Meanwhile, our captain, Matteo, navigated the Venetian Lagoon so smoothly that nobody spilled a drop of their drink. 10/10, would get stranded on an island with this crew any day! Part 2: St. Mark’s Basilica & Doge’s Palace Walking Tour The splendor of St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace is absolutely mind-blowing, with gold mosaics and grand rooms that make you feel like Venetian royalty! 🏛️👑 Our guide, Marco, was a master storyteller and easily one of the funniest, most enjoyable guides we’ve ever experienced. He brought centuries of history to life with so many jokes and laughs that we completely forgot our feet were tired from walking. 10/10, Marco turned a historic tour into pure entertainment!

The weather was overcast early but broke when we arrived at Cortina, what a quaint town, reminded me of Vermont in the USA. The Dolomites were stunning and the light reflecting them was beautiful. Then on to Lake Braies the water and the reflection was so peaceful. Definitely worth the cost! Thanks so much ❤️

Such a beautiful day!

We had the best time with Carlo! This was possibly my fiance's favorite day of our trip. We learned a lot about Prosecco, the grapes, and the different types of Prosecco. I finally learned the difference between brut, extra dry, etc.! We felt lucky to go on a day where they were harvesting, dropping the grapes, and then getting to see the conveyors for bottling and packaging. We also can't forget the incredible lunch! Highly recommend opting for family style at lunch. Everything was amazing and flavorful. Carlo made the whole day very easy with train tickets from Venice and meeting us with an air conditioned van. Highly recommend spending your day in the Prosecco Hills with Carlo!

Fantastic tour. Marco was a great tour guide. This tour was very comprehensive but also did not feel rushed. We had plenty of time at lunch and felt like we saw all the sites we wanted to see that day. The family walked away very impressed and pleased at the end of the day.
