Super fun experience making sushi... with not only step by step directions on how to make nigiri and hand rolls, but also some interesting history and trivia too. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, it was a nice way to spend a couple of hours and pretty satisfying to eat the sushi you made! Would highly recommend the experience.

So much fun. Learned a lot. Made an 8 piece maki roll and 8 pieces of nigiri per person. So full and yummy!!! Rino the instructor was great, eveyrone spoke great English

It is a must do experience. Anyone can master sushi making with this course. It was easy and a lot of fun. The ingredients were good quality and delicious. You get to eat all you can make.

This was a fun sushi making experience that was suitable for all ages. Our kids (11 and 13) had no trouble following the directions and enjoyed it. Our guides were helpful and friendly. Helpful hint - “set” means like a combo meal in Japan… so only order the sake set for adults!

Great experience! Nigiri sushi was much harder than I expected and they break down the steps wonderfully. My ten year old loved making sushi, and afterwards it was a very filling lunch!

I have a sushi-making kit at home, but never knew where to start. After doing this class, I’ve gained some confidence and can’t wait to go home to apply what I’ve learned. The staff is wonderfully kind and friendly, and I had a lot of fun! (One tip for Ken: please slow down a tiny bit when you speak; that will make your words much more clearer than they already are.)

With friendly and energetic staff, sushi making was a great time. Well organized, a bit educational and most of all FUN, this experience combined an entertaining do-it-yourself style, with pre-planned ingredients to maximize the time spent making sushi. The portion size overall was very generous and the fish was good quality. The staff were helpful as we made our maki and nigiri, ensuring we successfully built our plates with something edible.
I appreciated the variety of ingredients and focus on the more traditional Japanese types of sushi.
Additionally, they accommodated my shellfish allergy with no issue. My portion size remained the same and my substitution was good and matched the flavor profile.

This was a great experience for our whole family. The instructors were friendly and knowledgable. They group size was small so you can get help when needed. It was nice to have options that did not have raw fish so everyone was able to enjoy what they made. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I did a sushi making class with 3 friends while in Tokyo -- it was a highlight of our time there! Ken, Sato, and Momo were just wonderful. Funny, engaging, informative, and such great teachers. We were a few minutes late and absolutely mortified and they were just so kind and gracious and set such a fun and relaxing tone for the class. The beverage options during class were varied and plentiful and the sushi itself was fresh, delicious, and all 5 of us agreed, a great portion. We had so much fun, and now that we're back home we're looking forward to making the kawaii sushi we were taught in class. We loved that we were taught to make one very easy type of sushi and then the rolled sushi which takes a bit more practice and tools. If you're on the fence about this class, just do it!

Had a most delicious & entertaining experience making sushi with Yui & Ayu. I never made an inside out maki sushi or termari style sushi before so this was a good thing. The best part was eating what we made too. I am very grateful to have had this time with them.

Totally recommend this experience. We got a bit of history about sushi. All the ingredients and utensils were set up and organized well. Our sushi instructors were very friendly and helpful. I did this class with my sister and her two kids so this experience was also kid friendly.

We we quite desapointed with this course and were expected something more professional. This course is fine for families with children.
We cannot say it was a master class as the level was not there.

This was a great way to spend a few hours in Tokyo. Our instructors—Yui, Emi, and Mikoki (if I caught her name correctly)—were excellent and very helpful. We learned a lot and enjoyed the sushi. If you want sake, there’s an additional charge.
