Our family of six took the windmill, clog, and cheese tour. Our tour guide was Santiago. Santiago was one of the best tour guides I have come across. He was able to answer all our questions about Amsterdam and its history. He was very friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend this tour to families with small and adult children. The best part of the tour was climbing up to the windmill! A+ tour!!

Both stops on this tour were unique, interesting, informative and memorable! We had a fantastic day! The only issue was the address given to meet before the tour was for the train station. We found where we needed to be by asking businesses close by, who could direct us generally but there was no sign indicating the tour company's name at all. This created unnecessary stress for us and others, also looking for the meeting point.

I could not recommend this tour more! Amsterdam is beautiful and the best way to see it is in a small, calm setting with some drinks and Dutch snacks. My adult children enjoyed it very much as well. The guide “Jim” was excellent. We learned a lot and also had lots of time to ask questions and have conversation. You see more on this tour due to the extended time allotment.

Excellent, perfect historical tour to learn about Amsterdam during the Nazi occupation of WW2. Of course incredibly sobering, but our fabulous tour guide, Arthur, made the tour nonetheless, an important and riveting experience. Do not miss this 2 hour walking tour. My favorite tour in Amsterdam! Rafa was such a great tour guide and the e-bikes made it so easy for this couple hour tour. Absolutely beautiful bike ride, great clog and cheese tour, and wonderful way to get out of the city. The scenery and history along the way was what made the trip, and there were pauses along the way to interact with the group. Highly recommend!

Great canal tour with knowledgeable guide!

This tour was so much better than we were anticipating! Elyan was fabulous and well versed on the details of the canals and city since he is from Amsterdam. There was plenty to eat and drink even though we didn’t partake since we had dinner before boarding. Friends were with us who lived here and said they saw and heard a lot that they haven’t on previous tours. Highly recommend Captain Jacks for a canal tour!

Our guide was extremely hospitable and well informed about the contents and organization of the museum. We focused on Dutch Masters, which was our own primary interest, and the tour left plenty of time for us to explore on our own afterwards, some of the other categories of holdings in this beautiful and venerable collection. Special thanks to Lisa, our guide, for waiting 15 minutes for our late arrival, and for the remaining guest on the tour for not strangling us for being late.

Hidden gem of a tour/ come hungry!

This tour is more than it’s advertised as. First we met in an adorable shop in Amsterdam Gastrovino Amsterdam where we joined a small group. We met Todd, our guide, and started with three stroopwaffel liquor, white wine, three cheeses and some cured meat. At our first stop we had fish and eel. The eel as amazing!! Todd didn’t push any food people had an aversion to!! At the next stop we had coffee to order and we watched Todd make us stroopwaffles. They were delicious! The next stop was for fries! We shared a huge amount of fries and the group couldn’t finish them! Our last stop Was apple pie and some beer!! All along Todd shared cultural and historical information. We walked and really enjoyed the food and the company. Todd was fantastic! When it started to rain he provided umbrellas! He was very cautious with us crossing streets. This tour was 3 hours long and worth every penny!
