Well Worth It!
Michael was an amazing tour guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining for the whole two hours. I got a good sense of the city, of its historical background and a ton of fun facts. Cant say enough about the guide and the tour!.Worth the money and the time. Danke!!!

A tasty highlight
Lots of walking between meals, which we loved as Viennese food is heavy. Our guide shared many interesting tidbits (besides food) and was friendly and quite charming. The only downside was that the first course, a pretzel, was very stale and those of us on the tour were too polite to say anything. She doesn’t eat the food herself so didn’t realize. We loved the tour and it was a highlight to interact with a local who answered many of our questions about life in Vienna.l and created a communal feeling with other guests.

Great trip to Salzburg
This was a great trip to Salzburg. Well organized and well guided. Would highly recommend. We started off going to Mondsee, where there was a church where the wedding scene from Sound of music. We had 20 mims there. Then we went to st gilgen, a village by the lake where Mozarts mother was born. We had 20 mins to there as well. We then went to Salzburg where we had a fairly thorough tour of the old city from the shopping streets to St. Peter’s at the base of the castle. We then had 2.5 hours of free time where we toured the church, had some original blue “morzat balls” that I think were better or at least distinctive from the red substitute. We had hot dogs and Sacher torte at the hotel Sacher there (yes, there is a branch of the famous hotel there too). Our guide was great and was able to keep up a lively commentary about Austrian history and culture despite not getting my much from us in terms of feedback or questions. The tour bus was comfortable, had charging ports and a high roof…which made the entire inside much more open and airy. This is not the case in other parts of the world and made the whole trip much more comfortable. All in all, we got what we paid for and it was a good trip.

Our private tour was...
Our private tour was tailored to our interest and our guide was flexible in our itinerary to meet our requests. Our guide, Jeremy, was extremely knowledgeable about history, architecture, art, and all things Viennese. I would highly recommend this tour.

Walking is the best way to explore the pedestrian-friendly capital of Austria. Vienna walking tours are available for a variety of time frames and interests. You can spend as little as an hour with a guide who will point out not only key sightseeing highlights but also favorite restaurants and shops. Or choose a longer excursion that delves into the city’s cuisine, history, music, or even haunted locales. There are also private walking tours geared toward families and itineraries that cover the world-famous Christmas markets.
