- Since we start the collections in Valencia until we return from the Albufera, it has an estimated duration of 4 hours.
- We will not bathe on the beach or lake in this activity.
- Throughout the year, we recommend that clients bring a jacket, sweater or sweatshirt for the boat ride, since at sunset it can get cold.
- You can take your own food but you can't eat on the bus, you can only eat on the boat ride.
- This activity does not have free time. Only 5 minutes to use the bathroom before taking the boat ride.
- You have booked this experience: transportation from various pick-up points + excursion led by an official guide in the selected language + reservation management for the boat ride guaranteeing availability. (Bus + guide + management of reservations, so that you only worry about having a good time!)
- The return transportation is included. With the same pick-up stops.
- If you make the check out of your hotel you can take your luggage, as long as it is a cabin suitcase or a small backpack. You must notify us to guarantee space.
- If you go at the afternoon: the schedule is approximated, we go to the best time to see the sunset from the lake (could change your pick up time 5 or 10 minutes)

I was not completely satisfied with the tour, certain aspects were not as advertised. (1) Offered “Boat trip in an electric boat: the sustainable pleasure of silence.” The boat was not quiet and electric It was a loud fossil-fuel burning engine. (2)We did not visit a traditional Valencian “barraca” nor did the tour guide explain the change in itinerary. (3) The tour was offered in “English or Spanish”. I did not expect one tour guide dividing the group and repeating everything first for one group and then the other. The tour lacked cohesion with the guide switching back and forth between languages.
I contacted the tour provider with these comments. They gave completely reasonable responses. They try to use electric boats, but one was not available. They had to skip the barraca because of traffic. The tour is bilingual.
For the price we paid, I would expect the tour guide to provide clear updates regarding any change in itinerary during the tour. Further, the tour company could have offered us a discount on another booking as compensation. I was disappointed with the customer service provided.

On that day, due to heavy traffic, the group arrived late and unfortunately couldn’t visit the barraca. At the pier, high demand meant electric boats were not available, so standard boats were used.

Expensive but a superb trip to a beautiful area of Valencia. Joaquin our guide was v knowledgeable and great company going out of his way to inform us of the area and its culture.
Enjoyed a lovely walk into the forest and along the canal before a peaceful and very memorable trip onto the lakes

pick-up was on time. At the first stop is wasn’t made clear when we got off the bus that we would be there for a while. If we had known we would have taken our coats. Ground was uneven in places so comfortable shoes needed & if you’re bitten easily take mosquito spray! Unfortunate we weren’t taken to ‘Visit a traditional Valencian “barraca”: the iconic thatched house of the Albufera region’ as advertised! This trip would have been easily done without a guide

The tour is a great way to experience the natural beauty of the area adjacent to Valencia, and learn something about the history and lifestyle associated with Albufera. It’s a nice walk on a boardwalk into the wetlands, a lovely ride through them on a local-style boat and a look at a traditional fishing cottage. A great trip for birders too, especially during migration season. Our guide, Benito, was fun and very informative, speaking in Spanish and English throughout.

The boat ride was nice and the sunset was relaxing! However, I wouldn’t rate this is a top to do activity. The tour guide was very nice, but the tour was a bit unorganized and we didn’t know what was happening when/what was next. If we were in Valencia for a few weeks I’d recommend this, but if you only have a few days I’m not sure it’s worth it.

It's a great half-day excursion from the heart of Valencia. It had a good balance of structured and unstructured time. I especially liked our guide's overview of the area and the history of the Albufera lagoon turned lake. The boat ride was very nice--lots of excited kids. Our guide was terrific.

What I loved about it:
1) They allowed me to go solo.
2) There was a light snack provided for the morning tour (water/soda/beer + fruit salad).
3) The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and have answered all the questions and more about the park and just Valencia and Spain in general.
4) They texted me right after I booked to give me all the contacts necessary and sent me the time and the geo location with all the pointers on where to find them in case I get lost.
5) The tour guide went above and beyond to make sure the group had a great time and got the most out of the trip. Thank you so much!
6) The company whose boat we used didn't have a diesel engine but rather electric which is better for the environment. Outstanding attention to detail, thank you!
7) The customer service was impeccable before, during, and after the tour.

We had an amazing experience on this tour! The company was excellent at keeping us informed through WhatsApp, which made everything run smoothly. The bus was comfortable and air-conditioned, making the journey pleasant. Our guide, Anais, was both knowledgeable and charming—she welcomed questions and encouraged conversation. Her passion for the Albufera and conservation was truly inspiring. Anais also gave us great tips for the rest of our time in Valencia. The boat ride through the lagoon and the walk through the park was stunning, and although it was a hot day, we really enjoyed walking through the expansive natural landscape all the way to the beach. The natural environment, with its birds and serene beauty, was unforgettable. If you’re looking for something unique outside the city and love nature, we highly recommend this tour!

The sunset boat ride was absolutely beautiful. The first part of the journey is in the park on the boardwalk. I debated whether this part of the tour is necessary in the hot summer months. Although I appreciated the history and seeing the birds in their natural habitat, most of the time I was thinking about how hot it was and that I needed to keep drinking water. Most of the talked were in unshaded areas, which was hard to avoid just due to how the park is set up. I think I would enjoy this first part of the tour more in cooler months. The last part of the tour was the sunset boat ride, which was amazing. The boats are electric which makes them very quiet. The birds are not scared of the boats. It is a beautiful place and very peaceful.

Absolutely amazing, a very well organised tour, Eva was really lovely, explained everything in Spanish and then in English. The walk through the nature reserve was interesting, but what was more incredible was the sunset over the lake.

Very nice experience. I definitely recommend doing this trip in the evening to enjoy the sunset. The excursion includes approximately 30–50 minutes of walking outdoors (at a slow pace with many stops), so it might be quite difficult in the morning under the sun. The entire excursion was well planned and very informative. Our guide did a great job explaining everything in both Spanish and English.
My only suggestion would be to offer separate excursions in English and Spanish, as switching between the two languages might be tiring for some people.
Overall, a wonderful experience in Albufera that truly helps you relax and connect with nature!

This as a wonderful and beautiful experience. You cannot come to València and not visit the abufera. We enjoyed Benito as our guide very much as well as the rich history and knowledge he brought about the abufera and Valencia.
