Day Trip from Taipei

Danny was amazing! We had an incredible day even with the rain, exploring the Geo Park, hiking to waterfalls, exploring towns like Shifen and Jiufen. Thoroughly enjoyed our day including the very authentic Taiwanese lunch and the oolong tea in the afternoon with Danny. Highly recommend this outing and ask for Danny!

A good food tour

Dave was a considerate tour guide and we had twelve tasting including a tea. The dishes were the following. He was able to accommodate nut and seafood allergy from two guests. We had 12 people. A large group - pork blood cake. Not as bad as it sounds - braised pork rice with braised tofu and green veggie on the side - stinky tofu very tame - grass jelly tea - gua bao with pork belly - wheel pie with custard cream - scallion cake too oily - cooked in same oil as shrimp cakes. So no good for my daughter with seafood allergy - peanut roll with ice cream - sweet potato balls - airy mochi balls - tiny shot of Chinese liquor - 38% alcohol. Nice finish and surprise Overall a nice walk around dihua neighborhood and end in ningxia market $50 a person is a bit pricey since the food probably only cost about $10-12 total but it’s nice to meet people from Australia, England and America and hear a little explanation of the food and also stop by a temple in the middle. He also lead us to fairly clean bathroom during tour. Very helpful since I had to go twice. Overall we liked it

Vincent is a great and entertaining guide. In spite of the rain, we found the tour fun, engaging and safe for seniors. He easily conversed with my parents and friends who joined the tour. Vincent also made arrangements to make the day more special because it was my mothers birthday. Overall one of the best tours we had. Looking forward for the next time we visit Taipei.

Great views and awesome selfie shots of the locations. Great energy, knowledge, a lot of history brought by our wonderful guide, Hicks Wang. He was the best tour guide, one could have! He knew best spots to hit up based on his experiences and amazing food like fried rice stuffed in a deboned chicken wing and peanut ice cream! A must-do tour while in Taipei

This was an absolutely wonderful tour and one of the highlights of my time in Taiwan. The incredible Yehliu Geopark amazed us with its unique rock formations, while Jiufen Old Street captivated us with its colourful shops, market atmosphere, and spectacular ocean views. The lantern experience at Shifen Old Street was truly memorable, and Shifen Waterfall was absolutely stunning. Everything was well organised, and we had plenty of time to enjoy each destination. Be warned, there’s plenty of walking and a lot of steps in some areas. It’s worth it though! Bring an umbrella in case it rains or even as shelter for the heat. A special thank you to our tour guide, Jenny, who was efficient, friendly, and highly informative throughout the day. Our driver also did an excellent job, keeping everything running smoothly and on schedule. All in all, this was a fantastic tour that exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taiwan.

Great way to see the city in one day

This was a great tour and allowed us to cover a lot ground and get ourselves oriented in Taipei. We hit all of the major landmarks and learned about the history of Taiwan and Taipei. A great way to explore Taiwan

A wonderful way to explore Taiwan outside of Taipei. Alan was the best guide you could ask for. He was extremely funny and had great recommendations and fun facts about everywhere we went. The hotels were comfortable and some of them had hot springs available, which was a big bonus.

Tea tasting and scenic views

Casual drive through the mountains just south of Taipei. Saw local tea fields over looking the thousand island lake. Guide was helpful, especially answering questions about the fauna. The highlight was the tea tasting with a tea master: three teas of which two were locally grown.
