- Please note the standard guided tour contains approx. 300 stairs - Low Impact. If you have limited mobility there are daily mobility access tours available on request pre-booking is required please contact the supplier directly.
- Venue access is subject to availability at the time of your tour and can change up until tour departure time.
- Please arrive at the Welcome Centre 15 minutes prior to your tour time to adhere to check in and cloaking procedures. If you are more than 5 minutes late from the start time of your tour, your tour will be forfeited.
- Please check you have selected the correct language tour for the tour you want to experience the language in
- Infants under 5 are permitted on the 1 hour tour free of charge, however still require a ticket to be booked
- One Hour Tour including Tour & Dine please check in at the Welcome Centre on the lower concourse level ten minutes prior to your tour time
- Redeem tour & dine at House Canteen or Opera Bar between 11.30am-6pm on the day of the tour.
- Redeem tour & dine at Midden by Mark Olive between 11.30am-2.30pm, or 5-6pm on the day of the tour.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 35 travelers

300 stairs up and down. Be aware when booking. Very good tour and our guide had a great knowledge of the venue and current producions. Start was prompt and the headphones made listening very easy.

Miss the booking time and date and absolutely no flexibility. I inadvertently missed the booking date that we had planned for months due to a MV accident. I explained to them that had been part of the opening ceremony in 1973. I was part of the honour guard for the Queen and subsequently supposed to have a tour of the opera house. When I explained this to the tour supervisor that we were leaving Sydney the next morning he said no tour. No sympathy or flexibility. I guess I will never get to see the inside of the Opera House.

A lot of walking and stairs but the guide moved at a pace that everyone could keep up. So interesting. The different sizes of steps were sometimes difficult

Our guide was knowledgeable and made the best use of our time. She was aware of the needs of the group and made sure everyone was comfortable. Her story of Utzen was incitful and constuction informative. I feel we had an accurate description of the design, constuction, and materials involved in creating the unique design of the opera house. A wonderful collection of the building of this magnificent structure was presented by our dedicated guide!

Excellent tour! David was so informative, interesting, friendly and knowledgeable! He was helpful and thoughtful with those that could not do so many stairs. Loved his infectious enthusiasm. The Opera House is iconic and it was terrific to see so much of it. 5+stars!
Phantom of the Opera, on the harbor, was absolutely fabulous! Incredible talent and engineering. The staff was terrific!

Our guide was very informative. You easily check in at the lower level box office, check in your backpack, get hooked up with a personal headset (a HUGE plus so you don't have to strain to hear the guide!) and you are on your way! The tour took us through the main opera house auditorium and the concert hall, and you learn quite a bit of history along the way. The tour is almost entirely indoors.
Both kids did fine—even the 6-year-old was kept occupied with the fun headset, lol. My 10-year-old wanted the tour to last longer! Plenty of benches and seats along the way if you need to rest.

This is a don’t miss Sydney experience. We learned about the architect, got to see both large venues, and hear about the three smaller venues. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Was the best one hour tour I’ve ever been on.

It was a very interesting tour but unfortunately because there were rehearsals taking place we couldn't take the photos we wanted to.
If any one is infirm there are a lot of stairs but there is an alternative route where you can use the elevator. The curator tells you what floor you have to meet him on.
I went on this tour years ago and we saw a lot more than we did on this one.
There are different tours available so pick the ones that are right for you.

Fascinating, amazing building. Great tour. Yes, several sets of stairs but manageable ; risers not too high. May not be able to take photos in some venues if stages being set up; more time to appreciate the architecture abd listen to the guide (via headset).
