Venice
Sandra was excellent!!! However we booked the Doges palace and the Bascilaca far in advance and then 2 days prior to the tour Walks in Europe sent a message that they could not do the tour on the day we booked. We had to reschedule to the next day but we already had a food tour booked that I could not reschedule. We did the Doges palace tour but we did not have time for the Bascilica and had to skip it. We would like a refund for the Bascilia part of the tour. Please confirm

Jada was excellent at...
Jada was excellent at explaining everything along the way from history to architecture to culture etc. She also spoke English very well and the walking pace was very good (not too quick not too slow). My only comments for improvement is that the audio machine/earpieces had trouble connecting to Jada’s microphone if you were standing more than 15 or so feet away, but if you were near then it was fine. I would recommend this tour if you enjoy learning about Venice.

If you're a foodie, it's definitely worth it 👌🏻
Our guide, Mercedes, was amazing; full of knowledge, enthusiasm and patience and we found some amazing food venues, enjoying the streets and districts around the Rialto and San Polo area. Despite a few teething troubles with our booking timing, the trip, and our group of 8 were super fun and it was a great way to spend time in Venice. I'd absolutely recommend it. Thank you Mercedes 🙏

Fantastic
We had a fantastic experience on the skip-the-line tour of the Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica. Everything was very well organized, and skipping the long queues made a huge difference, especially during busy hours.
Our guide, Rita, was excellent—knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about Venice’s history. She shared so many interesting facts about the Doges and the political life of Venice that really brought the palace to life.
St. Mark’s Basilica was absolutely stunning. The mosaics are breathtaking, with intricate details and shimmering gold leaf that make the entire space feel magical. It’s truly a must-see, and having a guide to explain the history and symbolism made it even more special.
Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Venice!

Wonderful trip
A wonderful, relaxing and informative tour on a beautiful boat.
Our guide Claudia was fun and knowledgeable about the area because of her heritage there.
Everything was easy getting in and out of the boat and the walk was very manageable.
I highly recommend it.

Tour of Saint Marco Basilica, and the Dahm Museum
Everybody met on time at our starting destination. Since a lot of people had canceled, they’re only six people in the group so it was a wonderful private little tour. Our tour guide ,Michael, what is fantastic. He was so thorough on his explanations of everything. He told great stories and really knew the history of everything. He was delightful to be around.

Jack was incredibly...
Jack was incredibly knowledgeable as both a long-time Venetian resident and UK expat, which allowed him to provide some insightful information, history and perspectives of the city. He was open to questions and took us to the key locations of the city and we were particularly wowed by the churches he selected on the route. A fantastic, intimate tour of this beautiful city.

Must Do!
We had the best time with Tommaso on our tour! I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Venice. You get to experience the real parts of the city with a unique local perspective. Tons of history and Tommaso was so knowledgeable and friendly.

Loved the Food and talks.
Its well worth it. The guide was fun (Ana, loads of commentry and fun to be with) and told us all about the different foods at each stop. Different choices available to suit your tastes. We did 5 stops and one extra with the artichoke man, very interesting watching him work and her telling us about what they make with all the parts. Fish market was amazing to look around. I would say go early on in the day to miss the crowds and the fish market closes at 1pm so if you go later you wont see it on the tour. And definitely would be crazy on a Saturday with the weekend visitors. Lots to see on the tour and finished with superb Gelato. Cant recommend it enough. Interesting stories about the doorway and the bricks you see in the pictures.

Great Tour!
Had a great time being shown around the highlights of Venice with Roberta. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Smaller group tour of 15 which was really great not to get lost from the group. The tours of the Doge's palace and St. Marc Basilica we're short but sweet, getting the most important information and nice insights about the art and the history of the monuments. Gondola ride was a nice inclusion in the tour, definetly a different perspective of the city. There was an ample lunch break to be left for you to explore although Roberta gave us a few recommendations and we also went to walk through some of the quieter streets and squares at the end, which was nice to explore a little more! All in all I think this was a really nice snapshot of the highlights of Venice

Wonderful 2 hours
Our walking tour was absolutely brilliant—Alice was amazing. She gave us a unique perspective on two sides of Venice: the modern city and how locals navigate everyday life, as well as the grandeur of the 16th-century capital of the Venetian Republic.
The tour was fun, educational, and definitely not boring! I would happily come back again.
As a local, Alice also gave us plenty of great advice on where to go and where to eat, and her recommendations were excellent. As an art historian, I especially appreciated her insights, particularly when she pointed out where we could find original paintings by Titian.

Great personal feeling tour!
Great walking tour to see different areas of the city starting in the university area, moving through San Paolo, and ending in the most famous San Marco’s square. I took the tour during my first full day and really enjoyed learning more about the history of Venice on the tour. Alice was a fantastic tour guide, and she was friendly, kind, and informative answering all our questions and giving recommendations. We had three people in our group which gave the tour a great personal feel. Highly recommend this tour!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Venice is completely closed to traffic, but its maze of alleys and canals is almost impenetrable to a first-time visitor. Skip the hassle of following a map and see the A-list sights and quiet neighborhoods far from the tourist crush with a walking tour of Venice. Choose an express tour to get your bearings or a longer half- or full-day tour for a deep dive into the city’s history and culture with a private guide or a small group. For the full Venice experience, explore the city by land and water with a combination walking tour and gondola ride.
