Delicious Old town Munich foodie tour.

WOW! This foodie walking tour did not disappoint! And it was accompanied by ongoing narrative from Tetiana, our excellent guide, about the food origins as well as local history of the sights we were passing. We had at least 10 tastings, at 5 sites, of savory and sweet and 2 beers and one wine (or non-alc alternative). One of the sites included a typical local meal of sausages, potato salad and spaetzl (noodles with cheese). Each of the sites had its own story, character and ambiance. Highly recommend this. We chose the 3 pm tour so that the tastings gave us the equivalent of our evening meal. It was a convivial group and no one left hungry least of all us.

Ms. Franciska, the guide mixed humor with her rich knowledge and had a pleasant way to deliver the information. We had a wonderful experience on the full day VIP Daytrip Neuschwanstein, Linderhof and Grotto from Munich. The tour bus was very comfortable and provided an easy way to see the Bavarian forests and explore the picturesque palace and castles. It was helpful that the tour included snacks and beverages for the ride since it is a long day. One of the highlights of this tour was the visit to the Venus Grotto on the grounds of the Linderhof Palace where we experienced the colorful effects of lights and reflections on the water. During our stop at Neuschwanstein Castle, we felt that we had plenty of time to enjoy a leisurely lunch and make the trek up the hill to the castle for the scheduled tour time. The walk up the hill from the commercial area to Neuschwanstein Castle takes visitors along a beautiful, though steep road through the forest, but there are also options to ride most of the way in horse-drawn carriages or shuttle buses. It is important for visitors to know that the options to ride up the hill require cash payment in Euros. Our tour guide Marcus was very congenial and knowledgeable. He explained what we saw as we drove through the hills from Munich and provided stories about the history of the landmark sites and the people that constructed them. He handled all the tour tickets and both he and his assistant looked out for the welfare of the group at each stop.

Great way to learn about the city

This is a very nice boat trip through the city. It was my first time in Berlin and it gave me a great overview of the city. You get to see many of the sites and learn some fun facts. The tour gave me a better idea of what else I wanted to see in the city. The ride is comfortable and there are drinks to purchase on board. At just an hour I feel like it’s a great option to introduce yourself to the city.

We got engaged!

We had an amazing day on this tour. Dimitri suggested an alternative overlook for Neuschwanstein that was beautiful. It was so lovely and private enough my partner decided to propose and we got engaged! We were glad we toured the inside of both castles, they were really amazing. Our driver was also great and got us everywhere safely.

A day of Castles

Julia picked us up promptly at 8:30 and we were off to see the Castles. It was nice having someone drive us that knows the area well. The tours are very timely and well done by the staff at the castles and we felt like having our guide showing us where to go and how things worked was a big plus. Overall a great experience.
