Our trip to Fuji was once-in-a-lifetime, and thanks to our driver and guide, Osman, we had an amazing experience from beginning to end. He was very knowledgeable about the Japanese culture and all the places we’ve visited which made our trip a little learning experience on the Japanese culture. He also took great photos in key spots and adjusted the trip to our needs. We highly recommend him and if we ever come back to Japan with the kids we’ll have Osman as our guide again.

We had a great experience on our private Mount Fuji tour. Our guide, Raja, was fantastic—he was very accommodating and helped us customise the itinerary to focus on the spots we really wanted to see. He drove safely throughout the day and was flexible when we went slightly over our planned time, which we really appreciated.
Communication regarding the booking was good. Raja did arrive a little late to the pick-up, but he kept us informed, and overall the day went smoothly. I would recommend this tour for anyone looking for a stress-free, customisable way to see the sights at your own pace.

We toured with Malik, and highly recommend requesting him if you can. He was incredible — funny, knowledgeable, a good driver, and very accommodating. He was able to answer every question we had and take amazing pictures. He also suggested some amazing spots, like the Ice Cave and a nearby pagoda, both of which were amazing. It was incredibly clear he cared about our experience.
Beyond being a good tour guide, he is an amazing person, and it was a pleasure to get to know him throughout the day. He is interesting, kind, and is what I hope every tour guide will be.

We had a great day moving around the northern Mt Fuji area with Usman as our guide. The weather (fortunately) was incredible so we had some great photos from the day. Usman was very open to focusing on what we wanted to see and recommended a few additonal stops that were not the obvious ones. By picking us up and dropping us off at our hotel he made the day easy for us. The surrounding towns and stops are quite diverse and gave us an appreciation for the more rural areas of Japan. This would definitely be a trip we would recommend!

This trip was perfect for us - we were able to omit the activities that were the least interesting to us and to spend more time at the sights we most wanted to visit. The driver/guide was very sensitive to our needs and limitations, and very helpful when we stopped to make souvenir purchases or try different street food items. I would recommend Malik as an excellent driver/guide.

Usman was a great driver. Unfortunately, Mt Fuji was covered in clouds, which is often the case. We asked to see Shiraito falls, and they did not disappoint. The reconstructed village was really informative. Feeding the swans was fun, mostly because the fish were hilarious. Usman provided great information throughout. Keep in mind that each site is a 30-60 minute drive from the previous, so only so much can be squeezed in.

This was experience for my wife and I. Our tour guide, Raja was super helpful and informative. He took us to the places to see Mt. Fuji and get different angles for pictures! The places included, Lawson, Lake Kawaguchi, Chureito Pagoda, Oshino Hakkai, Oishi Park, and Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato. Raja also recommended great treats like ice creams, honey, etc. 8/5 stars!

Our Mount Fuji trip became one of the best memories of our Japan journey thanks to the wonderful support from the tour company and the guides.
Initially, our trip was booked for May 1, but due to bad weather there was almost no chance of seeing Mount Fuji clearly. Even though our guide Mr. Abdul had already reached our hotel, the company kindly understood our concern and agreed to reschedule the trip to May 3. We truly appreciate this thoughtful gesture and customer-friendly support.
On May 3, our new guide Mr. Raja arrived exactly on time and made our trip absolutely amazing. Despite having limited time as we needed to return to Tokyo by 3 PM, he carefully planned the day and covered 6 beautiful spots around Mount Fuji. He guided us with great care, patience, and local knowledge throughout the journey.
The weather was perfect, the views were breathtaking, and the entire experience became unforgettable because of their professionalism and hospitality.

This was an awesome personalized trip to the Mt. Fuji area. However, don't go expecting to see Mt Fuji. We were aware prior that the likelihood of Mt Fuji being encased in cloud was more likely than seeing the mountain in all its glory. Unfortunately, we didn't anticipate that rain and driving winds would shut down water activities, even the ability to feed the swans. That was disappointing and coloured our trip; however, that was not Viatour's nor our driver, Rashid's, fault, only Mother Natures. Rashid was intent on showing us all the sights in the area and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Knowing that the weather would deter some of the activities he took us to an additional site - the Kitaguchi hongu Funji Sengen Shrine which was amazing. This was our first stop of the day and our first shrine in Japan and boy it was gorgeous. He also took us to Hakone that we asked for that was not in original tour where we enjoyed eating black hard boiled eggs - blackened due to boiling in the sulfurous water in the region.

