My first paella - review (July 11, 2026)
This was an unforgettable experience taking this class. The instructors were very knowledgeable about the history and process of paella and sangria. They were patient and engaging, explained every step as we went along. They got everyone involved. Good instructions, very personable, nice touch of humor and made a lasting impression! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

What an amazing...
What an amazing experience. Daniel was very pleasant, extremely knowledgable (seeing as he’s from Valencia) and his skills as a Chef made us feel as if we’ve been doing this for years. The facilities and kitchen were very nice. If you can book the early timeframe I would suggest it so that you can walk through the alleys on your way to the market with him to pick up some of the produce for your paella. At the facilities, Pau was waiting for us with our ‘Welcome’ cava. He then continued to speak and introduce us to the wines we would be tasting during our experience as well as some tapas. Daniel and Pau worked in tandem like a well oiled machine and you’d be missing out on one of the best Valencia experiences if you book anywhere else. Muchisimas gracias a los dos y hasta la proxima 10/10.

Great Day at the Authentic Paella Cooking
We had a wonderful time. Well organised and plenty of laughs and information. Juliet contacted us the day before with a reminder of our meeting point. The Paella cooking course is a little way out of the centre but all transport arranged and it was good to see some of the countryside. Rafa is brilliant at the cooking of Paella and offers loads of additional information. What was also nice was it was a small group around 10 of us so sitting down to eat our cooked Paella was liking sitting at a table with friends. Would highly recommend.

Make your day "Any Sunday"
We would highly recommend taking Jose's cooking class. We wished we could give him more Stars.
It was not just another Paella cooking class. The food was delicious! We learned and understand now the proper Valencian Paella cooking. It was a beautiful learning experience of the Valencian food, culture, and Jose personal journey. Jose guided us though this culinary journey from his initial aperitif, tapas, drinks, Paella, and finishing with a twist on a Spanish light dessert of course "Chef Jose" style.
Chef Jose is a wonderful teacher, personable, authentic, funny. Vive la vida Valenciana, Any day is truly a Sunday!

It’s all about the tapas.
Tapas are one of the top reasons to visit Spain. Maria took us on a tour of the old city and gave us a great perspective of the old and new. But this tour is about tapas and local favorite places to enjoy them. Sant Jaume was my favorite and worth a return visit. Best of all, Maria was great company and my wife and I enjoyed spending a memorable afternoon with her.

Excellent and fun experience
Group of 10 at a large table. Nice clean well equipped kitchen. Started with a few snacks and water/sangria. The chef was excellent and funny. He explained the 3 things we would be cooking (tortilla, chicken/rabbit paella and cake) particularly the different types of paella and what you could add versus not. He explained preparing things (hands on) as well particularly how to cook the paella and the pitfalls of not doing so.
