What are people saying about Tokyo

Not to be missed
We loved dressing up in the kimonos and you get to pick your own outfit in colours which suit you. You are allowed to keep the kimono after the ceremony has finished to walk around the local area and take photos which my teenagers were thrilled about. The ceremony itself was educational and we learned the traditions and why they are followed such as why you turn the tea bowl certain directions. Our host was very elegant and spoke excellent English. Group size was maximum of 10 people so small and intimate so you could ask questions. We have had many compliments on the photos we have taken and shared.

Favorite part of my Japan trip!
An unforgettable experience and a absolute highlight of my trip to Japan! The tea master was an absolute expert—so kind and exceptional at explaining the four beautiful principles and philosophy behind the tea ceremony. Getting to taste premium matcha and seasonal wagashi, whisk my own tea using authentic utensils, and wear a kimono made for a perfect afternoon. The comfortable table seating was a great touch, and our guide went above and beyond to help me take great photos in the kimono. Highly recommended!

Great Experience
We thoroughly enjoyed our sushi making experience which included the history and practical preparation. It was easy to find and full instructions were provided.
The instructors were knowledgeable and engaging. We had the opportunity to meet and speak with other participants and travellers which was fantastic.
Highly recommended.

A delicious family friendly ramen and gyoza cooking class
We had a wonderful time at this ramen and gyoza cooking class with my family! The chef and staff were incredibly friendly and made everyone feel welcome from the start. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, even for those of us with limited cooking experience, and the food we made turned out absolutely delicious!
A special touch that really stood out was that they generously shared the recipe with us so we can recreate the dishes once we're back home. It was a fun, hands-on experience for the whole family, and we'd highly recommend this class to anyone visiting the area looking for something memorable to do together.

A Memorable Cooking Experience in Tokyo
My two teenage daughters and I attended the wagyu sukiyaki class and had an amazing time. We learned about local ingredients and techniques, and even learned some historical and cultural facts as well. Our dishes were delicious and we were pleased that we were able to produce such beautiful masterpieces. Thank our for the experience.

This is hands down my...
This is hands down my favorite cooking class and i’ve taken 5 at this point. The teachers Eric and Jay were amazing, it was clear that they knew exactly what they were doing. Their instructions were clear and to the point with great explanations. The class itself was hard work but it was very rewarding and organized. I would absolutely take this class again and would recommend others to take it if they want a real Japanese ramen making experience, just be prepared to work.

Wonderful and cute bento making class!
We had a great time learning how to make cute bento! Our instructor was patient and funny. Our bento looked cute and tasted great in the end! We made panda bento, but they gave us a choice of a cute frog or a cute dog. Make sure you check the messages from the vendor before the class so you can choose. I missed the message and we ended up with a random choice, but no regrets as the panda were really cute!
The nearby Hie Shrine was also a nice visit afterwards.

The location was easy to...
The location was easy to find and the hosts were very friendly with good English. The introduction was informative, cooking with PowerPoint was innovative.
We started off making gyoza which were delicious. The chef took the lead in making the ramen but as there was a lot of pre-preparation that was ok as the food was great.
Overall it was a great experience, finished off with same sake.

Yusei made our day!
Yusei was our tour guide and he was great! I'm so glad we had him to take us around and point out specific items to try. Otherwise we may not have ended up trying as many new things, or would have ended up in long lines unnecessarily. Don't eat breakfasts before this tour! You will eat quite a bit along the way.

Great host and great sake
First, I must compliment the host of this tasting. Joe was cool, funny, and knowledgeable. He knew everything you could ever want to know about sake, from how it’s made to the best places to buy in Japan. He made the experience enjoyable. The sake was tasty and we tried several different varieties with different profiles. You definitely don’t get cheated with the amount sake.

I didn't eat sushi but now I do
I am someone who did not eat sushi but after this class I do. The chef is really good and his skills are admirable. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. The host is also very knowledgeable and English speaking, he translate for the chef. The staff was very helpful and I had one laughing because I put too much wasabi on one of mines and I swear my eyes popped out my head but I could breath better lol. I was a little nervous about eating raw fish but it was delicious. Definitely will do again when I go back with a group.
