What are people saying about Tokyo

So much fun
We had an early time slot at 1000. Best to go early. I didn’t know this but we were able to leave after the tea in our kimonos. We didn’t have to be back until the evening to return them. So we were able to walk around Tokyo and take pictures dressed up. The experience was so fun and my daughters loved it. The ladies who dressed us were so kind and it was a great experience. I would highly recommend.

Great Ramen making experience in Shinbuya
We really enjoyed this experience. You will make your noodles from scratch and use a great vintage ramen press. The facilities was super clean and everything was prepped and ready to go. They do prepare the broth ahead of time (three types) as they take a long time to prepare. Our team was fantastic and very engaging. You can purchase beer or other drinks as well. This really exceeded our expectations and was fun and we got to eat our creations! Thank you and we recommend this experience at the Ramen Dojo!

Wonderful fun activity
Hana was amazing and made the activity. On top of being a former University level history professor, she was great with my 10 and 12 yr old- so kind and the class itself was a lot of fun and relaxing. It also brought us to a perfect part of town in Shibuya/Harajuku and Hana gave us a ton of insider recommendations on what else to do while in Tokyo. If I had to do it all again, I would've had our activity with her first ;) highly recommend.

Yusei made our day!
Yusei was our tour guide and he was great! I'm so glad we had him to take us around and point out specific items to try. Otherwise we may not have ended up trying as many new things, or would have ended up in long lines unnecessarily. Don't eat breakfasts before this tour! You will eat quite a bit along the way.

True Japanese Cooking Class with a Fantastic Instructor
Yuca was amazing. She was super friendly and welcoming. She was extremely informative and was more than willing to answer our questions. The class was small and intimate. She included a wonderful guide and recipes for all the dishes we cooked. We made delicious ramen and gyoza. Overall wonderful experience.

Great Beginner Class
Owa was a great teacher and spoke very good English. She made the art of making mochi seem quite easy - great class for beginners. I liked that she taught the philosophy behind wagashi and incorporated real world examples of where mochi is part of Japanese festivals and holidays. The best part was getting to eat a bunch of mochi at the end!

An Incredible Experience
An incredible experience!
They had a team of people who showed us how to make sushi and provided some history and background. They were enthusiastic which brought the whole experience to life, and our family had an incredible time. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.
A definite must for a visit to Tokyo.

Goyza and Ramen making class
This was such a fun and informative class! The goyzas and ramen were delicious!! It was so much fun not only making the dishes, but also learning the history of how they came to be. And the recipes were emailed to us, so that we can go home and make the dishes ourselves!! Highly recommend this adventure!

Make a wonderful lunch for yourself!
Small group, great instructors, great menu. We each prepared our own meal. We leaned techniques in Japanese cooking cuisine ,about the ingredients they use. I fell in love with Japanese cuisine and intend to practice it at home. We were not hungry but we ate it all. In the following days bought the egg pan , cooking tools and a lot of spices.

I didn't eat sushi but now I do
I am someone who did not eat sushi but after this class I do. The chef is really good and his skills are admirable. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. The host is also very knowledgeable and English speaking, he translate for the chef. The staff was very helpful and I had one laughing because I put too much wasabi on one of mines and I swear my eyes popped out my head but I could breath better lol. I was a little nervous about eating raw fish but it was delicious. Definitely will do again when I go back with a group.

Shopping, cooking, eating, drinking!
I loved that the experience started with a trip to the supermarket. April was the best cooking teacher and guide. She is very knowledgeable and encouraged us every step of our cooking journey. It was also fun to have beer and sake tasting during our cooking lesson. The cooking studio is very spacious. And well set up.

Loved!
Booked the night before and was easy and quick to find in Asakusa area. The host Hiya was very friendly and explained the history of matcha. We also learned how to spot high quality powder. We made it with traditional tools and then she helped us take a family photo. We got to enjoy traditional matcha with sweets which made for a great treat.
