What are people saying about Tokyo

Fantastic value for the...
Fantastic value for the money! They really show you as much as they can in a one day trip. From the lakeside view of Mt Fuji to the Japanese village with 8 ponds, to the shrine amd park in Fujiyoshida, as well as the Lawson Mt Fuji photo op - there is something for everyone. I really appreciated the crystal clear communication from the tour organizer as.soon as I booked the trip. I received a Whatsapp message with clear instructions about how to meet and photos of where to find my fabulous tour guide Taiyo. He had clear instructions for each stop along the way with helpful information amd local history. He was very friendly with a great personality. He was an excellent tour guide of a large group of people. He even gave us good tips on when amd where to use the bathroom, and what ice cream flavors he recommended at lunch. The lunch spot was a good value for the money. Excellent quality amd quantity of fried chicken plate with rice, salad, soup and pickled veggies. My other half ordered the wagyu beef and was very pleased. I would definitely recommend this tour. We come from Colorado so the stairs to the shrine and pagoda in Fujiyoshida weren't too bad. (It was a good workout!) If we ever bring our family we will definitely rebook!

Unforgettable Mt. Fuji Experience with Erik! 🗻❤️
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Unforgettable Mt. Fuji Tour with Erik! Our trip to Mt. Fuji was truly one of the most amazing experiences of our entire visit to Japan, and a huge part of that was because of our wonderful guide, Erik! From the beginning to the end, Erik was absolutely fantastic. He was kind, friendly, patient, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. He made us feel comfortable and welcome from the very first moment. The views of Mt. Fuji were breathtaking, but what made the day even more special was the way Erik guided us through the experience. He shared interesting information, helped us enjoy every stop without feeling rushed, and made the entire day fun and memorable. Traveling with my son, I especially appreciated how attentive and thoughtful he was with both of us. You can tell that Erik doesn't simply do this as a job — he truly wants his guests to have an incredible experience and leave Japan with beautiful memories. And that is exactly what he gave us. ❤️🇯🇵🗻 If you are planning a Mt. Fuji tour, ask for Erik! I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is the kind of guide you remember long after your vacation is over. Thank you, Erik, for giving us such a special day and memories that my son and I will treasure forever. This was truly a highlight of our trip to Japan! 10/10 — absolutely recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Unforgettable Mt. Fuji Experience with Erik! 🗻❤️

Loved it, 100% Recommend
Loved it! Very good host Tim and Emma. Amazing views at the traditional village, lakes, shrine and pogoda view point of Mount Fuji, started off very wet and windy at the village but we got very lucky with the weather in the end at the view point with stunning views of Mount Fuji.

A Wonderful Tour
The trip to Mt. Fuji and Hakone was wonderful despite not actually seeing the peak of Mt. Fuji (too cloudy/rainy). Our guide, Aya, was knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. It was a bonus to hear historical facts about Japan and its culture from her. The buffet lunch was also good but my favorite part was getting to ride on the bullet train on the way back to Tokyo. My family - my wife and I and our three teenagers - would heartily recommend this tour for others.

When you need a break from big, modern Tokyo, look to its neighboring areas, which are more traditional and natural and offer a different perspective on Japan. A Tokyo day trip gets you out of the city—whether for a couple of hours or the full day. Travel through the surrounding countryside by private car, bus, or even the super-fast bullet train, to fit more into your day. Visit UNESCO-listed temples and shrines or admire the views of iconic mountains further afield, or focus on Tokyo's outer suburbs.
