This was such an amazing adventure. We’re so glad we did it. Tony was an awesome guide who kept us well informed all the way. The entire trip was well orchestrated and we saw some beautiful scenery, including a tea plantation. The tea museum was a great stop, very informative. Then the tea ceremony to finish off was really impressive. We learned a lot about tea and taste. There were opportunities to purchase the teas we tasted. James was an interesting and informative guide. Always checking to ensure i was comfortable. The views from up high in the hills was amazing. The Juifen tea houses and market were interesting. In the summer months you should bring a sunshade (umbrella)- its surprisingly hot.

Amazing Experience!

Our tour guide, Steven was great! He checked in the day prior, was on time the next day. Safe driver and went at our pace. Every stop was truly special. We visited during the Autumn New Moon festival so every place was PACKED. But we made the most of it. The last city (Jiufren), although a bit strenuous was worth all the stairs. The sunset view is breathtaking.

A fun way to experience the beauty of Taiwan!

The trip was great! We were picked up from our hotel and met up with the rest of the group on Monday morning. There were about 28 people in our group and our guide Ciao and driver Eason did a fantastic job of showing us around the entire island and navigating winding and mountainous roads. It's a great opportunity to see different regions of Taiwan beyond Taipei. There are some days that involve walking uphill but there are always alternative options. The lodging is great. Recommend bringing some cash but most hotels and convenience stores have ATMs.

Pauline was a great tour...

Pauline was a great tour guide. I was impressed as she did everything in English, Mandarin, and Japanese throughout the day. This is a long day, Pauline gives you history at each stop, and more importantly calls out which food vendors to try and which ones to skip. Would definitely recommend this tour if Pauline is in charge!

Great tour

This was a private tour, actually I was the only one in the tour. Caleb was my tour guide and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable about sites, history and everything in-between. Taroko gorge is amazing and we visited as much as was possible given the construction repairs after the earthquake (about 3 years ago). I highly recommend it!
