Great Experience

Given the low river levels in Budapest are preventing River Cruises this summer. It was great to actually get an opportunity to see how spectacular the city is when viewed from the river. Our cruise also coincided with dusk, so we got to see the city illuminated in all its glory. The cruise itself was was well organised with a plentiful supply of drinks. Would highly recommend.

Prepare for a good time

We had a very happy time there. They treated us very well, handed us a bubbly glass to start, and kept up with drinks. I thought they were going to charge (just a few spritzers) but did not. The food had a lot of variety. It was raining like crazy, but all was good once inside. One issue - Bolt was 100% not available that evening, I guess due to demand. We used the subway to get closer to the boat.

Stunning at sunset

Important to arrive early to get a good seat on the boat. The beverage service was great as was the audio-guided tour that was included. My wife and I went as the sun was setting which was perfect because we could still see some of the sights explained in the audio portion before it got dark. The Parliament building lit up as nightfall approached and was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this activity!

A Lovely Sojourn to a Wine Town in the Countryside

The 10am tour took me to 2 wine houses. We got to taste wine from the barrel for the red sample at Visi. The second place served us lunch which was pork crepes and small flaky pastries for dessert. 8 tastes in all. A short drive from Budapest and the wines were lovely. Peter, our tour guide/driver, was personable and kind.

I really appreciated both the efficiency of the operation, and the friendliness and customer-focus of the staff, which was superb. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

The highlight of our time in Budapest!!

This was the highlight of our time in Budapest. The ship is beautiful, clean, comfortable, posh, romantic, and sleek with panoramic glass windows from walls and roof. The ride was very smooth. The music was from a piano player and a singer who played known music. The clientele were all adult couples. The food selections were numerous (5 starters, 3 soups, 5 entrees and 3 desserts). I had the duck leg and hubby had the trout. Both were amazing and of very high cuisine quality. Service was excellent. We purchased a very good bottle of Hungaria brut sparkling for 17 euros. Other drink options were also reasonable and a welcome drink was included for free. The views from the boat cannot be described as anything less than spectacular. So many if the buildings are lit up at night (incl Buda Castle and Parliament, each twice in each side of the ship). Each ship side gets up close because the ship turns around so theres no "better side to sit on." This was a magical 2.5 hours we will never forget and we will certainly do this same dinner cruise again when we visit Budapest. I highly recommend!

Great Cruise to do with friends or partner. Best to do it when it is dark as the budlings are lite up and look great. It's about 75 mins long which is just about the right time and you do get Unlimited Prosecco and Beer. Tip for the beer, ask for two beers saves you extra trips.

The food tour was an exceptional! There was a range of food selections, all of which were very good. Our tour guide, Flora, was wonderful. She was very personable and her command of the English language was exceptional. Flora told stories that taught us of the deep integration of Hungarian culture in the food scene in Budapest, making the tour all the more memorable. Would highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful, smaller boat, with great viewing area areas! I've never been on a towel though so that would be fun. The boat was absolutely beautiful they keep in mind there are no enclosed areas. Although it was very chilly we sat in the back of the boat that had a cover on top and we were not cold at all. We had breathtaking views! This is an absolute must do when you're in Budapest and it was the highlight of our trip!!!!

A great evening on the river

We had several options for dinner cruises on the Danube in Budapest. It’s kinda a crap shoot, which one? Well we lucked out. The food quality and service was beyond expectations (for this type of event) but the music and ethnic dancers put it over the top. Overall, a terrific evening on the water, good weather, great views a good meal and entertainment. Our only issue was getting a cab back to the hotel. Book one in advance. We walked 45 min back to our hotel.

Fantastic private solo...

Fantastic private solo tour of St. Stephen's Cathedral with Martha! She was lovely, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. I took on the challenge of climbing all 364 stairs to the panoramic terrace (I'm sure Martha won't forget that!), and the views were absolutely worth it. Martha made the experience feel tailor-made just for me. 5 stars—don't hesitate to book!
