What are people saying about Anchorage

Great service
Our driver, Kevin, was very accommodating. The tunnel had just turned red so first we had a brief drive through Whittier with a stop at a building with some historic pictures. On the way to Anchorage we stopped on the side of the road to see a mother moose with her 2 babies. It was great. After several other stops and time to drop people off at their hotels, we asked if we could be last because we were going to the airport and the flight wasn’t until 8. Kevin was great. He took us to the float plane area that’s not too far from the airport so we could see all the float planes parked there. So we didn’t have to sit around the airport for very long at all.

Great way to see Alaska
Our full-day tour was wonderful. Only a few of us were scheduled for that specific day so Tim was able to share lots of information about the various areas that we visited. He knew quite a bit about the history of Alaska, both recent and of years passed which was very interesting to those of us who have never visited Alaska before. The scenery was fantastic and Tim spotted animals in the wild that we surely would have missed on our own. We would definitely recommend this tour for newbies to the area.

Best way to spend a day
Perfect way to orient yourself in to Anchorage and the surrounding areas, I am terrible with names but my tour guide, I believe Mark was his name, was very good. Kept everything flowing and didn't rush. We stopped at a restaurant call Basecamp, dam really good food, not super expensive like you would think about in Alaska. Two thumbs up

The guided glacier tour...
The guided glacier tour is suitable for a wide range of abilities with some steeper parts. We were provided with crampons and you do not necessarily need snow boots. There was little wind I felt fine without a hat. The honey and wine were a delicious treat after about 2 hrs of walking/hiking on the glacier. For ice cave experience I would wait for June/July:
