Our family consisted of 5 members from ages 15 months to 74 years old. We booked a private tour and our guide was Caleb. This adventure was a great experience for our first full day in Alaska.
The weather was outstanding. Caleb was full of Alaska information and knowledgeable and eager to answer all our questions. The most appreciated part of the tour was Caleb's flexibility in tweets during the tour and easy going nature. I would highly recommend this adventure.

While our tour guide was great, we missed out on several parts of the tour (dogs were not at the sledding place) and the stop for lunch felt forced. It was great to see so much outside of Anchorage, but would have liked to stay on track and seen everything the tour had promised.
This was one of my favorite tours. Saw reindeer farm. Ate in Palmer, then went to hatchers pass. Absolutely beautiful there. Would have liked to walk around abandoned mine, but we did not do that. Jeff our guide was ok, but I wasn’t a fan of his stories and dry sense of humor. Being from florida, I took offense to a story he told about a group from Florida in the past he had an experience with. Just felt he was labeling and judging all Floridians as ignorant.

Our excursion to the reindeer farm, dog sledding, and Hatcher Pass with Jeff was an incredible experience from start to finish. Jeff was knowledgeable, personable, and kept the energy high all day long. It was a truly great day on every level!
The driver was awesome, very friendly and informative. It was definitely worth the cost, got to learn about anchorage and Alaska in general!

Be prepared for whatever weather throws at you! We had rain and fog but it was still the mist amazing tour! The tour guide Stephanie had a huge part in that! She was fanastic

If you are fortunate enough to have a tour guide like Jeff, you’ll have a great time. Jeff was enthusiastic and entertaining! His vast knowledge of the history of the area was impressive! The places where we stopped during the tour were amazing!

What a fantastic experience! Don, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area’s history, people, and land, making every stop interesting and meaningful. He regularly checked in with the group to make sure guests were seeing and experiencing what mattered most to them. Personable, engaging, and easy to talk with. Don had a great sense of humor that kept the entire experience fun. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an informative, personalized, and memorable adventure!

Truly an amazing trip. Would highly recommend for all persons looking to see some of Alaska's beauty; Don was an exceptional guide and had answers for any and all questions posed.
Our driver and tour guide Don was not only very pleasant but extremely knowledgeable about the places we were visiting. He showed up on time, and showed great care and concern for guests during the tour. The van was very clean and well stocked with bottled water and snacks. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Don as the tour guide.

Great tour! Reindeer Farm was pretty cool. Got to feed so many different animals, which I didn’t expect. The guided tour was informative.
Hatcher’s Pass was stunning as were the other stops along the way. Iditarod Trail was an unexpected surprise and experiencing a very short dog ride. Tour guide Stephanie was sweet and accommodating. Excellent tour! Highly recommended

Guide was wonderful quite knowledgeable and so easy to understand everything he stopped at various sites with hidden secrets was awesome go on this tour you will truly enjoy
What a fun day this was!! The scenery was amazing, and the animals were freaking adorable. It was such an amazing day all around and the perfect way to kick off our trip to Alaska. Highly recommended, and Davis was a FANTASTIC host and guide!

Ended up having a private tour with Davis and had a great experience! The Reindeer Farm was so much fun and even tho an avalanche in Hatcher’s Pass limited how far we could drive, we still were able to go quite a ways up the pass and enjoy the amazing views and the snow! Davis was very knowledgeable and created a wonderful day for us!

Our tour guide Davis was excellent. My 14 yr old daughter and I were the only ones who booked this experience. Instead of canceling, he went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. We went way up to Hatcher Pass, the views were incredible. The actual Pass was closed for the season, so we did some other exploring on the mountain. After we came back to Anchorage he went out of his way to take us to a spot were we could see Denali in the distance! It was a super clear day, it was excellent. We had a great time thanks to him, I'm so glad he didn't cancel on us.

Our guide said few people take this tour. We are so glad we made time for it. The reindeer farm is interesting, but the real highlight is the views. Most day trips out of Anchorage go around Turnagain Arm. This tour goes north, offering a completely different experience. We saw stunning tundra and mountains instead of rainforest and coastline. Our guide clearly knows and loves the area. This was one of our favorite days. Don't miss the chance to see a beautiful and fascinating part of Alaska.

Good amount of destinations.
Could of been more informative.
My wife and I would of like to have been informed a little more about Alaska History, landmarks, culture, weather, including Alaskan Native inhabitants.
Food was good, drinks - need variety and a few options.

Really enjoyed this tour. Welcome Anchorage Tours customer service is excellent and were amazing when I had to change my pick up address at the last minute. Elizabeth, our guide, was great and very accommodating. I really enjoyed the reindeer farm and would definitely recommend.
We had Brooks as a guide, he is very knowledgeable about the area and history and he has a very accommodating and engaging personality. The tour itself was very informative and seeing the animals up close was fun!

Dress in layers and wear good walking shoes. Have sunglasses ready. There are many opportunities for pictures and you will have time to get good views and not be rushed.

We had the most amazing time with Caleb as our guide. He was fantastic and made our day. As it turned out, most of the advertised itinerary was not doable. Probably due to the early date of our scheduled tour. However, Caleb more than made up for the changes. He was knowledgeable, energetic and enthusiastic. It turned out to be the best day of our Alaskan cruise shore experience.
