- Please note the standard guided tour contains approx. 300 stairs - Low Impact. If you have limited mobility there are daily mobility access tours available on request pre-booking is required please contact the supplier directly.
- Venue access is subject to availability at the time of your tour and can change up until tour departure time.
- Please arrive at the Welcome Centre 15 minutes prior to your tour time to adhere to check in and cloaking procedures. If you are more than 5 minutes late from the start time of your tour, your tour will be forfeited.
- Please check you have selected the correct language tour for the tour you want to experience the language in
- Infants under 5 are permitted on the 1 hour tour free of charge, however still require a ticket to be booked
- One Hour Tour including Tour & Dine please check in at the Welcome Centre on the lower concourse level ten minutes prior to your tour time
- Redeem tour & dine at House Canteen or Opera Bar between 11.30am-6pm on the day of the tour.
- Redeem tour & dine at Midden by Mark Olive between 11.30am-2.30pm, or 5-6pm on the day of the tour.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 35 travelers

My husband and I enjoyed the tour a lot. It was so interesting to learn so many details about this architectural masterpiece! Our tour guide did an excellent job. It was funny and interesting experience. 10 stars! 😁

Great way to see the Opera House - inside and out. We were fortunate to have a great guide and to be able to see inside both of the large performing spaces on a beautiful sunny, winter day. This is a must-do if you're not going to attend a performance at the Opera House and highly recommended even if you are.

Only an hour. Well worth the time. Fascinating, beautiful and amazing. We stepped off the plane, checked in and went straight there. Perfect first day activity.

The opera house tour was fantastic - the best thing we did during our 5 day Sydney stay. It was great to see behind the scenes including getting to experience orchestra and opera rehearsals in the concert halls. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. Very highly recommended!

Very informative tour guide, Thomas, took up all around the Opera House. Please be aware the tour lasts an hour and includes around 300 stairs to access both the Concert and Joan Sutherland Halls but it is well worth it.

Very neat experience. The guide offered tons of fun and interesting information about the Opera house from its early stages of planning all the way to its current standing and uses today. The opera house is absolutely stunning and getting to know so much information really adds to the appreciation of an Australian staple.

This was a great tour to conveniently see the inside of the Sydney Opera House. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the Opera House (history, architecture, current and former performances, etc.) We casually walked around the inside and a bit of the outside to see this iconic site.

This tour was fabulous! Highly recommend it! Our tour guide was great and she gave us lots of details. There are a lot of stairs throughout the tour, but they are spread out.

Opera house tour - excellent - a chance learn the story from design to completion and more with a visit to the concert hall, other music halls as well as some usually unseen areas. The headphones we were given at the start of the tour were a great asset, allowing clear audio throughout the tour. Our guide Shelia was an amazing guide, providing an informative, interesting tour. Well worth doing.

Not an interesting tour. You can't take pictures inside. The tour guide focused too much on trying to crack jokes..(pilates, balding, being short, being crushed by the weight of the tons of cement above us etc)
The most informational was the video you see right at the beginning.

The opera house is beautiful. The tour guide was kind and knowledgeable. You can’t take any pics of the stages or the theaters. Also the concert hall was closed so unable to view.

Very knowledgeable about its architect and architecture. Gives insights to why it took so long to complete. It was very interesting as to who has performed there and how different rooms are used.

This was such an amazing experience. I’m usually not one to like museum type tours so I thought I wouldn’t like it, but I loved it and glad I did it. Our tour guide was amazing too!
