Fun and interesting!

Kiko was very knowledgeable and easy going. We did visit the places listed on the itinerary. We visited a lot of vintage and resale shops geared to young adults. We saw many off the beaten path alleyways, restaurants, and temples. Osaka castle was beautiful and interesting too! A great way to get an overview of the Namba area!

A great tour of key spots in Kyoto

Along day but a lot was covered. Generally a very good trip. The only thing to improve are the instructions on where the tour. The named spot was not signed. Something more simple like in front of the AVANTI Building would have been much clearer. Our guide , Charles, was very informative, had a good sense of humour and kept us on time.

Wonderful way to visit Kyoto for a day

Wonderful day. A great way to see the key landmarks in Kyoto without hassle and stress. Our guide Anna, and driver, Takayama, (apologies for spelling mistakes) were absolutely wonderful. Anna’s English was great and took time to explain the history behind each stop. There are many details of our day that we would have missed just visiting on our own. She also knew the ideal spots for the perfect pictures. These will help refresh our memorable day. The tour allowed us plenty of time to visit each site. I would be remiss not to mention our driver. The car was clean and spacious and he was an excellent driver. Definitely recommend.

Moe is Amazing!!!!

This was a fabulous tour! Moe was the sweetest and best tour guide! She pointed out all kinds of cool places starting right when we met up, not just in Nara. She got some absolutely wonderful photos of us throughout the tour. At the end of the tour she made sure we got back to the station and knew exactly which train to take back to Kyoto. I cannot recommend her highly enough! If I could give this a million stars I would!

Amazing tour guide and driver!

Loved this private tour! Our guide Hosei was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. He was also super flexible with our schedule as we only had a day in Kyoto, and even helped us choose gift shops and a great restaurant for lunch! It was such a pleasurable experience for my mother and me.

John was a great tour...

John was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and down to earth kind of guy. We had a lot of good food and drinks. 15 tastings at 5 places and 4 drinks of choice. If you're open to most foods, you shouldn't be hungry after this tour. And maximum of 9 people is a great size group. Definitely recommend.

Great tour even with the crowds

It’s a long day but worth the journey. Check for local holidays before booking. We went on a long weekend and both areas were completely overrun with locals and tourists. It made for a chaotic day. The island is beautiful and so much to offer and Hiroshima is hard to put into words . Simply have to experience it

We started our stay in...

We started our stay in Osaka with this food tour to start experiencing the food of Osaka. This tour brought us to some small local places that we would probably be too shy to try on our own! There was a nice variety of food and they take dietary restrictions into consideration :) we also learned about the food we were eating, the area and could ask general questions about Osaka too! We stayed in the area after the food tour was finished to try some carnival games and karaoke, the locals in the area are very friendly for tourists :)

A fabulous day in Kyoto!

We had the absolute best guide - Keiran! Yes, the pick up was easy, the bus driver was careful, the bus was comfortable, and the sights were perfect in capturing Kyoto in a day. BUT what made the experience so extraordinary was our guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, provided excellent recommendations on food and omiyage, and went out of his way to lend his expertise on our travels. So blessed to have him lead our special day in a very special city!

Sumo...up close and personal !

Fun and informative presentation. Very personal and small space, with a presenter who spoke perfect English, and interacted well with the crowd. The wrestlers were fun, fit and happy to play along with the tourists .Would recommend, if you can't get to an actual Sumo match...I have a greater understanding and appreciation of this unique sport.
