What are people saying about Tuscany

Great wine and food, not much time in towns
The whole experience was very good, from easy pick-up in city center to amazing wine and food to stunning views. The only thing missing was the stop in the town of Montalcino. This was not explained and disappointing. The wine and food stops are ample time but we did have time to see anything in the town of Monterpulciano other than the underground cellar and Pienza was very fast. Do this tour for the wine, not necessarily the towns. We learned a lot about Tuscan history and very much enjoyed our trip.

Best tour EVER!
Excellent tour with Fabi!
She was amazing—perfect mix of informative and gives space for tourists to do their own thing. The tour was incredible and it was the most wonderful tour. Loved every second of it! Swimming I. The Mediterranean and wandering the Cinque Terra streets were a complete highlight. Would do again in a second! Favorite tour of all time!

Great tour guide
Marta was our tour guide and Simon was our bus driver. Both excellent! With the excessive heat in Pisa Marta made sure we could take the small train to the entrance (a 10 minute walk) in all sun. Very appreciative of his as we had some that would have had a difficult time walking.

Guidance
Great experience! We planned ahead before our trip and purchased tickets in advance for Santa Maria del Fiore, including access to the 463-step climb to the top. The views were absolutely worth it.
That said, I wouldn't spend time waiting in the long line just to see the cathedral's interior. If you only have about four hours in Florence, there are many other beautiful churches, museums, and historic sites that are a better use of your limited time.

It was a nice tour with...
It was a nice tour with great guides but would have preferred to have more time in Pisa as it was more laid back and relaxing, lots a green space to sit on the grass and enjoy the views. We had less than an hour to explore so unable to climb the tower or explore the town, which was bigger than I anticipated, lots of restaurants and shops that we were unable to visit.
Florence was nice to see but very busy, spent 3 hours there. If I had to do it over again I would have chosen a day tour in Pisa Instead.

Best half day trip ever with the world’s best tour guides and driver!
The best experience with the world’s best tour guides (Samuele and Lily) and the best driver Mikele (sorry if I’ve misspelled your names!). We went on a half day tour to Pisa from Rome. What a magical place. The guides treated us like king and queen (and for everyone else too). The team could take you anywhere and make you have a magical experience too. We were so humbled by how we were treated and looked after. This trip is really suitable for people with difficulties with walking so don’t say no - say yes and GO

This tour was exactly...
This tour was exactly what we expected when booking. We chose the option of having free time in each location. While we would have loved a little more time in Siena, we got exactly the amount of time promised in the itinerary and now we know we'd love to go back! The bus was a little warm but it was an uncharacteristically hot day so I don't blame the tour. Our tour guide, Frederico, sent us recommendations for things to do in each location and was communicative and friendly. Because many other tour busses arrived and departed around the same time from both Siena and San Gimignano, the towns were extremely crowded and a little hectic to navigate, but that's no fault of the tour, its just the nature of trying to coordinate a day trip to a popular city. If you are looking for easy transportation to two of the most beautiful and history rich towns in Tuscany, this is a great option- but be warned, you'll be wishing you had a full day in Siena to explore!

Learned so much!
This tour was excellent. Our guide was so knowledgeable, took time to answer our questions and gave us interpretations and histories of many famous works of art. The pace was perfect. We had 2 teens, 2 parents and a grandparent and and everyone stayed engaged start to finish. Highly recommend!

Ivano was the best tour...
Ivano was the best tour guide!!! We have done multiple guided museum tours, and Ivano has been the best by far. He was super kind, funny, and knowledgeable. The Accademia is a must do in Florence - seeing David was an experience I’ll never forget, and the background knowledge that Ivano provided really enhanced the experience.

Good itinerary for a one day port stop
This was a very good way to see two must-see cities during our Livorno port stop. Lucca was charming. Since we were there on a Sunday we also had the opportunity to peruse the outdoor antiques market. The optional walking tour provided by our guide was a good way to see the important sites of the town. During our spare time we opted to walk the park-like top of the city walls - highly recommended. During the Pisa leg of the day we chose the option to climb the leaning tower, which was a challenge, but totally worth it. Plus it also got us entry into the awe inspiring cathedral. This part of the day was on your own. Our guide for the day Kiyko was very charming and provided a good overview of the cities during the bus rides.

Lots to see in a short...
Lots to see in a short period of time. Knowledgeable, flexible, friendly guide. Nice to have a motor coach drive you home after all the fun! We were able to see 4 of the 5 cities that make up Cinque Terra. We spent an appropriate amount of time in each location. The motor coach to La Spezia was pleasant as were the ferry rides and the final motor coach back was key. We were all exhausted by the end of the day and the driver took great care to get us home happily and safely. This tour was well planned and excuted - would definitely book again.

Refreshing and Lovely
This was a delightful little 1-hour small boat tour that we took down the Arno, about 30 mins up, with lively discussion about the historical buildings along both sides, and 30 mins back after turning around. Our young guide was very informative and kind, and those who wanted it were served chilled white wine along the way and offered umbrellas for the sun if desired (we didn't need it). Breezy and sunny, the weather was just perfect, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the boat and afterward our guide was on hand to offer transportation and other tips for around the city that we asked him. The meeting and ending point was a small tour office near Ponte alle Grazie that was slightly difficult to find, but allow yourself a few extra minutes to find it, and eventually other tour participants showed up (also a bit unsure) and we knew we were in the right place. Then our guide came out on time and greeted us and walked us a few feet down to the boat dock. Couldn't have been happier!
