What are people saying about Valencia

History, food and fun!
This was such an interesting tour and a delightful way to spend my morning! Michelle was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging guide, diving into the history of the Silk Road, the many churches, and fun (and sometimes morbid) stories behind them. The highlight was the private dining experience where we tasted so many incredible local dishes and wines. Of all my travels, this is one of my most favorite experiences I’ve ever had.

A unique experience
The boat tour of the caves was like no other. You see the geology in such close proximity and the history is fascinating.
Our guide from and back to Valencia was informative and entertaining. Thank you, Ferran, for making our time on the tour delightful.

A Worthwhile Tour
This was a three hour tour of Alhambra and the Generalife (Gardens). Our tour guide was extraordinarily knowledgeable, and was a graduate archaeologist. Although the tour was expensive, we felt it was worth it. We got a lot more of the history and archeological details of how the various fortresses and palaces, as well as mosques/churches came to be than we would ever have gotten on our own.

Alhambra!!!
One of the best tours we have ever experienced! And… we have reserved lots of Viators. Our guide, Marco, was experienced, knowledgeable, and patient. Our previous trips to the Alhambra were without a guide and I feel that we really missed some of the most interesting details. Since we booked a private tour for just 4, there was plenty of time for conversation and questions.
We highly recommend this tour with Marco!

Well fed and watered (if you follow the instructions!)🤣
Very good cooking experience with Juan - I was impressed with my paella - let’s hope I can replicate it at home!
Juan walked us around the Old Town (I know my way around now); unfortunately we couldn’t go into the central market as it was closed due to it being a national holiday.
We went to the paella school where Juan explained the process to us whilst Mimi served us wine and tapas
I was surprised that there is no onion nor garlic in the Valencian paella. We paired up and were talked through the process - I guess it took around 75 minutes to cook but our paella was very tasty.
The wines and tapas were lovely too.
A very enjoyable experience.

Quick overview!
It was a great overview of the city for someone on a crunched time schedule. We saw a lot of the highlights of the city and Carlos was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. It was evident that he loved Barcelona throughout the tour. We were only in town for a weekend and this was a great way to see highlights.

Excellent trip
The guide had a good knowledge of the city and had a good sense of humour. He allowed enough time for any questions at each stop, the cycling was easy enough for inexperienced cyclists.
The trip was good value for money and easy to find, we would thoroughly recommend this trip.

A Relaxing and Well-Worth-It Private Tour Experience
I was initially a bit skeptical since everything seemed completely sold out, and I wasn’t sure if the tour would actually go ahead. However, in the end, we had a wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide was super relaxed and friendly, while still providing a really informative and engaging experience.
It was definitely worth choosing the private tour over a group or audio tour, especially as I was traveling with my older parents—it made everything more comfortable, flexible, and enjoyable for us all.
Thank you so much!

Alhambra in Granada Spain
When looking at what to do in Granada, there is really one option you HAVE to do. Visit The Alhambra and the palaces within. Ahmed was our tour guide and gave a very interesting and educational tour! The ingenuity and architectural design was beyond amazing! You definitely need to see it with your own eyes! Washington Irving visited in the 1800s and it was because of his book about Alhambra that they started to restore it and the palaces. It became a UNESCO site in 1984 as well as the old town built outside the Alhambra walls but within the outerwalls. People still live in this area the houses from the 14th to 16th century! Also now a UNESCO site!

Exceptional Tour Guide - Maria
Maria was an amazing tour guide. From start to finish she was very passionate and exceptionally articulate with explaining the history and significance of each part of Alhambra and the Gardens. We moved at a very good pace, where she was able to figure out how to perfectly time moving from site to site, while avoiding massive tour groups. She also was very approachable and made the tour highly valuable for the price. The weather was perfect, and overall, would highly recommend anyone to book this tour.

Top tour and great value for money!!!
Our tour was fantastic and excellent value for money. Over the course of the evening, we visited four wonderful local spots and enjoyed a wide variety of tapas and drinks. At each stop, our guide provided thoughtful explanations about the origins and cultural significance of what we were tasting, along with fascinating insights into the importance of food in Valencia’s traditions and daily life.
The food itself was outstanding, and we had the chance to try several dishes we would never have thought to order on our own. By the end of the tour, we left with full bellies, a much deeper appreciation of Valencia’s food culture, and a long list of great recommendations for the rest of our stay. Highly recommended! 😄🍷🍤

Lucky to find these a few...
Lucky to find these a few weeks before visit date (Alhambra tickets sell out quickly) - only option that also included Nasrid Palaces. Excellent skip-the-line tour with a knowledgeable guide - ours was Amine, who had an excellent knowledge of all the components that make the Alhambra special - the history, architecture, Arabic language, and even botany in light of the various gardens on the palace grounds.

There’s no end to the fun with Valencia tours. The birthplace of paella has much more to offer than just the famous seafood-and-rice dish—though you should definitely try making it yourself while you’re in town. Visit the hot springs of Montanejos, the fairy tale town of Peñíscola, or row a boat through Albufera National Park. Or simply soak up the vibe of the city on a guided walk or tuk-tuk ride that highlights centuries of history.
