As we only had three days in Sydney and this was our first time in Australia, we picked this trip as it has a full itinerary. Sydney Zoo was an amazing experience as were the Blue Mountains. We also loved Scenic World. Be warned that the queues are LONG at Scenic World, but the views were spectacular. All in all, we had a wonderful day, but we definitely needed more time at the zoo. One hour is not nearly enough time to enjoy it to its fullest.
Our tour guide was really informative and the coach was very comfortable, too.
At the end, we were dropped off at Sydney Olympia Park, where we caught the ferry back to Circular Quay, so we could return to our hotel. The ferry cost is not included in the tour, but that is made clear when booking. However, it is a cheap service to use and was very enjoyable, too.

We are fist timers visiting from Canada, this was a great tour, Highly recommend it, and the young lady that took us was great, she went above and beyond to make the trip as good as possible...

This is a great way to see some great places that Sydney has to offer. The guide was very helpful and informative. Thanks

This Blue Mountain Tour provided an excellent day away for my spouse and our friends. The pick up location was convenient. The bus was on time. Irene the driver was so very pleasant, informative and delightful. The stops were timed correctly. All in all a very beautiful and pleasant and long day.
We had been touring Sydney for 3 days and it was a nice break from that beautiful and busy city.

Very nice your, with an awesome tour guide. The zoo was much too short as a visit and the scenic tour was too long and packed, but it was very organized, timely, and professional

A great way to see the Blue Mountains. The pick up location was easy to find and the stops along the way were interesting.

Our tour ended up perfect! We were afraid that it would rain and affect the sights, but we were able to see everything.
Marc, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. He passed around examples, maps, and different items to look at during the bus rides.
Sydney Zoo:
Genuinely one of the best zoos that I have been to. The animals were very happy and the Australia native animals sections were so interactive. The only con was the tour didn’t give too much time to the zoo but we were still able to see all the animals that we wanted to.
Leura:
This was a cute, small tourist town. We managed to grab the last kangaroo meat pue and it was amazing.
Echo Point:
This was the highlight of our trip. The weather was perfect so we were able to see the entirety of the Blue Mountains and Three Sisters. The views were breathtaking and not like anything we’d ever seen before (we are seasoned hikers who live in the Pacific NW… so very familiar with mountains & ranges).
Scenic World:
Marc gave us a couple tips and tricks to get through Scenic World as easily as possible, but the lines were still long enough to make it so we couldn’t do the cable car, but we still were able to see so much and walk all the trails.
Olympic Wharf:
The listing was very clear that we would end here. Marc was able to direct all of us to catch the correct ferry and send us on our way. This was a very nice ferry ride that was covered and only took about 25 minutes back into the city. Take the Barangoo ferry to pass by the Opera House and end up at the Circular Quay train station. Sit on the left side to see the Opera House on the way in.
Overall, amazing tour and our tour guide was unbeatable.

Pre information from driver are excellent.
Negative is only that end of journey is at Olympic Park. Trip home orto hotel must be organized by themselves

If there is torrential rain falling at 7 am & not expected to stop all day there is really no point in taking this almost entirely outdoor tour. You can't see mountain views through fog & rain. Difficult to enjoy animals outside when it's pouring rain & cooling temps.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
We understand how disappointing it can be when weather impacts a tour. In Australia, conditions can change quickly and don’t always affect the day as expected — rain and fog can clear and sometimes even enhance the experience.
Many of our guests are visiting Australia only once and have a single opportunity to see these iconic locations. Cancelling a tour due to weather alone would risk letting those guests down, especially as conditions often improve during the day. For this reason, tours operate in most weather conditions, and last-minute cancellations are not offered solely due to rain.
Thank you for sharing your feedback.

