Itinerary
Make your own way to the two central Sydney meeting point for an early-morning pickup, and meet your guide and group. Catch up on sleep, choose some tunes to put on the stereo, or get to know your fellow groupmates on the minibus journey to the Blue Mountains.
Arrive in the Blue Mountains National Park. Set off on an extended, moderately challenging hiking walk up to Wentworth Falls, one of the park’s most photographed natural wonders. With your guide in the lead, getting there is made simpler.
Enjoy a meat or vegetarian filled roll for lunch and sample Aussie snacks like Tim Tams and Vegemite. Afterwards, head to the famous Three Sisters rock formations. Pose for photos against a backdrop of the magnificent Jamison Valley.
After a full day in the mountains, head back to the city, where your tour ends with drop-off at your original departure point.

- November to March we sometimes have a splash in a shallow waterfall...though all year round you are welcome to get under the Waterfall (shallow 1m depth max) though is cold in winter #youdoyou

- Designated pickup and drop off at 812 George Street, Haymarket in the city which is nearby the FRONT of St Laurence church on the George Street side.
- Moderate amount of walking involved with a 90min hike, there is an option to skip the hardest part as this section is return. Waterfall is 187 meters down.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes...hiking shoes are not necessary. We are not a full on hike tour.
- Welcome to bring snacks and drinks on bus. Please help us with your rubbish/trash
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. It can get really cold, really hot, rain and extremely rarely snow....the Blue Mountains is always a surprise. If it is cool in Sydney it will be very cold in the upper Blue Mountains. Please keep an eye on the weather "Katoomba Weather"
- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc. We ask this information on the tour at 730am

- The hardest part of the hike to the base of the waterfall is optional so skip out on an individual basis. Your guide will discuss this with you

A very good introduction to the Blue Mountains area & perfect for anyone just in Sydney for a short time. The guide was friendly & informative, & a lot was packed into the day with no sense of time pressure.
Nice day trip to the blue mtns from Sydney. Emma (our guide) was fantastic from start to finish. The walk can be a little strenuous if not in shape or have elderly but worth the effort. Spectacular views!!!

This was a wonderful hike in the Blue Mountains. Chris, our guide, was knowledgeable and helpful. At least a moderate level of fitness is required.
Enjoyable relaxed trip with a very friendly guide. We were able to avoid the crowds and see the sights without hoardes or queuing for photos. Lunch was nice and we arrived back at base at 5pm. The waterfall walk wasn’t as tricky as other reviewers suggested

We had a great experience on this Blue Mountains tour! Our group was around 25 people, which felt like a nice size, and our tour guide, Chris, was fantastic and super knowledgeable. The meeting point was very clear and easy to find, which made getting started stress free.
We drove about 40 minutes to our first stop, a small town where we had a chance to grab coffee while Chris picked up our fresh lunches for later in the day.
The highlight of the tour was definitely the hike. The trails took us through the Blue Mountains with absolutely breathtaking views. I’d describe the hike as moderately strenuous, with a good mix of people of different ages and fitness levels. Chris did a great job explaining what to expect and was upfront about one section that would be more challenging. The descent to the bottom of the waterfall involved very steep, wet stairs and definitely wouldn’t be for everyone but the views along the way and at the bottom were incredible and completely worth it!
We finished the day at the Three Sisters before heading back to Sydney. Personally, I thought the waterfall hike was by far the best part of the tour. The Three Sisters stop was nice, but I could have skipped it. I also didn’t really know what I was supposed to be looking for there, so it didn’t have quite the same impact as the hike.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this tour, especially if you’re looking for a more active way to experience the Blue Mountains and want to see some incredible scenery beyond the typical viewpoints.
Our guide Zac was very friendly and knowledgeable, and kept the energy positive throughout the trip. The lunch provided was filling and delicious, and accounted for our dietary requests without a problem. During the guided walk section, the were segments where we were free to move slower or not participate at all, so suited us well, although the main first walk (just under an hour) was a little winding and steep at times, so would be challenging for some.
My wife and I had a really enjoyable day out with this tour. The scenery is beautiful and the walk to Wentworth Falls through the undercliff sections was a real highlight. Our guide, Abbey, was very organised and helpful.
My wife was a bit tired after walking a lot the previous day and so on the walk to Wentworth Falls we lagged behind. Abbey waited at key junctions of the path to guide us while the rest of the group moved ahead. There was also an opportunity for us to head back uphill to the bus earlier than the rest of the group so we could have extra time without needing to rush.
This is really nice tour. If you want to see mesmerizing places in blue mountains specially in one day this is the best tour. Really friendly guide and he is sharing knowledge experience with participants nice experience. Love it ❤️

