What are people saying about Cambridge

The tour was fascinating...
The tour was fascinating and covered a lot of good information about the University. I recommend adding the King’s College chapel admission to the tour. Our tour guide Alice made it special with her presentation of the material. She was particularly attentive to my needs as someone who is deaf/hard of hearing. If you can request her, do so

Highly recommended!
We really enjoyed this Punt along the river. Our guide was a young lad in college, he was confident, incredibly knowledgeable, and fun, everything you could ask for.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this trip, you see so much from the River, see so many beautiful buildings and bridges, and learn about the history of Cambridge. A huge thank you to our guide, wish we'd have gotten his name.

Great tour
Great tour. I will say there were other punting companies on the water and we would occasionally bump into each other, but it was still fun. I would also say that our guide wasn’t as talkative as other guides and it would’ve been nice to know some of the small facts. But he still covered the basics and I loved the tour. I would absolutely do it again.

Great tour
I travelled with my 3 teenage children from London and we all thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour with our local guide Dick. It’s not easy to keep kids entertained for 2 hours but he managed to keep them interested and answered all of our questions. Grateful for all the recommendations to have a nice meal. If you have a sweet tooth like us definitely ask your guide to show the best gelato place in Cambridge- we went there 3 days in a row and all the flavours were delicious and worth queueing up for.

No reason not to...
No reason not to recommend this tour.
This was my second visit to Cambridge, and this time it was much more fascinating and inspiring thanks to this tour.
I not only learned about the history and practical aspects behind the pretty buildings and the city, but also gained a bigger picture of the countless stories behind them.
I feel very lucky that my partner happened to find and choose this tour!

Cambridge Tour will not disappoint
Cambridge is a beautiful, quaint town with beautiful colleges. The Kings Chapel was spectacular and I am not easily impressed seeing so many in my lifetime. We did the alumni tour with the punting. The tour guides were engaging ( Robert and John - we had two because my train from London was late so they graciously made accommodations for us- #grateful ) and knowledgable. Definitely worth the tour. We also went on the punting tour which was enjoyable similar information as walking tour but nice to hear personal stories and opinions from the alumni. Highly recommend. It was a crowded day and hot but still worthwhile. The town has a lot of nIce shops and pubs in your free time. We walked 25 min from train station ( instead of taking bus) to Kings Chapel. Delightful day. Viator always provides wonderful tours. Highly recommend and thank you to Alex ( for receiving my message on viator app that I was going to be late for pre booked tour and making last minute accommodations) and to Robert and John for walking in the heat and sharing fun historical facts
Very fun day

What an amazing tour guide Nym is!
Our guide (her name is Nym), was amazing!! She was an undergrad and is a current grad student at Cambridge and was extremely knowledgeable on the history of the various college building we toured around. She gave an all encompassing history of Cambridge all the way from 1209 onwards all the way to the most recent developments at the University. We learned so much from her and her enthusiasm, energy and passion showed through, resulting in a very memorable experience. Thank you Nym!

A perfect tour
Our tour with Tanya was the perfect way to start our time in Cambridge. Despite the cold and rain spirits were kept high and so many interesting places visited and stories told. The visit to the Eagle pub at the end was the cherry on the cake. Thank you, Tanya.

Fun and interesting walk
Our guide James was great, very interesting walk, fun and relaxed talk, not like you're in a history lesson, more like you're walki6round the city with a mate who knows a lot of interfaces about it.
We also did a histtour the next day, with Peter. That was also very good. While the places you visit do cross over its stoll worth doing as the things you find out are largely different.

Delightful walking tour!
We had a wonderful private walking tour of Cambridge with Sibylle. As an alumni of the college, she shared the school's history along with interesting and fun anecdotes of her time there. She was very knowledgable, and also warm and charming. We highly recommend this tour!
