We would pick you up from your Rapid City hotel at 6:30-6:45 pm in 7 or 12 passenger van depending on if we have others going. It is a 45 minute drive to Mt Rushmore. You would have half an hour to get to the amphitheater to get a seat for the program that starts at 8:00 pm. There is a 10 minute Ranger Talk about some topic about the 4 presidents. After the talk is a 20 minute video about the growth of the country in relation to the 4 presidents. At 8:30 pm, the Star Spangled Banner is sung and the lights go on the faces. Veterans and military are invited to the stage to help retire the flag and be honored. It is about a 45 minute program. We do have blankets for you in your vans if it is a chilly night. But, plan on bringing a jacket as it cools off once the sun goes down. We would get you back to Rapid City around 9:45 pm.

The tram ride is a MUST while in Palm Springs

The tram ride is thrilling. It is a tremendous relief from the heat down below... a good 20-30 degrees lower at the top. The wilderness that stretches out from the Mt Top Station is gorgeous and there are two hikes offered for those not heading out into the wilderness. The food is moderately good, just cafeteria food. Avoid the lines by going to the viewing platforms while the line dies down immediately following the arrival of a tram. The viewing platforms are well worth a visit and the views are exquisite. Be warned, if you use Viator to purchase a ticket for the tram, you are going through a "third party" and all you get is a voucher that has to be traded in for a ticket with a time for your tram ride. It will be when there is room on a tram... which means you could easily wait 90 minutes... we did. There are some tables and chairs in the shade among trees where you can sit to wait. I wish I had understood better what the voucher represented and that we would have to wait in line for 15 minutes to get a ticket then wait 90 minutes for available space on a tram. Still, it was worth it and I'd do it again.

The lower Antelope canyon trail / tour is short ... but can be a bit trecherous for some. There are steep stairs, tight spots and unlevel ground. We loved it and the scenery was breath-taking. Just preparing you. A must see and our guide was very informative.

We had a fantastic time. We arrived late season and the captain and crew knew exactly what to do and where to go to get us up close and personal with a momma wale and a baby. We have been on three tours before this in various “HOT SPOTS” around the world and we never saw a thing. This trip we saw several wales breaching in the background while a momma and baby entertained us for a full two hours.

Guaranteed a fun filled experience. It was a thrilling boat ride with Izaiah, Charlie and Makana, the captain with a great sense of humor. Good value for money. The canyon was absolutely magnificent. The guide was excellent. She helped with photography so we could get the best pictures and gave us history of the area, the culture, and dangers of the canyon. It was a small group and they are the only ones that can tour this canyon so it was not crowded. For horseshoe bend we went to a private viewing location and it was magnificent. If you have not seen secret antelope Canyon, it is a must see. I highly recommend this Tour.

We had an awesome day on the boat, snorkeling and enjoying the beautiful trip to Molokini. The staff was wonderful and kind (Nick, Christian and Maca) and Captain Kiwi was funny, knowledgeable and made the trip so worth while. I would highly recommend booking a day adventure with them, and it seems that everyone on the boat was having a wonderful time.
