What are people saying about Venice

An insight into Venice as the locals see it.
We have been to. Venice before, so we were keen to explore more of the ‘real Venice’, away from the crowds and usual tourist haunts. Sebastiano delivered. He was personable, knowledgeable, and took us to places we’d definitely not seen previously. We felt like we had a better insight into the Venice of the people. Take a hat, lots of water and wear walking shoes!

Dolomites Delight!
Stefania was a wonderful tour guide- she knows the area so well, and knows back roads not every guide may know! Everything was one time - and well planned. She did a great job of describing things on the drive to the Dolomites, the history, details about the Olympic experience for Cortina and the residents - all little gems to soak in. And the views...wow - pics cannot do them justice - it is breathtaking and so beautiful. Would recommend this tour to anyone considering a day trip to the Dolomites - Stefania is 2nd to none in leading the group, and a true highlight of our vacation.

Amazing Day!
This was one of the highlights of our trip! The wineries were beautiful, the Prosecco was delicious, and lunch at the authentic local restaurant was outstanding. Everything was well organized, and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. It was such a relaxing and memorable day in the Prosecco Hills. I would definitely recommend this tour!

A Great Tour, Thanks to Selena
Selena is what made this tour exceptional. As a Venetian, she shared fascinating local history and insights that made every stop more meaningful. She was warm, organized, and engaging, and truly elevated the entire experience. We also had a delicious lunch in Burano at Trexento Pasta, which was one of the highlights of the day.
The only downside was the Murano glass showroom. It felt very sales-focused, and many of the pieces were extremely expensive. We later discovered on our own that not everything in the store was made in-house in Murano, and no one mentioned that during our visit. Aside from that, it was an excellent tour that we would definitely recommend, especially with Selena as your guide.

Amazing tour of Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica
This tour was above and beyond my expectations! The tour in the Doge’s Palace was fantastic. Our tour guide Simonetta was so knowledgeable, and we really appreciated and enjoyed the history telling combined with the tour. I wish we had a little bit more time in St. Mark’s Basilica, as I thought that part felt a bit rushed. However that did not take away from the amazing sites.

Highly Recommend
Definitely worth it. We only had a short time in Venice so this was the perfect opportunity to see the Dolomites. Our tour guide Francesco was great - knowledgeable, friendly, and helped share the history. The Dolomites are beautiful and this is a great way to see them.

A Must-Do Venice Experience
Our Skip-the-Line tour of Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica was one of the highlights of our honeymoon! Everything was incredibly well organized, and skipping the long lines allowed us to spend our time actually experiencing Venice instead of waiting.
Our guide, Vct, was absolutely fantastic. You could tell they genuinely love Venice and its history. They brought centuries of stories to life, explained the artwork and architecture in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, and made sure everyone felt included throughout the tour. We walked away with a much deeper appreciation for both Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica than we ever would have had exploring on our own.
If you’re visiting Venice, this tour is absolutely worth it. Great organization, an incredible guide, and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Amazing day at the Dolomites
We had an amazing day on the Dolomites tour through Viator. Matteo was an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and passionate about the region. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and Mateo made sure everyone had a great experience while sharing interesting local history and insights throughout the day. Everything ran smoothly, and we never felt rushed. This was one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend this tour, and if you get Matteo as your guide, you're in great hands

A concise and thorough highlight tour
Our tour guide did a wonderful job of guiding us through the crowds and explaining the many historic highlights along the way. We got to bypass the line for the gondola ride so it was an efficient use of our time. He offered to take photos of us in front of the significant parts such as the Rialto Bridge. There is a lunch break in the middle of the day and we went to the pizza restaurant he recommended which was a great choice! Would recommend for a great overview of Venice.

Day to the Venice lagoons
It was a good excursion to a Murano and Burano . Little crowded and minor delays. Our tour guide David spoke the most and told us entire history of Venice and even walked group to get a cookie in Burano. Went the extra mile for sure. Never did the third island and really not recommended. Burano was worth staying on longer!!!

Best experience for couples!!
Leonardo was our tour guide and he was phenomenal!! He showed us a lot of the significant sights around Venice and the history behind them. He helped make our trip romantic as I was celebrating my honeymoon and I couldn’t ask for anyone more knowledgeable. He is a Venetian himself and he was proud of it! Great to see he is keeping the tradition alive!

Don’t be Afraid of Classical Music
You don’t have to be a classical music lover to enjoy this trip back in time, through music
Traveling for the first time to Italy with friends & family. We thought getting a glimpse of old world Venice through music would be cool and it was. Don’t know anything about classical music but do know a few names of the old composers, Vivaldi is one and seeing how his “The Four Seasons” work is the most famous, and he was from Venice it made sense to go to the performance. We all had a wonderful time and the music was very engaging & lively. I think what really added to the performance, especially if you weren’t a classical music lover, was that the musicians dressed in the costumes of the period. You could imagine yourself in the 18th Century & listening to a concert of Vivaldi. We were looking for something uniquely “Venetian” and this concert fit the bill. Of course it was for “tourists” but it definitely had a different “flavor” other than the regular “tourist” things to do in Venice. We upgraded our tickets to “Skip the Line- Sit in the First Thee Rows”. It was worth it to be right up front. Like I said earlier, no one in our group was a classical music fan but we all enjoy good music whatever the genre. We heard good music & enjoyed the showmanship. It was a great activity and an end to a beautiful day in Venice.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Pulling yourself away from Venice’s splendor can be a challenge, but this city on the sea is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding Veneto region or even further afield. Venice day trips are a seamless way to visit destinations as close as islands in the Venetian lagoon or as far as the UNESCO-listed Dolomite peaks without managing tricky logistics alone. Sip Prosecco in the Valdobbiadene vineyards, admire iconic sports cars in the Motor Valley museums or discover Veneto gems like Verona and Lake Garda with hassle-free transportation directly from Venice.