The Tour guide was awesome and very knowledgeable about each site we visited. The whole experience from pickup to final drop off went smoothly.
Martina_P, Jan 2026
It was great. Guide and driver were lovely and the coach thankfully was clean. My relatives from overseas got to see a very beautiful part of Australia
Kiz_D, Jan 2026
it was our first time to Australia, with a 7 year old child and a senior , it’s all wonderful. Our tour guide is very nice. And friendly. The only thing about it is that our group had no information to what our tour bus look like and how to reach out when seeing different other tour buses pass by the station. it might be a good idea to have a sign for us to line up.
Peter_N, Jan 2026
Pick up and journey to blue mountains was fine.No instructions were given on arrival about how we needed to go about getting on the rides. We went on the scenic railway. We queued 50 minutes for the scenic skyway we had to give up to get back to the coach for our departure time.We waited 20 minutes for a family still on one of the rides but left without them to go for lunch. The driver returned for them during our lunch. We then travelled to the Zoo but with all the queuing we were feeling down. The Zoo was ok but my partner wanted a photo with the Koalas but it was shut.We were then dropped off at Olympic park and a 55 minute ferry ride back to Sydney.Overall a very dear and underwhelming and expensive day for 2 people.
Rikki_L, Jan 2026
It was very rushed and we only had 45-1.5 hrs at each stop. This was not enough time to get through each attraction when there were so many people. You spent 30 mins in line just for entry or a coffee. We have done numerous tours with viator and this tour host was the most rude and rushed. Not a pleasant event.
Kimli_W, Dec 2025
This was a very nice tour of some of the Sydney Highlights ! Emma , our guide , was very personable , timely , and knowledgeable!
William_A, Dec 2025
The visit to the zoo and Scenic World were very good. The lunch break was a total waste of time. It was a short break in a city that is a total tourist trap and had very few options. The PA system on the bus did not work and the guests sitting in the back of the bus could not hear, nor understand the driver.
Rochelle_T, Dec 2025
Great experience; prompt pick up, knowledgeable guide who provided guided narration of the trip and also identified next steps of what we were going to do and how to proceed. I suggest taking the tour with The additional tickets for the cable car venues.. The only reason it was given four stars is because time at the zoo was too short, especially if you wanted to stand in line and get a picture taken with the koala. Even with that in mind, it only provided you with time to experience one area of the zoo.
Charlene_H, Nov 2025
Irene was a fantastic all the stops we made were great to from the Sydney Zoo, The Three Sisters, Scenic World and the lunch stop was great too
Rebecca_H, Nov 2025
Currently the railway is closed for 6 weeks (3 more weeks from today) the booking operators have all been notified multiple of times but failed to state it on the booking so, we were unaware of this prior to going.
Because of this we queued for over 1 hour just to go on the skyway and, did not get any time to walk in the bush or do any of the dinosaur walk.
Jeffrey_G, Nov 2025
Long but wonderful day. Beautiful Blue Mountains and three sisters. Loved the zoo and hand feeding kangaroos. Scenic world the weakest of the stops and very long lines for the aerial cars. Wonderful comfortable bus and very nice driver/ tourguide. Would have liked more time at the zoo. Cute little mountain town to have our lunch. Overall a wonderful experience and I highky recommend. this tour.

It's a long "planned" day, but the time seemed to go by quickly. The pick-up was organized, our driver Aileen shared alot of information about Australia, all of our excursion stops and even some warm, short stories about her family and herself growing up in Sydney. She communicated exactly what she was going to do and where/what we needed to do at each stop, which kept us moving according to the allotted time. Aileen's commentary throughout the bus ride made the trip enjoyable. She also provided alot of info/tips/suggestions on what we might enjoy as we approached each stop.
My only disappointment for the entire 10+ hour day: I felt too rushed at our first stop: Sydney Zoo. An hour to see all the exhibits is probably enough time, but NOT if you want to get a pic with one of their cuddly koalas. The wait in-line was about 25 mins, then it took a few more minutes to check-out and get your print and/or digital copy.
Our lunch stop in Leura was definitely a "highlight". A charming town with a lot of dining and shopping options. It exceeded my expectations of a lunch stop.
The Blue Mountains were breathtaking! I had no idea what to expect, besides "mountains". I'm grateful to have seen and experienced this natural, beautiful landscape of Australia. I enjoyed being able to use the different levels (marked paths), to get different views/pics.
Scenic View (last of the 3 scheduled stops). Located only a few minutes from the Blue Mountains scenic stop. We paid the additional fee for the tram and railroad pass, which ensured we could spend more time "boots on the ground" walking through the forested, beautiful Dinosaur Valley. The pathway is well-constructed and a an enjoyable walk (down). You'll see many dinosaurs (some are moving, audio, animatronic and some are stationary) and there's a sign with dinosaur facts at each "scene". A few stops have an audio button with recorded information about these giants who once inhabited this HUGE basin. As enjoyable as the walk down into the forest and seeing all the exhibits was, the walk back up was not fun. The weather was crisp and cool, but it wasn't an easy return for this 67 yr old!
End of the day. The bus dropped us off at the Olympic Park ferry and we had a great ferry ride and one transfer back to Circular Quay. I ❤️ LOVE Sydney's transportation strategies, they're easy to quickly understand/navigate and fairly priced.
Overall, I was very happy with the cost of this excursion, the sights I experienced and all the information I learned. My friend and I both recommend this excursion and hope you get Aileen as your guide!

Great guide - lots of good information and funny. Wonderful places to visit. The bus was modern and comfortable.
Stuart_C, Oct 2025
Great day out, well organised and made special by friendly, knowledgeable and funny guide Irene. Excellent!
Kylie_v, Oct 2025
This tour was well worth it. There was more than enough time to get around Sydney zoo, which is a lovely little zoo. Then we stopped in Leura for lunch and it’s a beautiful place I’d never have seen otherwise. Echo point was spectacular and the rides at scenic world were amazing. I couldn’t fault the day. Our tour guide Mark was very knowledgeable and had lots of interesting things to talk about.
Ivan_L, Oct 2025
It’s a great way to see this without having to fight traffic btwn Sydney and BMD.
Emma is a phenomenal guide!
Dadawn_T, Oct 2025
The trip was amazing and I couldn’t speak anything bad about the driver or the experience. I’m glad I went to this event. These memories will last a lifetime. Thank you for making my trip to Sydney one that I will cherish forever.
Danny_P, Oct 2025
Mountains were.amazing and we had a wonderful guide who was knowledgeable and very skillful as a driver.
David_J, Oct 2025
We were fortunate to have a wonderful driver and her commentary was excellent. She made all of us comfortable and the stops at the zoo, Echo Point, and Scenic World were a great way to spend the day. We took Uber back to our hotel rather than the ferry, as it was about the same price and much faster.