The entire trip was very well organised. Its a great excursion for those who really want to experience the Blue mountains away from the touristy spots.
Of course the tour guide Abby was what made the day. She was friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the triva game she orgainsed. The hike requires a certain level of fitness to get down to the bottom. Yet the views from the bottom are all worth it. All in all an excursion definitely recommended.
They did not cancel when raining and couldn’t see any of the blue mountains or three sisters at all. Although the drive did the best he could.

Hi Kevin, thank you for your feedback. We're sorry the weather didn't allow you to enjoy the iconic Blue Mountains views on the day of your tour. We never like hearing that a guest has had a disappointing experience or receiving poor feedback, however it's a little easier to accept when the circumstances are outside of our control.
Fortunately, days where the views are completely obscured are quite rare, and often conditions are much better than the forecast suggests. As outlined in our booking confirmation, we recommend guests keep an eye on the weather forecast in the days leading up to their tour. If the forecast isn't suitable for them, guests are welcome to cancel in accordance with our lenient 24-hour cancellation policy. As also outlined in our booking confirmation, we no longer cancel tours on behalf of guests, as many still choose to visit and enjoy the waterfalls, rainforest walks and wildlife, even in wet weather.

If you want to do a Blue mountains tour that is more than just stopping at overlooks, this tour is great! We did a fantastic hike to Wentworth falls. It helped that we had clear and blue skies! Abby, the guide was great
Keiren was an awesome tour guide! He had great local knowledge and fun trivia along the way. The sites were great, and the pace was appropriate for the length of the excursion.
Great experience. Abbey was an amazing guide ! Friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The Blue Mountains are beautiful and the hike through them was perfect. Steps can be slippery and steep so be cautious. Highly reccomend for anyone wanting some level of a workout hike.

We had an amazing day exploring the Blue Mountains. The walk down to Wentworth Falls and back up to the car park involved a lot of steps up and down, but it was really worth the effort. As a bit older person, I paced myself and managed it just fine. Our driver and guide Glen was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Our picnic lunch was fun. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who really just wants to experience the beautiful Blue Mountains without all the other ad-on destinations that some tours offer.
Thanks to our guide Abby, it was a very well organized trip. We enjoyed the scenic hike down the waterfall and multiple photo opportunities along the bus ride.
Brilliant tour with an amazing tour guide ‘Chris’. He was knowledgeable and full of information, polite and an extremely safe driver.
This tour is very active. We took 3 separate hikes and there were lots of stairs. I would say it was moderate with an option to do even more. Hikes were beautiful and Zac did a great job teaching us about the area. The day moved along at a good pace and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Highly recommend for people who want to be active and see the beautiful Blue Mountains
Abbey was such a great tour guide! The bus was clean and passed the random inspection along the way! - We had enough time in each of the locations And appreciated Abbeys antidotes along the way. - Even though we had a small breakfast prior, we were thankful for the coffee and toilet stop while she ordered our lunch which was absolutely delicious! - This tour was very.much thought out, so many little details accounted for. Thank you for all of the work you have put into this experience!

We had a great day in the Blue Mountains thanks to our guide, Abby! This was the perfect tour with the hike to the Wentworth waterfall (including the 'Stairs of Doom'), the impromptu stop at Govett's Leap to see the Bridal Fall, and stop in Katoomba to see the Three Sisters. Abby made the day fun and chill...and she had the best playlist during the bus ride! Highly recommend.
Wear sensible footwear. The scenery was amazing but the trek down to the waterfall felt like such an achievement. It was definately the highlight of the trip. Our guide, Chris, took good care of us. Nice lunch too.
The weather was lousy, but we were warned by the organizers. Couldn't change dates. The guide was very helpful and knowledgeable.
The lady (forgot name) was absolutely brilliant in keeping us engaged and showing the scenery around.
