Fantastic Seoul Food Tour with Jacob!

We had such a fantastic time exploring Seoul’s food scene with Jacob! He was an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of interesting insights into Korean food, culture, and local traditions. The food was absolutely delicious, and we loved discovering local spots, including some that had been featured on Gordon Ramsay’s shows and Netflix’s Street Food! It made the experience even more special knowing we were tasting dishes from places that had received international recognition. One of the highlights was learning about traditional Korean drinking games! It was such a fun way to experience another side of Korean culture and connect with the group. Jacob made the entire experience engaging, informative, and enjoyable. This tour was a wonderful combination of amazing food, cultural insights, and fun experiences. Covered most of the importance sights of Seoul in one day. There was a lot of walking, but most of it was flat. One annoying stop at a ginseng “museum”, which was a little more than an effort to sell ginseng. But the guide was good and the group was small only 11 people. Whole lot was packed in.

Great day to DMZ zone

Joo-Ee was an amazing tour guide to DMZ zone. Her great sense of humour and friendly atmosphere made this day a memorable experience. The tour starts very early morning but there will be few stops where you can get breakfast, snacks and food. There were 17 people on a minibus and we all did the 3rd tunnel, Dora Observatory and suspension bridge. I would recommend as a must do tour if you’re visiting Seoul.

Absolutely Worth It!!! Foreigner friendly

When I tell you this experience was a 10 out of 10…I mean it! Foreigner friendly I promise. Our tour guide Jake was the absolute best. So friendly and kind hearted. From the beginning to the end he was informative and communicated greatly. Took his time to ensure we had great photos and would offer to take them for us. Also answered any questions we had about the history of the city or general questions. There wasn’t one question Jake wasn’t able to answer. Unfortunately, during one of the walks I slightly rolled my ankle. Jake was so quick to assist me with finding the nearest convenience store. He helped to translate with the staff about my slight injury and they advised what I needed. Within 5 mins of me hurting my ankle I was all patched up. Jake bandaged my ankle with a cold patch and wrap and we were able to continue the tour. I had to move a lot slower to refrain from making my slight injury into a serious one. Jake would walk with me slowly and found me places to sit while he continued to explain to me the history of the sites we were visiting. I never felt rushed and I still got to experience the tour. I highly recommend this private tour to foreigners if your a bit nervous about exploring the city on your own. Jake was fluent in English and Korean which made it so much easier. Thanks again Jake for making this tour a memory that I will keep for a lifetime! ☺️