Great Mt. Fuji day trip on the best Mt Fuji visibility day with the best guide, Shabeer! Very well organized with multiple scenic stops and amazing views. We especially loved seeing the pagoda early in the morning without crowds and the peaceful cow pastures in the afternoon. Shabeer was courteous, spoke excellent English, planned a great route with lots of input from us as what we wanted to see. As an added bonus, he knew many “instagrammable” spots and took lots of family photos for us. Highly recommended!

Our day trip to Mt Fuji with our guide, Usman, was incredible!
Usman was highly professional, punctual, and accommodating.
He told us historical facts about different prefactures and towns as we travelled to Mt Fuji and offered his personal suggestions on places we should visit in the area.
Usman was very easy to talk to, and was super patient in allowing us a little extra time while waiting for Mt Fuji to appear from behind the clouds, which we were so grateful for.

We had a great time seeing the sights.
The guide communicated well with us the day before and made a great suggestion that we start our day at 6 rather than the original 8 AM time. This helped us avoid rush hour traffic and got us there before the major bus line tours.
The vehicle was very clean and had plenty of room. And the guide was friendly and helpful.
The only suggestion I would make to future guests is to be clear which of the “optional” destinations you want to go to. When we got in the car, I said we would like to visit all of the options listed. I found out too late that the ice caves and wind caves were too far to go by that point in the day. If I had realized he didn’t understand my request sooner, I would have asked that we skip the shopping mall at the end in favor of the caves.
It ended up being a 9 hour day for our driver so I understood why he couldn’t accommodate the caves.
I suggest letting them know your priority of where you would like to go at the beginning of the day.
Overall it was a great day and had great views. It would have been a good tour even if the weather hadn’t been so great.

You can truly tailor this entire experience to your liking. I highly recommend this experience over others as you really do get to see Mt Fuji in a more interesting way.
Usman was very informative and really look the time to plan the best morning for us. We had originally booked for 7am but when speaking with Usman he recommended earlier to avoid the rush. Had we not left when we did we wouldn’t have had such a clear view of the mountain before the clouds rolled in.
Can’t think of a better way to see the mountain in all its glory.

This tour was amazing! Rashid did a great job ensuring we were comfortable and that we visited all the places we desired. I took my mother who couldn’t do a lot of walking, Rashid took the time to sit with her and walk with her a bit while we went ahead. He wanted to make sure she had a great experience too! This made her day.
Highly recommend this tour. Skip the big touristy bus operators and travel to Mt. Fuji in style like a VIP!

Our guide Usman was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. He made the day relaxed and at our own pace. Good driver as well in a modern, comfortable van. We actually saw Mt Fuji and Usman was just as excited as we were! I recommend this trip as the only way to go if you are a senior.

We had the best day today with our private guide, Usman, on a fully customisable private tour! This is a must do tour!!
Usman made the whole experience. He’s very friendly, kind and very knowledgeable. Nothing felt rushed and he went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing time.
What stood out was how much effort he put into making the day special. He took us to some amazing hidden spots that we never would have found on our own, and made sure we had plenty of time to take in the views and get some the postcard-worthy photos.
We’ve actually done some of the more “popular” tours before and were pretty disappointed, so this was on a completely different level. It felt much more personal, far better organised, and just a genuinely enjoyable experience from start to finish.
I’ll 100% be recommending this to family and friends. If you want the best possible way to see Mount Fuji and actually enjoy the day rather than feel rushed around, this is the tour to book. Honestly don’t be pulled towards other company tours - this is the one to do!!

Our guide Rashid gave us an early start. Instead of 8am, he suggested to start the trip at 7am to avoid the crowd and traffic. We appreciated the fact that we were able to plan and customize the places we wanted to visit. We were able to see 5 out of the 7 listed. We removed the outlet stop to maximize the sights. While driving us around, Rashid also shared the history of each location. This day tour was a good way to see and andmire all the angles/views of Mount Fuji. Highly recommended.

Usman was an excellent guide. He recommended that we leave earlier than we were scheduled and thank goodness he did because that’s the only reason we were able to see Mt. Fuji. He was helpful and full of information during our tour and he was great about answering our questions as well as all of our kids’ questions. When the clouds rolled in and Mt. Fuji was no longer visible, he changed up the tour and gave us numerous options to keep all of us active and entertained. This tour was worth every penny and more!
