small group tour...

It is a small group tour in a comfortable van. Our guide Sue has an extensive knowledge of the island and of Hawaiian history and culture. We had plenty of stops for restroom and photos. The lunch was good (wraps with chicken and with fish), and it was served at a spot with a nice view. I enjoyed this tour very much.

Best Road to Hana tour I have been on

This is the 4th or 5th Road to Hana Tour that I have been on. Sue Hopkins was our guide and I don't think she repeated anything that I had heard on any previous tour. She was knowledgeable about the geology, vulcanic action, plants, trees, native wildlife and much more. She was a fantastic guide and we had a great time in spite of having to deal with rain!

Perfect Road to Hana Tour! Comfortable, perfect stops and amazing guide

So worth it!!! We had originally planned to drive the road ourselves, but then a couple days before we were like “that sounds stressful, let’s just book at tour”. Our concern, though, was the stress and discomfort of being on a 18 passenger transport van with a bunch of random people for 10 hours. And we really wanted to see the lava tube cave, and most other tours didn’t offer that. This tour was perfect!!! It was an eight passenger luxury van, so it was us, two other couples and the guide. Everyone had their own padded captains chair. It was very comfortable! And our tour guide Scott was the best! Not only super knowledgeable and fun, but he knew all the good picture spots and was a master with Apple and Android phones and took some really great photos of us. Using techniques we don’t normally use on our phones. He really took great care of us. He even squeegeed the windows at one stop after it had rained a little so we could see out of the windows better. Couldn’t have booked a better Road to Hana tour or a better guide. Got to see everything we wanted (cave, black sands beach, turtles, waterfalls, roadside stands, etc), but did it comfort with just two other great couples. Highly recommend!!! And ask for Scott, he was the best.
