Itinerary
Your day begins with pickup from your Tokyo hotel. Meet your private guide, settle into the air-conditioned vehicle, and head south.
Take advantage of your guide’s flexibility to customize your tour to your interests.Recommended activities include riding the ropeway up Mt. Kachi Kachi for panoramic views of Mt. Fuji or taking a cruise on Lake Kawaguchi.
You can also visit Mt. Fuji 5th Station, the final point on the mountain that you can reach by car or by shuttle bus (additional cost). Other popular activities include cruising Lake Ashi in a pirate ship, walking to Arakura Fuji Sengen-jinja Shrine and its pagoda in Arakurayama Sengen Park, and exploring the small village of Oshino Hakkai and its hot springs.
At the end of the tour you are dropped off back at your Tokyo hotel.

A perfect day seeing Mt Fuji and the key sights with our driver/guide Haseeb. We were able to work around some cloudy weather and ended up with perfect views of Mt Fuji. Haseeb was flexible and made sure our day went wonderful.
It was a long day due to traffic but worth the drive for this special excursion.

This was the best day for us in Japan. When we started it was very cloudy so we didn’t reach to Station 5 but our guide Jeff took us on an amazing journey visiting Chureito pagoda, Lava cave, lakes, an old village all providing a great view of the Mt. Fuji ( without clouds). The boat ride on Lake Kawaguchi was the best experience for our teens and the views were breathtaking.

We had the best day on our Mt Fuji trip! Sam was a great guide, listening and conversing with us, offering many options of activities to do based upon our conversation. Sam’s recommendations for lunch and a unique ice cream shop were delicious. He gave us plenty of time for souvenir shopping. Mt Fuji cooperated and offer us some views of the peak before hiding behind the clouds again. An excellent birthday trip for my friend!

Such a wonderful experience! Our guide was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. She took us to some beautiful scenic spots, and the boat ride was absolutely breathtaking. We had a great day and really enjoyed the tour.

Ali was a terrific guide. He made it the most memorable part of our trip to Japan. Because it was a private tour we were allowed to customize it so we got to do exactly what we wanted if the length of time we wanted. The transportation was super comfortable and we got to see a ton of Mt Fuji and the surrounding areas.

Mirza (our tour guide) was phenomenal. We have two kids (5 and 2) and he was very accommodating to our proposed changes to the itinerary. We were lucky enough to get the best shots of Mt. Fuji since it was clear day.

This was one of the best out-of-town tours we have ever done, made even better with Fabi taking us through the countryside with his careful and safe driving. Fabi took a lot of time to make sure our perfect view of Mt. Fuji happened (early, but not too early and in just the right spot). He absolutely made sure we got what we came for, and seemed to move mountains for the money shot. Our memorable picture with the Torii gate and Mt. Fuji in the background was a great keepsake. (He often checked the cameras to make sure he could time it just right and when he did, his enthusiasm was delightful.). The rest of the day was filled with surprise visits to a beautiful lakeside flower garden, a shrine at the base of Mt. Fuji and a sake tasting before heading home. The day was full of beautiful locations, great information from Fabi, and a first-hand sense of what it is like to live in Japan. We would definitely book this trip again and recommend it for an introduction to the nearby mountain.

Israr our guide was really good. Kept explaining everything for us. Unfortunately we were not able to see Mount Fuji due to the weather but Israr provided alternatives. We enjoyed it a lot.

Areeb customized our tour to our preference despite us starting the tour unfamiliar with all the sites. His recommendations for ice cream and lunch were excellent. We got to also take pictures of the top of Mt. Fuji ant the 5th Station and collected some great tasting natural Fuji water from the Oshino Hakkai. Definitely worth it over the group tours!

Riz was a true treasure to work with! Very patient and nice with our big group. 10/10 experience! We also got to see Mt.Fuji, at full view, which is very rare during the summer!! We visiting rode a speed boat on Lake Kawaguchi, visited Oishi Park, and got delicious food for lunch.

This had to be the highlight of our Tokyo trip!!! Our guide Areeb was simply the best we could have wished for. Great communication, exactly on time and gave us suggestions on the route based on the places I picked. We got lucky with perfect view of Mt Fuji and he even took some pics for us. He was a safe driver and pleasant throughout. I would recommend this private tour to anyone. Our guide even recommended a delicious lunch and a tour of the lake on a speedboat. What an experience

A whistle-stop tour of Mount Fuji and surrounding area. We’re glad we did it but our guide wasn’t very enthusiastic or informative, so we don’t feel that we got as much out of the day as we could have.

The tour was great and Haan suggested a great sport for lunch as well, but his driving was a little scary. We especially enjoyed the lakeside village. It was lovely, with lots of shops and such. Also, the sake tasting was very nice. A relaxing day of getting to just hang out with family (2 hr drive each way gave us lots of chatting time) and see some beautiful places without rushing from one site to another.

Our private Mt. Fuji & Hakone tour was the highlight of our trip! Maz was an outstanding guide - kind, knowledgeable, and a safe driver who got us out early to beat the crowds and heat. Every stop was perfectly chosen for our family with two teens, from the breathtaking views at Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine and the peaceful Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine to Oishi Park, where we enjoyed the most delicious soft serve overlooking Mt. Fuji, the Narusawa Ice Cave, and the charming village of Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba.
Maz also introduced us to delicious local snacks and recommended an excellent ramen spot for lunch. It was a perfectly planned, 10/10 day, and we highly recommend this tour!

This private tour was great , David was a great tour guide, he was able to get us to Mount Fuji at the right time, we were able to beat the crowds and that made our experience much better. Overall this was a great tour, would recommend David to other people visiting Tokyo.

I'd like to give it 5 stars, really, but the very changeable weather interfered with our enjoyment of some activities. It was a Mt. Fuji trip, but we couldn't get any sight of the mountain at all because of rain and low cloud. Of course, this is not the tour company's fault and our guide, Dan, was consistently cheerful and helpful, with plenty of useful information on the places we were visiting and flexibility to add some shopping on the way back. And we actually had enough sunny spots to take some really nice photos. They are great memories, since I met up with this friend after 30 years!

This was a trip that is worth your money. We get to see all the tourist places in luxury and convenience. Our guide Jeff, was amazing! He is kind, patient, courteous and made our experience so memorable. We saw Mt Fuji!! Immediately when we met him, he asked if we have a priority place to see. That tells me that he cares for our preference and comfort. I have learned a lot on this trip! Book this trip, you wont regret it. Ask for Jeff!

Our family had an incredible day exploring Mount Fuji and Hakone. We had a private guide, Bajwa, who was remarkably flexible, adjusting the itinerary on the fly to keep things engaging for our kids, and he was fantastic at explaining the sights in a way they could easily understand. When heavy rain hit midday, he quickly adapted our plans so we could still enjoy Owakudani, see the sulfur mountain and experience the famous black eggs. We can't recommend him highly enough for families.
