Highly enjoyable whole day tour of Canberra, with pick up and return from and to Sydney.
Small group tour utilising a comfortable and well maintained mini bus. Our driver was also our guide for the whole days. He was excellent in every respect and his breadth of knowledge was very impressive and we were fed with lots of information relevant to the tour and as the majority of the participants were overseas visitors we also learnt a lot about Australia and how it functions. We visited all the places listed in the programme, although we didn't have anything like enough time at the individual stops. Most of the places visited we explored on our own. But we were taken into each into building by our guide, who would explain what was where and suggested areas we should perhaps not miss etc. At the Parliament House, which is absolutely vast, and which we could not have navigated on our own, he took us round and ensured that we saw all that was to be seen, and we came away almost reeling with the amount of descriptive and factual information we had been given. The was a break midway on the outward and return journeys with enough time to use the toilets and maybe have a coffee. Thie roadside services selected were first class in all respects. Although it was a long day, it was an excellent day excursion to get an overview of Canberra and one that l am most happy to recommend to others.

So glad we chose this tour!
We had a great day in the Blue Mountains thanks to our guide, Abby! This was the perfect tour with the hike to the Wentworth waterfall (including the 'Stairs of Doom'), the impromptu stop at Govett's Leap to see the Bridal Fall, and stop in Katoomba to see the Three Sisters. Abby made the day fun and chill...and she had the best playlist during the bus ride! Highly recommend.

Some of my best friends are wombats
It takes a while to get to Kangaroo Valley from Sydney, and you need to be there at dusk for the best wild animal viewing. Our guide Damon was terrific and the animals seem pretty much used to the tourists wandering around. Got great photos and had a very good pub stop.

Blue mountains are unreal
We had an amazing time exploring the Blue Mountains — what a gorgeous area of Australia ! Tom was our tour guide and was super approachable and knowledgeable. The kind of guy that I wanted to grab a beer with after the tour! Scenic world was as advertised- scenic- and the lunch stop was delicious. Great time!

If you’re ready to get out of the city and explore more of Australia, Sydney day trips are the ticket for adventure without the hassle of complicated planning. Day trips into the Blue Mountains are a popular choice with stops that might include Featherdale Wildlife Park, Scenic World, Katoomba Falls, and the Three Sisters rock formation. Many day trips include guided bush hikes, too. Another hot spot for a Sydney day trip is Hunter Valley for a gourmet foodie experience at boutique wineries and to sample goodies such as regional cheeses and chocolates.
