Do it!!
2 adults and 2 teens. This was a fantastic experience!! The van comfortably seated about 12 people. The entire tour was well narrated and the guide was extremely knowledgeable. The ski resort had views that were incredible. The food at the rooftop deli was very good. The trails at the top were snowed over but there was a small ropes off section for the kids to play in and throw snowballs. The conservation area was great. We saw 3 brown bears and 2 black bears as well as several other native Alaskan animals. The whole area was surrounded by beautiful snow capped mountains that had us in awe. On the way back, we pulled over to see a moose grazing near the side of the road. We did this tour to be an easy day after very long flights into Alaska. It was perfect. Very relaxing but worth every penny for the views and animal viewing. Even my teenagers said it was a great tour and they’d do it again!!

Great way to see Alaska
Our full-day tour was wonderful. Only a few of us were scheduled for that specific day so Tim was able to share lots of information about the various areas that we visited. He knew quite a bit about the history of Alaska, both recent and of years passed which was very interesting to those of us who have never visited Alaska before. The scenery was fantastic and Tim spotted animals in the wild that we surely would have missed on our own. We would definitely recommend this tour for newbies to the area.

Perfect day!
This hike was perfect! I ended up being the only person signed up so paid the extra for a private guided hike. The guide, Todd, was super knowledgeable and shared a lot of knowledge about everything. I had a great time and it was more like hiking with a friend than a stranger. The hikes were peaceful and the views were amazing. I would definitely do this again and would recommend it!

Wonderful way to spend the day in the Anchorage area.
It is very relaxing. The city of Anchorage part of the tour was more thorough than expected and very informational. The portion of the trip south toward Whittier was filled with beautiful mountains and scenery the entire way. Mark, our guide, was informative, easy going, and just a great guy all the way around. He was patient with all of our many questions and it was obvious he wanted us to see and appreciate this beautiful part of the country he loves so much. We were blessed to get close up views of a moose in the wild as well as a bald eagle. The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center was a great part of the day and much better than I thought it would be. The tour exceeded my expectations. I would recommend it to anyone who appreciates mountains, beautiful scenery, and wildlife. Great job Mark…well done! It was an A+, 5 star day!

Anchorage is surrounded by beauty and possibility on all sides (yes, even the water). Visitors here must carve out time to explore the city, as day trips from Anchorage are nearly endless—and endlessly tempting. Think glacier-viewing and climbing, catching the northern lights, walking through a rainforest, sighting bears and moose, and so much more. Nearby national parks also make great Anchorage day trips, as do quaint gold-rush towns and backcountry trails. If it involves spectacular nature, it’s possible in a day from Anchorage.
