The Montanejos and Navajas tour was a great experience and a perfect way to see some of the natural attractions close to Valencia.
Both stops involved visits to beautiful nature with fantastic waterfalls and thermal water.
Ivan our tour guide was fantastic, he was great to chat with and led the tour very well. It was great to chat to him about life in Valencia and he went above and beyond to make sure those on the tour had a great time.

Lovely tour with exceptionally friendly guides Kiki and Miguel. Both the thermal pool and the waterfall were lovely to swim in. Water shoes would be a benefit though. Chatting to the rest of the group was nice from different corners of the globe.

A lovely drive out of Valencia into the mountains with our lovely guide Kika. We went on a Sunday which was very busy at all locations but still well worth the visit. The short hike (trainers required not crocs or opened toed sandals) provided beautiful views of the river and Montanejos. The swim in the natural river canyon was beautiful - such a stunning location. Lunch was ok. Then final trip to the waterfall with a swim and lots of photos of/with the falls. Another beautiful location. We really enjoyed our day and mixing with our group of lovely people and seeking recommendations for València from Kika. Finished up with an ice-cream to end the day before the drive back to the city.

We traveled in July 2025 to Valencia, and the excursion to the thermal springs is a must see.
From the start Ivan, our tour guide from Batwalking.com was really hospitable and eager to make us comfortable. The pick up point is really easy to find, it was by the stadium for us. I messaged the company via WhatsApp the night before as I had a question and they got back to me straight away. They also WhatsApp me in the morning to check I was okay getting to the mini bus.
Ivan was great in introducing the group and making us all friends for the day. We travelled to the thermal springs and the waterfalls and there was lots of energy.
The springs and waterfalls are incredible and a must see if you are in Valencia. The mountains are quite an awesome experience.
The lunch was good, we were offered a selection of sandwiches and a drink. We were also offered bottles of cold water.
When we swam, the hosts kindly offered to watch our belongings.
I wasn’t sure whether to go for the cheaper shorter tour or the more expensive full day tour with food - in really glad I went for the full day tour.
I had read a review which said that there are too many tourists. I went on a Thursday and it was absolutely fine.
Again I would really recommend Ivan and the company Batwalking.com. They were really eager to please.

Everything about this trip was great, the tour guides were fun and knowledgeable and we had a great group of fellow travellers.
There was a short hike at the start of the tour which was sold as a gentle hike but was in fact quite tricky in places, but the stop at the thermal springs was absolutely beautiful and lunch was great.
After lunch we headed to girlfriend falls which was fabulous but we didn’t have very long there and it was really slippery on some of the rocks which was a little unnerving.
Overall I would recommend this trip but suggest taking some good trainers for the hike and sturdy sea shoes for the water stops.

I'm sorry about the sneakers and water shoes, but when people make a reservation, I send them all the information via WhatsApp about what they need, including the sneakers and water shoes. But some people don't listen to me; it's not my fault. Thanks for your review anyway.

Tour guide was excellent and springs were pretty neat to swim in. Waterfall was ok. Had a great time with the group, but the beach is a lot closer to Valencia for a similar experience (swimming and hangout). However I would say this is still a very good experience with lots of fun little stops and making new friends in the air conditioned bus on a hot summer day if that is what you are looking for.

You can't compare the beach with the mountains. Here we see waterfalls, a river where you can swim, surrounded by mountains and lush vegetation, beautiful forests. This isn't just about swimming, but about enjoying mountain nature, something you'll never find on the beach.

This was an amazing experience! The tour guys were awesome - they provided a lot of information about the sites, and free time at the springs to swim on our own. The lunch was very good, I definitely recommend this day trip while in the area.

Great guides. Be sure to bring water shoes as the mineral springs goes over some rocks. Shoes would help. We highly recommend.

This was the best day of our family vacation! Ivan was an amazing guide. He was so cheerful. He was invested in making our day special. The group was small with only 8 people. We started with introducing ourselves and where we were from.
The visit to the waterfall was beautiful. Ivan told us about the history of the area. He was happy to take pictures of my family.
The short hike to see the Spanish Civil War trenches was historically interesting. My tennis shoes did just fine for the hike. Ivan always had water ready for us in the van if we got thirsty.
The springs were beautiful. We changed in the portable bathrooms. The water was cool but was easy to get used to it. I wore Chaco sandals to make the walking in the water more comfortable. Ivan provided noodle floaties to help make the floating in the deeper water easier. He swam out 2 floaties for my girls who forgot to bring them. They were grateful to have them delivered. I had a Pelican waterproof bag for my phone. It took excellent pictures. The beauty of the springs was amazing.
The lunch was a 3 course meal at a fancy hotel. The calamari was amazing!
I would highly recommend this trip with Ivan as your guide! It will be a core memory for my family.

The cave and springs are absolutely beautiful, and our guide was excellent! Lots of communication and fun mini lessons about the geography and local plant types.
My only "note" is all the hikes we did in Spain were more intense than expected, based on past experiences hiking in europe and the US. The views are absolutely worth it, but "hiking shoes recommended" should be interpreted as "closed toed shoes mandatory" due to steep inclines and lots of loose rock. This is not a hike for sandles or Crocs, and maybe bring a knee brace or walking stick.
Not a fault of this company/tour/guide though as I noticed this with our other hikes as well

The tour guide from “get your guide” Miguel was amazing and incredible at his job. Kind and knowledgeable providing excellent customer service. However the actual tour itself - the hike isn’t really a hike the thermal springs are beautiful to look at and great for a swim to cool off - however the dam is not worth stopping to have a look at - a proper hike for 1-2 hours would’ve been better but that potentially could’ve been our fault for booking the incorrect tour. Miguel is too good for the quality of this tour he should be on tours that are “once-in-a-lifetime” trips.

El Salto was super cold but refreshing. The Spring was a mix of cold and warm. Weird and cool. Miguel made everyone feel like family. He's hilarious with a level of sarcasm thats just on point. Loved this tour. And such a safe driver that I fell asleep. And the best part, really, was the fact that we saw one mountain goat and some shortcut.

Miguel was a fantastic tour guide accompanied by Paola! Miguel got the group connected immediately and made the whole trip feel as though you were being shown around by your very funny and informative friend, whilst still being completely professional and keeping our safety and enjoyment front of mind.
The waterfall was a fantastic spectacle followed by lunch and swimming in the thermal springs. A fantastic and memorable way to end our honeymoon. Thank you Miguel and Paola!

Wonderful day’s excursion with the very charismatic, entertaining & gorgeous Miguel as our tour-guide. The girlfriend waterfall was a delight - we got to dip in the natural spring pool there and get the ‘money shot’ of the waterfall cascading down on us! Then on to the natural springs at Montanejos - here we enjoyed further swimming - followed by lunch and more time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Before we knew it we were back on board our bus in full ‘sing-song’ mode as the day came to an end. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience as a solo traveller, it was a fantastic way to meet new people.

Easy to locate the group at Mestalla stadium. Directly under the bat at entry A3. Waterfall stop was beautiful and serene. The thermal springs was very nice and quite busy. Bring water shoes. Miguel is a delightful host who made us feel safe and cared for the entire time. We took our lunch but there is a little open air place to order food and drinks. Miguel watched our things so we could swim carefree. Bring a waterproof bag for your phone to take photos. Great experience overall.
