Active Blue mountains tour

If you want to do a Blue mountains tour that is more than just stopping at overlooks, this tour is great! We did a fantastic hike to Wentworth falls. It helped that we had clear and blue skies! Abby, the guide was great

Keiren was an awesome tour guide! He had great local knowledge and fun trivia along the way. The sites were great, and the pace was appropriate for the length of the excursion.

We had an amazing day exploring the Blue Mountains. The walk down to Wentworth Falls and back up to the car park involved a lot of steps up and down, but it was really worth the effort. As a bit older person, I paced myself and managed it just fine. Our driver and guide Glen was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Our picnic lunch was fun. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who really just wants to experience the beautiful Blue Mountains without all the other ad-on destinations that some tours offer.

An excellent Blue Mountain excursion

Thanks to our guide Abby, it was a very well organized trip. We enjoyed the scenic hike down the waterfall and multiple photo opportunities along the bus ride.

Highly recommend

Brilliant tour with an amazing tour guide ‘Chris’. He was knowledgeable and full of information, polite and an extremely safe driver.

Blue Mountain Review

Deanna_M, Apr 2026
This tour is very active. We took 3 separate hikes and there were lots of stairs. I would say it was moderate with an option to do even more. Hikes were beautiful and Zac did a great job teaching us about the area. The day moved along at a good pace and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Highly recommend for people who want to be active and see the beautiful Blue Mountains

Abbey was such a great tour guide! The bus was clean and passed the random inspection along the way! - We had enough time in each of the locations And appreciated Abbeys antidotes along the way. - Even though we had a small breakfast prior, we were thankful for the coffee and toilet stop while she ordered our lunch which was absolutely delicious! - This tour was very.much thought out, so many little details accounted for. Thank you for all of the work you have put into this experience!

Epic day

Angela_L, Apr 2026
Amazing tour to the mountains and three sisters. Optional waterfall walk and free time to explore. Guide was amazing and made the tour fun.

So glad we chose this tour!

Ajay_P, Mar 2026
We had a great day in the Blue Mountains thanks to our guide, Abby! This was the perfect tour with the hike to the Wentworth waterfall (including the 'Stairs of Doom'), the impromptu stop at Govett's Leap to see the Bridal Fall, and stop in Katoomba to see the Three Sisters. Abby made the day fun and chill...and she had the best playlist during the bus ride! Highly recommend.

An amazing experience

Wear sensible footwear. The scenery was amazing but the trek down to the waterfall felt like such an achievement. It was definately the highlight of the trip. Our guide, Chris, took good care of us. Nice lunch too.

Excellent Trip

Lynda_M, Mar 2026
This was a truly wonderful and memorable trip which we couldn't recommend more highly. Prior to confirming our booking, the team took time to answer our queries and provide detailed information and advice which really helped us make a decision. Communication with us thereafter was excellent. The trip itself was brilliantly led by Ben who took time to explain the itinerary and what to expect from the day. He made us feel very welcome and not just another group! Lunch was very good and the transport very comfortable. The walking routes were beautiful and well worth the physical effort! Thank you for such a wonderful day.

Blue Mountain tour

Heather_K, Mar 2026
This is the perfect trip if you really want to experience the Blue Mountains. Since there are no side tours to the zoo or other attractions, you really get to immerse yourself in the experience. We spent every bit of two hours hiking down to Wentworth Falls. Wear sturdy shoes (we wore trainers and were fine) and be prepared for the stairs down to the bottom of the falls. It is well worth the trip down and the effort back up. The trip to Echo point and the Three Sisters was a nice way to end the trip. Ben was a great guide and very knowledgeable and friendly. Worth it!

Excellent tour, well worth it

Jane_C, Mar 2026
This was an excellent tour with a great guide, Zac. We were taken to lots of places of interest and given sufficient time to enjoy them. Nothing was rushed. The lunchtime rolls are made by a Deli and were far above the standard I ever would have expected. They even take specific orders so no worries about preferences or allergies. Zac was informative and entertaining on the bus and and during the walks. I really do recommend this tour and think it is the best value for money you can get.

Zac made it fun but the bus was so cramped I was squished out into a back seat and couldn’t see anything! The mountain hike was great and the lunch was good!

Our day of hiking at the Blue Mountians National Park

Kevin_k, Mar 2026
Unfortunately it was a foggy day and we couldn't see anything from the planned viewpoints. We did however see part if one of them after a significant hike. Our group hiked at a pace that allowed little pausing for photos and mostly we saw our feet as footing was precarious at times. Overall id rather have had this hiking adventure in the rain and fog that not gotten to see this National Park! The Bus on the other hand was terribly uncomfortable for my 6 foot height. The tour guide was bright and energetic and provided some commentary when possible. The pauses and stops were adequate and allowed time for coffee and shop.

Blue Mountains/Wentworth Falls

James_M, Mar 2026
Probably my favorite one day tour that I’ve done. Great tour guide/driver, Chris. A very informative, kind person who gave information about each stop including the story of the Three Sisters. Had heard that story before but not all the details he gave. I had done a tour of the Blue Mountains a few years ago but this one was much better. The highlight for me was trekking down to the base of Wentworth Falls. Highly recommend.

Wear good shoes for the hike and layers for different weather. The guide was great! Knowledgeable, friendly and attentive

Incredible scenery

Erin_O, Feb 2026
A great chance to visit some of the top spots in the Blue Mountains but also a chance to hop out of the bus and explore it, on a trail in Wentworth Falls.

Fantastic day out for all - great value for money. Kieran was a fantastic host. Funny and informative - 10/10 would recommend

Rainy but enjoyable

Staci_C, Jan 2026
It rained almost the entire day, and for much of the tour, we only saw fog. But we all laughed through it. Our guide was fabulous and the experience was fun despite the fog. The fog did break for a few minutes, and it was beautiful.

Worth every penny, do it!

Chris_P, Jan 2026
Stunning views all day & a great tour guide (Zak) As billed, this tour mostly avoided the over touristy stuff and just hit the best natural beauty spots, which was exactly what I wanted. The promise of a mini hike & steep/hard waterfall pass meant the tour group skewed younger, which was perfect for me - met some great people on the day & had a lot of fun. That said, I wouldn't say the walking was thatttttt hard... if you are a bit funny with heights or very steep steps, the last section down to the waterfall might worry you a bit, but its relatively short. Highly recommend!

Brilliant trip

Jinhua_D, Jan 2026
The trip was very organized and well paced. We were picked up on time and truly enjoyed all the activities. Keiran our guide was very knowledgeable and very attended. We did a 2-hour walk and stopped several locations for taking photos and coffee. The provided lunch was delicious! A highly recommend trip.

Seek Discomfort to embrace the benifits on this amazing experience!

Michael_W, Jan 2026
It’s going to be harder than you think. Wear ‘real’ hiking shoes, take a bathing suit and towel if you want to get in the water fall and don’t be late for the meetup times for departure. Otherwise it’s going to blow your mind!

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Hello Michael Really happy that you had a fantastic time with us. The nature walk and waterfalls are indeed quite lovely. The steep stairs on the return part from the base of the main waterfall are indeed difficult however doable for most. It is not mandatory to do this part of the walk for everyone. Just for anyone else reading this review you can attend our tour with closed walking shoes that you are comfortable walking with. Also the possible swimming spot is only about knee deep in depth so please don't envision a deep watering hole. It's more of a splash around location with a nice waterfall in the background for a photo. Have a lovely time in Sydney and the rest of Australia Michael. 🙂
