Scenic White Cliffs & Dover Trails

The scenic hike was truly amazing The red trail was the way to go. There was enough time to admire the scenery and we got a chance to view the scenery from the top of the cliff as well as from the beach. The city tour of Canterbury, with outstanding church, little shops, eating places, tea shop and garden experience was very nice.

A great day in the country!

A great day in the country! David was a great host, sharing highlights not just while there but also to and from. I loved his suggestions where to eat, where to shop, and where to find the loo. Chris, the driver, got us there and back quickly and safely. Great teamwork! The location was truly out of a story book. It was a lovely day out of the city!

Sunshine and the Cotswolds

Len chose to take our group on the back roads which added to our enjoyable experience. We made 4 stops and Len pointed out sites of interest along the way. We would have appreciated more time at the first and third stops, Burford and Bourton on the water. Perhaps less time at the other two. Coach was comfortable, Len was helpful and knowledgeable. And we had sunshine!!

A great day!

What a long, wonderful day! I could have spent an entire day at Windsor or Bath, and will look forward to our next trip to do that! Our tour guide, Eileen and her able driver Kai, were just terrific. Eileen is so incredibly knowledgeable. She knows a tremendous amount about the history of each location, and was friendly and helpful! Our thanks to both.

Golden tours is a very professional company. Our tour guide Bruce and driver Armando were puntual and throughly detailed. They got us first in queue at Windsor Palace which enabled us to spend one full hour at the palace without lines or wait time. The same followed for the next two locations. I highly recommend people to do Bath on its own. It’s a beautiful city and the tour does not allow enough time to see it all. One hour is enough to do the Roman bath and get a quick bit to eat, but Bath deserves a whole day or two. Highly recommend Golden Tours.

The small tour bus was a great experience, more of a one on one feel. We were lucky to have Mark as our driver, he did a fantastic job and gave us all an excellent day out with great insights into the areas were visiting, lots of history and great information along the way. The places we visited were beautiful in different ways and they can really fit in a lot in one day. Pick up and drop off location is convenient near the Victoria station. Overall great day and would highly recommend. Thanks Mark!

Day trip to Cotswold/Oxford

This was a great bus tour to the Cotswold area of England and a visit to Oxord. The general tour included Burford and Bourton on Water p both very quaint and interesting towns! Oxford was a bucket list item for me - we are hooked on all the British shows and Oxford is always a location shown on them. The tour guide, Charlie, was great and told lots of little tidbits of history about the stops. The weather had been perfect in England this week so we were able to really enjoy the countryside. One of the only suggestion I would make, is to add more time at Burford - we hardly had time to check out the main street and the stores. Bourton on water - that was about right. Oxford was very good, but seemed to be a little too long. There are so many colleges and museums and historical locations, it really would take at least a full day to really see it. We both really liked Burford and would have loved to have an extra 30 to 40 minutes there. Overall, this was a great tour and I would recommend your company to all who might be visiting in the London area. Thanks to adding to our first visit to the UK. We plan to come back soon!

“Memorable Stonehenge & Bath Tour”

The tour to Stonehenge and Bath was an absolutely wonderful experience. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the journey. What made it even more special was our guide, Eugine, who kept the trip lively and engaging from start to finish. He shared a wealth of knowledge about the history, culture, and significance of not only the main destinations but also the places we passed along the way. His continuous and insightful narration added great value to the entire experience. Overall, it was a memorable and enriching trip that I would highly recommend.

A must do!

We did a guided audio tour with David, Kirian was the driver. Both were very prompt and very knowledgeable. While we were disappointed our tour stop to Oxford was cancelled, we were given the option to instead go to Bath and are very happy with the outcome. 10/10 would recommend!

Cotswold - small group tour

It was wonderful. Enough time in each place to look around and get something to eat or drink. The driver Ash and our tour guide, Emily? were fabulous! We got just the right amount of information too. Small group tours are definitely the way to go! The only improvement I would add is for the driver or tour guide to have 20p and 50p coins available for toilets in case you need to go to a pay one where no card is accepted.

Excellent adventure

Really great places to see…Evan Evans runs a very smooth operation…..we had a wonderful very knowledgable guide Kevin who did a fantastic job of explaining the history of each of these sites and sprinkling in tidbits of British history…it’s a busy day and could spend many hours at each of these sites but they do a great job of letting you at least have an appreciation for these amazing places…look forward to doing more tours with this company in the future…..
