Wonderful tour of the Dales and all creatures sites

it was a lovely trip to the Dales of Yorkshire and visits to places that we would have seen in all creatures great and small like the town of grassington where the vets lived and where the pub is, and you can see the actual pub with the name drovers on it. Ben, our driver was very knowledgable and talked to us throughout about the areas in the details and we also visited the Wensleydale creamery.

From the Yorkshire Moors to Dracula's coastline

Being a Yorkshire lad living in Canada for the past twenty years or so I decided to take my family on a little adventure, a this adventure was something else. What an incredible experience it was. Greg was extremely knowledgeable during the entire trip. I saw a whole new side of Yorkshire that I never knew existed. Thank you, Greg. The only thing I would suggest as we are from Yorkshire originally we would’ve liked maybe five or ten minutes in the famous Aidenfield Arms in Goathland before catching the steam train. Still 5/5. Maybe see you again some day in some other adventure. Great job.

My first ghost tour, and I would thoroughly recommend to everyone to go on one. Daria was a fantastic story teller, engaging and funny, she told so many great stories of York. Great experience. We were a family of 4 which included an 11 and 8 year old. I was worried the tour might be too scary but the way the stories were told was perfect. Just the right amount of spooky with great humour thrown in. Our tour guide was brilliant and very knowledgeable, giving historical facts before the tour had even started!

The tour you must do everyone needs a Mad Alice in their life!

Mad Alice is very knowledgeable and engages with all the audience asking their names and where they are from and amazingly remembering everyone’s name throughout the tour. Kept everyone thrilled with the right amount of humour without being disrespectful this was the highlight of our visit to York would 100% recommend booking takes about an hour and a half but she makes sure everyone is comfortable and goes at a pace suitable for everyone and that they are all enjoying it, there isn’t much she doesn’t know about York a great storyteller, even managed to keep me quiet for a bit which amazed my husband Andrew thank you so much Alice - Margaret Clitherow.

Fabulous way to see Whitney and more!

This was such a great tour. We stopped at a couple of bonus places not listed on the itinerary and saw so many beautiful things. Ben was a knowledgeable guide, and Bob made sure we got everywhere safely. We saw so many pheasants and grouse, we lost count! We were surprised to find out that the tour also included a steam train ride. What a great day!

Fun and Interesting

Went on this experience with my wife and two children (6 and 3) and we all had a great time. We enjoyed the introduction explaining the chocolate making process as well as the tasting samples, my 6 year old thinks he's an expert now! Then there was a great variety of flavourings and ingredients to add to our own chocolate once we got stuck. All four bars made were delicious and didn't last long once we got them back!

The most comprehensive York tour in all of York.

Dave is so knowledgable and truly joyful about his history niche that this tour is overloaded with reasons to go. It was unique in that it was open-ended - as long as we wanted to make the tour. He offered an all-day option - though I left after 3 ish hours and a lovely coffee break, during which Dave also demonstrated his James Bond trivia expanse. Rarely does one see someone so enjoying his job.

Worth the day trip.

It was a small group on the tour so we were able to save time getting on and off the bus, which gave us more time at the stops and a few extra stops aa well. The weather held so we were able to see the countryside in its glory. The stories and experiences the driver related about the two series and the countryside made the day interesting. A great time.
