Take the U4 subway to Schönbrunn station. Walk 3 minutes to the Group Center, located before the palace. Your guide will wait in front of the Group Center with a sign for easy identification. Do NOT enter the palace; the Group Center is on the opposite side.

This was a great experience. Karen our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable and fun. The palace rooms are beautiful, some of the best I’ve seen. Definitely worth visiting.

The guide was knowledgeable and was easy to hear as we all had one over ear head phone. The walking was easy with only a few stairs

Tour was a 2 hour but only lasted about 45 in the actual house.
Gardens were disappointing as had no flowers!

The group meeting point was sadly not as obvious with signage as i was expecting and we were not the only folks that had trouble in our group finding it. That being said it was fine after we reread the instructions and looked a bit harder. It may just be that the USA kind of goes overboard with signage and we're used to that.
As for the tour, Lena was fabulous and gave plenty of detail which I love. I love that she includes some of the less flattering parts of Austrian history as well. Absolutely would recommend for anyone visiting Vienna.
Also we were happy to use the free lockers downstairs at the group center since we were only in Vienna for the day and it kept us from having to carry our stuff for the tour which I am told is not allowed.

Our tour guide was very informative and we could understand him very well. The tour was neat to see the palace. Some rooms were tight due to crowding but easily manageable.

We did the English tour on Christmas Eve Day. Our guide was very hard to understand so we ended up just looking at the pretty rooms as she talked. So, unfortunately it wasn’t worth it for us.

No big sign is waiting at the group meeting spot… the tour starts promptly and It is going through empty rooms…
Sounds non-fun? Think again.
When Lena lures you into Habsburg History, she weaves stories about passed people and celebrities of the time with alacrity and lighthearted charm.
I hadn’t even known that fake news existed in the 18th century - when people showed off with falsified paintings. They‘d get an artist to add a few important people from the era to impress their friends or the public. Mozart wasn’t actually at the big birthday bash but was added anyway- just for emphasis…
Lena throws in quizzes in a non-threatening way so everyone stays awake. Not like the history lessons i grew up with.
I can truly say i have never been more entertained and educated at the same time.

Palace is beautiful and such a big part of Austrian history. It’s a must see while in Vienna and attached to a beautiful Christmas market if you are there during the holiday season. Diana was a wonderful tour guide.

The palace was too busy for a group our size. We were regularly bumped into and scowled at. The guide was ok but I did not feel she was communicating well with us . We waited 10 minutes outside as she hadn’t explained where we were to meet

We would like to clarify that our tours always start punctually and the meeting point is clearly stated in both the booking confirmation and the pre-tour email. Our guide was present at the designated meeting point on time. The 10-minute wait before entering is standard, as we must coordinate with palace security and respect the assigned entry slot.

This is a fabulous tour. Our guide, Christina, was awesome. Very warm greeting and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The property itself is magnificent both exterior, including the grounds, but it’s the interior that is mind blowing. Very fascinating history of the family.

I am responding to your email here. We just returned from our trip to Europe and as far as this Shonbrune Palace excursion was concerned it was a total disappointment. We arrived at the meeting point just a couple minutes late due to the very rainy weather and cab driver’s earnest efforts. Yet when getting there nobody could help us at the center across the street from the palace. They said they had no relationship with Viator. Then I tried to call Viator with the number given several times and the call would not go through. So we ended up buying another ticket ourselves to get in the palace. A real bummer.
So I would ask you to refund our purchase price of &118.76 for the two tickets. This was a terrible experience all around.

Our meeting point is indeed located at the Group Center across the street from Schönbrunn Palace, and our guide waits there before the tour begins. However, Schönbrunn operates with strict timed-entry slots, which means that once the group has entered, it is unfortunately no longer possible for late arrivals to join.
Both the booking confirmation and the pre-tour email clearly state that guests must arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time to ensure a smooth check-in. In this case, the group had already entered the palace at the designated time, and the reserved entry slot could not be changed.
We are sorry that the rainy weather and transportation delays affected your arrival—we understand how frustrating that can be. As your reservation was made through Viator, any refund request must be processed directly by their customer support team. They will contact us if further details are needed from our side.
We hope you were still able to enjoy your visit to Schönbrunn Palace, despite the circumstances.

We were at the Schonbrunn Palace and hour a head of the 11:15am start time. We asked the Museum staff where the tour met. They told us outside the main gate. There are three gates. We checked all 3 but never encountered the tour group. This was very disappointing. We expect a full refund. We are experienced travelers

As mentioned in the description, guests are required to arrive 10 minutes before the start time for check-in. It seems you went to a different meeting point, which unfortunately made it impossible for our guide to meet you.

It was a good trip
everything went off well
The Palace was great but could enjoy much due to continuous downpour and generally inclement day
Inside the trip was excellent and great to know the history of Austria and the opulence of the Monarchy

I cannot recommend this company. Our group of 6 reserved 3 weeks in advance- only to have a no-show guide and ONLY after we called were we sent an email telling us our tour was cancelled. Then it was too late to book more tickets as the palace was sold out (Saturday) there were many unhappy people on our extended group as we were on a fixed schedule. Communication was poor/terrible not to mention we didn’t get to enter the Palace, which was one of our must-see events.

We pre-booked a jump-the-queue guided tour of about 2 hours - very pleasant and knowledgeable guide, and, even with a horse-riding event occupying some of the ground in front of and behind the Palace, there was masses to see
