Take the U4 subway to Schönbrunn station. Walk 3 minutes to the Group Center, located before the palace. Your guide will wait in front of the Group Center with a sign for easy identification. Do NOT enter the palace; the Group Center is on the opposite side.

- Please note that the palace has reserved entry times. It is important to arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes earlier, as late arrivals cannot be accommodated or refunded.
- The guided visit includes the 22 Imperial State Rooms, available exclusively through official Schönbrunn partners.
- Please note that the Sisi Museum is not located at Schönbrunn Palace. If you wish to learn more about Empress Elisabeth (Sisi), we recommend booking our Hofburg Palace Tour.
- The tour includes a guided walk through the Schönbrunn Gardens. Garden access is free but may be restricted due to weather, maintenance, or seasonal closures.
- Please meet your guide at the Group Center Schönbrunn, directly opposite the main entrance of Schönbrunn Palace.
- There are no storage facilities for coats, umbrellas, large bags, luggage, or baby strollers.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 30 travelers

Schönbrunn Palace was a highlight of my Vienna visit, with spectacular interiors and gardens. Our guide, Celine, made it especially memorable through her engaging storytelling, expert knowledge of Habsburg history, and fascinating insights into palace life. Wandering the grounds and enjoying apple strudel afterward was the perfect finish. A must see worth several hours.
It’s a really good experience. The guide is very, very knowledgeable and a nice person. The tour is perfectly timed.
Absolutely horrible experience. I am in the top 1% of reviewers for TripAdvisor and go on many many trips and excursions - including high end hotels and tons of tours. For the first time ever, we were running late to a tour that was scheduled to start at 1:45. I understand how these things work and I had contacted the operator to see if we need to something drastic with the Uber driver or find some other way to get there (train perhaps as those would avoid the traffic Uber driver was getting into) - however, in a call I made, we were told explicitly that it will be fine and that they will relay the message and so long as am there by 2:00 pm we will be fine (we even volunteered to meet at the Palace or wherever closer that the group will go to but was told to just meet at meeting point). We got there at 1:53 pm at the meeting point and got absolutely nowhere. I tried to appeal and got nothing but a curt response. It is infuriating to see especially given how much I have done for TripAdvisor, Viator, and the like AND especially given that they explicitly told me it was fine on the phone (they even admitted again on the phone they made a mistake), but then instead of refunding me I got absolutely nothing. Fortunately, I was able to book directly with the Palace for something cheaper and the like, but just horrible customer service to not even do anything to try to accommodate us or even partly compensate for their own mistake as well. We were even willing to go a later time with another group or whatever else (even the next day), but got absolutely nowhere. Very unprofessional and first ever bad review I have EVER given on Tripavisor or Viator. Just utterly disappointing. It's one thing if they didn't tell me 2:00 pm was fine, but they did and then chose to do nothing. Very unprofessional.
From beginning to end the tour went seamlessly. All aspects of booking and follow up information were straightforward. Our guide was very knowledgeable with a very personable approach. A very satisfying experience indeed.

Lina was very informative and easy to understand English. Her history knowledge was outstanding The tour is very good value considering we skipped a long line and enjoyed the live commentary. We felt lucky to have Lina as our guide.

Backpacks and bags are not permitted in the palace, but the group meeting center has free combination locked lockers to store your belongings during your tour.

While the palace was beautiful, our tour guide was very rude and curt. Would not recommend her to anyone. She did not entertain any questions, even from the older people in the group and was visibly annoyed when anyone asked her anything.

During the summer months the sun can be oppressive but Lena’s presentation (sometimes from a woman’s perspective TY) was great. For the first time I actually heard some thoughts from the Austrian side of the first and second WWs.

The gardens are immense, and you’ll probably have to walk to the top of the Gloriette on your own. We were there on a hot day, but it was still a great tour. The interior of the palace is def worth seeing (rococo)

This was a very good tour. Our guide gave us plenty of history to make it meaningful without too much for the non history buffs in the group. This palace is one that really needs a tour to understand it. Our guide clearly loved the palace and gave great insight to understanding life in the palace and Maria Theresa.

Great option for avoiding likes to buy tickets and getting in. Our guided tour was wonderful and we learned so much in such a short period of time. Well worth your time when in Vienna.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Lena, who gave terrific details about the Hapsburg family and their historical significance. The tour was very informative and engaging, thanks to her great sense of humor and knowledge of history. She also managed our group expertly, keeping us together when it got crowded and giving us clear instructions before we headed in.
This is a great tour to do a few days into your Vienna visit, because you will understand more of the references and the paintings. For example, seeing a huge painting of the Spanish Riding School was especially fun and interesting after having just seen the Lippizaner stallions a couple of days before. In short, the tour was great and Lena was wonderful.

Achim did a great job with a large group of 25 not all with English as 1st language and a few stragglers who showed up late. Very engaging and informative plus good at showing the group the highlights in a busy palace. Also optional look at the key points in the gardens. Overall very satisfied.
This was a great experience. Karen our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable and fun. The palace rooms are beautiful, some of the best I’ve seen. Definitely worth visiting.

The guide was knowledgeable and was easy to hear as we all had one over ear head phone. The walking was easy with only a few stairs
Tour was a 2 hour but only lasted about 45 in the actual house.
Gardens were disappointing as had no flowers!
