- Please note the standard guided tour contains approx. 300 stairs - Low Impact. If you have limited mobility there are daily mobility access tours available on request pre-booking is required please contact the supplier directly.
- Venue access is subject to availability at the time of your tour and can change up until tour departure time.
- Please arrive at the Welcome Centre 15 minutes prior to your tour time to adhere to check in and cloaking procedures. If you are more than 5 minutes late from the start time of your tour, your tour will be forfeited.
- Please check you have selected the correct language tour for the tour you want to experience the language in
- Infants under 5 are permitted on the 1 hour tour free of charge, however still require a ticket to be booked
- One Hour Tour including Tour & Dine please check in at the Welcome Centre on the lower concourse level ten minutes prior to your tour time
- Redeem tour & dine at House Canteen or Opera Bar between 11.30am-6pm on the day of the tour.
- Redeem tour & dine at Midden by Mark Olive between 11.30am-2.30pm, or 5-6pm on the day of the tour.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 35 travelers

An absolute must-do in Sydney! As such an iconic landmark, I knew I had to explore the interior, and this guided tour did not disappoint. The guide takes you directly inside the performance halls, sharing fascinating history about the architect, the building's creation, and the diverse range of shows held here today. A thoroughly enjoyable and informative experience!
When in Sydney...you MUST tour the Opera House and if you can squeeze in a performance....you should! It's incredible!

The tour guide is very good explaining all the details. The inside look of the orchestra hall and opera hall were super. It is a bonus to see Sydney Symphony rehearsal real time. This is a lifetime experience that you won't want to miss.

When you are in Sydney, you must see the Opera House from inside. It is a grate experience. The guides are really good.
Terrific experience seeing the inside of the opera house. Very interesting and the views from inside were breathtaking.
I was super excited to learn interesting facts about the Opera House, and to be fair, there were a couple, especially in the video we watched, but I felt like our guide got super in the weeds about stuff that had nothing to do with the actual building and spoke in terms that I couldn’t follow. It reminded me a little of a college lecture.
The tour is fast, you really don’t get to see a whole lot of the place, and then it’s just done. We left sort of like huh? That’s it?
Obviously glad to have seen it and don’t regret going, especially since it’s pretty cheap, but I really feel like the information could have been way better and way more interesting.
Guide was very knowledgeable and respectful. He answered the group’s questions thoroughly and we were able to learn the history of the opera house, as well as see the amazing architecture.

I really loved the tour. The Opera house has a very unique history. The inside was beautiful and I got to see high schoolers practicing on one of the stages. Is worth the money if you are looking for something to do in Sydney.
Enjoyed it. The design of the opera house is very intentional and meticulous, even based on the human ear attestating to clever minds. Just like the fine tuned design of the universe, life & human consciousness attest to The designer & Creator God, revealed in Jesus Christ who loves you.

Seeing inside of the Opera House whilst learning about its entire history – from the initial design, through the construction, right up to the building we see today – is truly an incredible experience. And all of this was only possible thanks to our guide, Sheila, who looked after us throughout the tour and made me feel right at home, even though I was thousands of kilometres away. Every minute spent on this tour was well worth it, and I’d definitely do it again!
Our guide Steven was very knowledgeable and well informed. You could tell he was proud of the building and how it serves people. We got to see the main spaces and hear the history and construction.

What a wonderful experience learning about the Sydney Opera House, from the original concept and construction challenges to finally seeing this remarkable landmark up close. Ester was an excellent guide, speaking clearly and engaging the group with informative commentary and plenty of light-hearted jokes along the way.
Very knowledgable guide and very clear in letting us know where to walk and what to do so there was no confusion about anything. The Opera house theatres are beautiful, well worth a look, and I really enjoyed learning about how it was designed and built.

Forget taking a selfie inside. Just wasted an hour of listening to artsy horsefeathers babble accompanied by 300 pointless steps. Save your $ and take a picture from the harbor. The exterior is truly the best aspect of this landmark. This was a tremendous waste of time and $.
Peter was our guide through the Sydney Opera House. We were small group of 4 and guide had warm and relaxed atmosphere . hope that the management is aware of Peter's quality as a tour guide, his knowledge and his passion as well as his full on dedication to what he does. There is a Sydney Opera house and there is The Peter as a part of it.With his amazing character and knowledge of the history of Sydney Opera house this tour took another level that will forever stay in my memory. And experience like that is impossible to put in the photo that is why I didn't take many photos there because I was afraid I will miss something that Peter would say.I can see Petar training new generation of tour guides of the Sydney Opera house to share that amazing knowledge and spirit of the Sydney Opera house.
