What are people saying about Venice

Great tour
Amazing hidden gem tour in Venice. We saw things we never would have known about without our tour guide. We also loved that it was a small group with no headsets so we could clearly hear him and ask him lots of questions. Definitely would recommend for someone who wants to know about the history of Venice without going to the major touristy streets.

Excellent small group experience!
Elly was fantastic! We learned a lot! The pacing of the tour was enough to see everything but not too long. Walking up in the morning we could see a long line for the public bus. It was a huge relief to be led by Elly to a smaller boat with a small group of people. It made the tour much more comfortable and we were able to learn a lot. Elly also provided food and drink recommendations that were amazing! Would recommend this tour again!

Doge’s Palace & Saint Mark’s Basilica
It was a great tour! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the church and the palace. She really had everyone engaged from start to finish. The art work was incredible! I would highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed in anyway.

We had the best guide
We had the pleasure of having Zahra as our guide in Venice, and she truly made our experience special. With a degree in Literature and Art and a wealth of knowledge about Venice, she brought the city to life as we walked.
Our three-hour walking tour took us through hidden gems and lesser-known corners of Venice. Zahra shared stories and insights along the way, and we learned so much while exploring the city. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
Zahra was also incredibly kind and thoughtful, even taking some lovely photos of us along the way. She was knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about Venice.
We would highly recommend Zahra to anyone looking for a memorable and enriching experience in Venice!

Perfect Tour Length
The tour was the perfect length to experience both the Palace and the Basilica without feeling rushed. Our guide, Marco, was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience even more enjoyable.
The only minor issue was the meeting instructions. We were told to "validate" our tickets before going to the meeting point, which made the process seem more complicated than it actually was. In reality, all we needed to do was show up at the designated meeting place in San Marco, making it very simple.

Great way of exploring Venice
Gloria was lovely, attentive and informative. We visited 5 barcalos, in 4 we had a savoury snack and a drink and in the last a gelato. There were good options to cater for all needs and dietary requirements. A great way of visiting parts of the city you may not find and trying the Venetian ciccchetti.

Venezia tour lady
Our tour lady her name is Eliana unless I misspelled it. She is the best if you could get her I would definitely recommend. She is originally from Venezia and she use herself and her family experience to tell the history which makes it easier to understand. She moves fast and make sure it is not crowded for us to take good pictures. All in all very happy with the tour

This Is A Must Do In Venice
If you are lucky enough to get Marianna, you are in for a treat!!! This is THE BEST tour in Venice for foodies. I can't recall how many stops we had but we got a full 3-hour tour that included a sit down meal at the end.. Not only did we immerse ourselves in the local culture but we also learned about food variations, the history of the locales we visited and so much more. The food and wine combinations were very nice and I feel we got our money's worth. Marianna was a superb host and we were very fortunate to have someone so bubbly and fun! Thank you, Marianna!

The best tour guide I've ever had, on any tour anywhere.
THE FOOD:
I really liked that at each place we had selections. So if you're not an adventurous eater or you have dietary requirements there were options. And for those who wanted to be adventurous could be. All the food was tasty and a nice variety.
FOOD INFO:
She gave great tips on how the Italians eat a meal, the differences between some of their food and other cultures as well as differences between Venetian food and other Italian food.
CITY INFO:
We did more than talk about just food, she gave great tips on the city itself and some of its history. I myself sometimes get bored with too much information, but in this case I found all the information super interesting and/or useful.
THE GUIDE & OTHER INFO:
The tour guide was literally one of my favorites ever. She really set a solid expectation at the beginning of what we can be expecting. For information was interesting and useful. She made sure ahead of the tour to note where all the restrooms would be located on our tour. She definitely pointed out places where we can refill water bottles. And she was happy to answer any questions that did not necessarily pertain to food. At the end of the tour she gave us a link to her recommendations of other places we could try. A++++++
LOGISTICS:
There are minimal amount of bridges to cross. And the largest being right at the beginning. The rest of the tour is pretty leisurely and set at a good pace (not too fast or slow). It should be noticed that most of the places are very limited on seeding and so you will be standing a large part of the time (this may be helpful to know for those with mobility issues).
WHAT TO BRING:
Do suggest bringing a water bottle so that you can refill at the local funds instead of buying water. You can't purchase drinks at each location if desired.

Alice gave our group...
Alice gave our group fantastic insight into what makes Venice so unique, with a great combination of old history and current events included in her tour. She was interactive and friendly throughout our walk, and provided information even while she kept us moving from one area to the next. Highly recommended.

Fantastico!
This was a definite highlight for our family (kids aged 10 & 15). We did the 10.30am walking tour with Julia who was so welcoming and so knowledgeable. As well as the main sights of Venice we were shown hidden gems around the city and it was fantasti. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Venice for the first time.

Great walking tour
Giada was truly a great and informed tour guide. Loved hearing about the history and architecture of Venice, and while they promised less than 10 people (we had 12 and 2 don’t show which means 14), but it was ok. Giada was great with taking us places slightly off the beaten path. Venice is very very busy though.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Venice is completely closed to traffic, but its maze of alleys and canals is almost impenetrable to a first-time visitor. Skip the hassle of following a map and see the A-list sights and quiet neighborhoods far from the tourist crush with a walking tour of Venice. Choose an express tour to get your bearings or a longer half- or full-day tour for a deep dive into the city’s history and culture with a private guide or a small group. For the full Venice experience, explore the city by land and water with a combination walking tour and gondola ride.
